our love story was very cliché. we became classmates when we were on 5th grade. i was 11 while you were 10 years old that time. i was a year older than you. we weren't close. we weren't friends. we would only talk to each other when we have questions about school works. i couldn't remember a conversation we had that was about us talking like friends because we never had one.
i still remember, we used to be competitors on getting the first rank on our class. even if you don't say it, you're obviously trying to trounce me in everything we do. you always wanted to have a higher score in quizzes, exams, or recitations and you would always get pissed because you couldn't beat me. you've always hated losing. i always had the highest scores. i've always had the first rank in class.
we were only like that—classmates, competitors. we weren't strangers to each other, but we weren't also friends. but the crazy thing is, it never did cross my mind that these quiet kid in our class would change my whole life.
