Prologue: Jett Connell
My journey began on June 21st, 1992. It ended the same day, 18 years later.
My wolf has been with me since birth; sometimes when I join with him, with my wolf, and I try to remember, I can feel the cord tethering me to my mother being cut, my head slipping from the seal of her skin.
But only when I am my wolf.
When I am my human, life is easier and harder in a way. The routine. An endless cycle...well, until i have to run.
But when I’m my wolf, I remember.
My journey isn’t one that starts at birth and ends in death. No, my journey is to find my mate. And after that, that is when we start our journey, together.
But I never counted on her fighting it.
