"Ambrosius, lie down," Orrin commanded, draping my body onto my bed. I nodded weakly, cuddling into the sheepskin. Orrin cast me a sad smile before he ruffled my hair. "Relax, Amb. I'll be down the hall." He pressed his lips against my forehead as he turned to walk out of my room. "Wait!" I grabbed his hand. "I'm sorry for ruining your meeting." His eyes flashed in pain before he clenched them closed. "Amby, that wasn't your fault."

"B-but," I sniffled between each word. "I-it's because I'm an i-incubus, right? I'm too tempting for my own good." He shook his head, his fangs sinking into his bottom lip. He crouched down next to me. "Ambrosius, that Olympian is all to blame. His dumb whore of a father doesn't think Olympians should take the blame for the things they do. They're all a bunch of worthless, incestuous--" he rambled on, cursing the Olympian deities. "--Should've fed them all to Kronos when we had the chance!" He gritted out. "Orri? Are you okay?" He stood facing away from me, but I could still feel the heat of his anger radiating off his back. He let out a long sigh, turning back to me. "This wasn't your fault. I'll make him pay for his misdeeds and then we'll feast on dried figs and honeyed bread, okay?" I gasped excitedly. "The really big figs?" He nodded. "The best figs a drachma can buy." He grinned wide. "I'll be in the next room, okay? Just relax, maybe work on your tapestry?"

He left the room, leaving me to my weaving loom. I beamed at the sight of the strings hanging so peacefully. It wasn't much now, but it'll be gorgeous when it is finished. The tapestry will be designed like the image taking my dreams as of late, a large grassy hill covered in so many pretty flowers, one for every color in the rainbow. Above the flowers, the sun shone brightly, burning its love onto the world.

I began to mess with the strings, manipulating them like puppets that I saw the village children giggling at. Just as I started to actually get to business, a strange power shot through my spine. I heard the hushed voices of my brother and a mystery man. I stepped away from my loom and silently snuck from my room to the next, the hushed voices becoming less hushed. I hid in the shadows in the doorway.

A man who looked just like Hypnos, with long white hair and lavender eyes that could cut you where you stand, and towering horns much more impressive than my brother's or my own, despite the left horn being half-broken,  was talking to my brother in a language I didn't understand. I wish I knew what they were saying! I stupidly put one foot in the room, causing the white-haired man to snap his attention to me.

"Looks like we have a visitor."
