(So don't hate me but I don't know much about Yao - aka China)
1273 China had just been conquered by the Mongolia empire. The year before millions of people either died fighting, or committed suicide all thanks to the Mongolians. The female population in China was low. Not to mention the children.
You were walking around. (Y/h) flowing behind you the top half of your hair pulled back. You walked into your home and shut the door taking off your shoes "媽媽，爸爸，我回家了！" (google translate don't hate "mother, father, I'm home!")
You had fought in the war. In your brothers place. You had also became friends with a girl named Mulan but she went for her father. Your brother had a birth defect and was to young to know how to use it to his advantage.
Your little brother ran up and hugged you tightly "您的家庭大姐姐!!" ("Your home big sister!!" You smile softly and hug him. "是的，我回家." ("Yes I'm home.")
Your way of speaking in Chinese was different then your families. You'd been in the military for four years so you spoke both Chinese and a small bit of english.
This was only because you met a man named Yao Wang. He looked like a girl when you and Mulan first met him but you quickly realised it was a guy. He found out you were a girl when you left with a injury to the leg.
He had long brown hair and hazelnut coloured eyes. His skin was flawless. Not to mention his legs and damn did he have some.
These things made you think he was a girl but hey......now you can be a lucky girl.
You had told him your family name and he promised he'd come find you.
It's been a year. The only reason your brother screamed was because he was scared you'd leave again.
You had been home for a year and had been helping your family with errands and the business that they ran.
Your mother came around the corner and slapped your head "你遲到了" (your late)
You smiled nervously " 對不起的媽媽，我看到花木蘭，不得不和她說話..."(sorry mother I saw Mulan and had to speak with her..)
Your mother nods and hugged you and went back to sewing a new outfit for you and your brother.
You finally get your brother to go draw in the family room and went to the kitchen.
Once everything was starting to cook you breathed out calming yourself. The sound of the sizzling sounded like the fire lit to multiple things around you in the war. The hand made guns sizzle as water is poured over them. "Never again."
The BANG was enough to send someone into shock. But you and your fellow men had to get used to it. You hoped you'd never hear the sound of a gun again nor the screaming that followed.
This was all that was in your head till you heard a knock. (Y/b/n) ran to get the door. (Your brothers name)
"你是誰？" (who are you?)The small boy backed up once he saw the sword and ran to you. Scared for his life.
The man frowns sadly and pecked in. "I'm sorry aru. It seems I have scared the little one.."
This voice, it was the soothing voice you'd heard so many times in the war.
"Yao?" You walk to the door and smile "Hello it's been a while (y/n)."
He hadn't met the true you.
Until that night and then on.
