A few days later....
"Peter are you excited! I mean Holy shit! Do you think we'll meet any avengers? Can you introduce us?" Abe asked me, I wasn't really friends with him, but he was on the decathlon team with me
This field trip came too soon. We were already sitting on the bus on our way to the tower. And it was worse because Ned had a doctor's appointment and couldn't come with us, but I promised I would take him later.
"He doesn't know any avengers. All Penis does is get coffees" Flash yelled out loud
"Fuck off Eugene. Some might think you were jealous that Peter works there and you keep getting rejected" MJ said and Flash stood up and went to the back of the bus
The whole bus went silent before laughing. I looked over at Mr. Scott and he just looked annoyed, and he wasn't doing anything.
"Here we are" Mr. Scott said looking out the window
Everyone immediately went to the windows of the bus and started taking pictures. If they thought the outside was cool, they were going to love the museum and the labs. Everyone immediately got off the bus and followed Mr.Scott inside.
Everything looked shiny and new. There was art and pictures everywhere, and this was only the bottom floor. It really was amazing. Once we walked in, we stopped at security and waited to get our badges. I looked around to see Happy walk over with a bunch of lanyards.
"Hello Midtown. I'm the head of security. These are your guest badges for today, you are level white. That's what all tour groups get. Don't lose these because you won't get another one, and don't even think about using these again because they won't work. Now this is Kate, she is your tour guide, listen to her" Happy said before handing her the badges and the notepad
He walked off before anyone could say anything.
"Hello everyone. My name is Kate and I'm your tour guide today. I'm also an intern in the lower labs. I will begin to call each of your names and you can grab your badge" She said firmly
I didn't really know Kate because I was never in the lower labs. She probably had no idea who I was.
"Betty Brant"
"Michelle Jones"
"Cindy Moon"
"Eugene Thompson"
She read through the entire list and passed out the badges. After everyone got their badges, I grabbed mine and put it around my neck. I was hoping no one made a big deal about my gold badge.
"Excuse me....it seems you forgot to give Peter a badge" My teacher told her gently pushing towards the front of the group
"Mr.Parker!" She exclaims surprisingly, and I can see her face turn bright red
"Hello" I told her and I could see her starting to straighten out her clothes
"I didn't expect to see you. Are you observing today? I must say it's an honor to have you join our tour" She said nervously
"I'm actually not here to observe. I'm here on a field trip with my class today"
"Why did you get so nervous about Peter?" Somebody in the class asked
"Mr. Parker is extremely important to the company. He is practically our boss because he works for Mr. Stark, and he has a gold badge" She explained to the surprised class
This is going worse than I expected, did all interns act this way when they see me? I'm not really that special. I hated the looks I was getting.
"How does he get a gold badge?" Flash demanded
"White badges is for all tour groups and lower interns, blue is for higher interns, bronze is for business employees, Silver is for government officials and avengers, bright yellow is security, and gold is....the highest level of clearance. That means you can go anywhere in the building you want. Like I said, Mr. Parker is very important in this building" She explained and everyone looked at me
"What! Not possible! No one should give him that badge" Flash said grabbing the badge from around my neck
"I have to go everywhere, I'm Tony Starks personal intern" I told him grabbing the badge out of his hands
"Mr. Thompson! What Mr. Parker does outside of school is none of your business. Now this is your first warning" Mr. Scott said and Flash went back to his friends
"Let's just start the tour. Fair warning, you might hear Tony's A.I speak to you throughout the tour. Hello Friday" Kate said looking at the ceiling
"Hello Kate and hello students. Welcome to Stark Industries. Peter I hope you enjoy your tour, Mr. Stark has already been informed of your arrival. Enjoy" Friday said and everyone jumped at the sound
Why didn't I think of Friday? She always tells dad when I enter the building. This just made everything worse. I felt everyone looking at me once again, but Kate just continued with the tour.
"Alright....Stark Industries was started with Howard Stark...." I didn't bothering listening to her speech because I've heard it many times
Meanwhile....
Tony's pov
I was working in the lab and I heard Friday announce Peter. That couldn't be possible, Peter was supposed to be at school?
"Friday? Why is Peter in the building and not at school?" I asked her putting down my work
"It appears midtown has a field trip. He is currently in the avengers museum with his class"
He didn't tell me about his field trip? Well if that's how he wanted to play this.
"Friday, inform the rest of the avengers that Peter apparently has a field trip right now that he didn't tell us about, just in case they want to visit him and his classmates. Also schedule a Q&A at the end of their tour, that way they can ask me any questions they have" I told Friday
I quickly got up and went to the living room to see Pepper standing in the kitchen.
"Tony please don't. I told him you wouldn't know about any of this" She scolded crossing her arms, how did she already know?
"Pepper he didn't tell me because he thinks I will embarrass him. I promise I won't, besides all I'm going to do is set up a quick Q&A and that will be it. I will stay up here until then" I promised
"What about the others?"
"I don't have control of what the others do. It won't be too bad" I told her and she gave me that annoyed look and walked to the elevator
Well today was going to be interesting.
Wanda's pov
Once I heard Friday's announcement, I knew today was going to be an interesting day. The others were already breaking off in their own groups and talking about ways to embarrass Peter. I didn't want to embarrass my boyfriend, so I wasn't going to help them.
"Okay Wanda....do you want to visit him? I can have you bring him his lunch after I visit" Sam asked me
"Of course. Just don't go overboard, his classmates already think he is lying and the other half think he is a charity case. So try not to humiliate him too much" I told them
Everyone started shouting and yelling angrily. Peter was anything but a charity case. I probably shouldn't have told them that, Peter told me that privately.
"A charity case! They think he is a charity case? Well I guess it's our job to prove them wrong. Since you don't want to embarrass him, can you at least bring him lunch?" Clint asked me and I nodded
"We will see you later. Remember, nobody can know that he is a Stark yet. He is just an intern today" Steve reminded us, and Sam immediately took off for the elevator
Steve packed his lunch today, which I knew he was going to love because Steve was one of the best cooks. I went down to my room for awhile to wait for Sam to be done bothering Peter. I still can't believe he didn't tell me about the field trip.
Later....
"Ms. Maximoff, it seems Mr. Wilson is finished and is heading upstairs"
I quickly walked to the elevator and went down to the intern labs where Peter was. I walked towards the intern labs hoping to avoid people noticing me, but that was unlikely.
"Is that Scarlet Witch!" I heard someone shout and everyone immediately looked at me
