(Milo) p.o.v
As i woke up i seen the wild hair of my fiance rested at my face.
"Morning baby" i whispered into her ear as i kissed her cheek
I lifted the thin covers to head to the shower as today was going to be long day.
The warm water fell onto my body, this was the second day in weeks id been home.
Ive been on a country tour with Ford agency to recruit our rookie models.
And then all of a sudden a smoothed skin, brazilian body woman came to my mind. I think she said her name was Diamond
I didnt know why i was thinking about her.
I turned the shower off, and quickly got dressed to meet Danielle to pick out 5 of our top 10.
As i went downstairs i saw Chantae making eggs, the sizzling sound of the pan and smell of the toast made me want to stay home but i couldnt
"Mmhm baby what you cooking" i asked as i bit of the toast that was in her hand.
"Some eggs. You staying?" She asked as she moved the pan to the table.
Hope lurked in her eye's.
"No sorry. I gotta go meet dani!" I said to her.
She had a frown in her face, it was something she was used to.
"I promise you next week im all yours" i said to her.
"You said that last week" she said as she reached to kiss me.
"I promise okay" i said giving her one last sinister look before leaving.
I opened the door to my car and strolled to the cafè
"Im on my way dani" i said to her as i put her on loud speaker.
"Ugh your always late milo!" She replied.
I chuckled.
"So whats your thoughts on the pictures of the girl i sent you?" I asked her.
"Get your ass in here and we will discuss it" she said and quickly hung up
"Typical danielle" i mumbled
As i stopped at the red lights i looked down at the time it read 8:45am
Matter of fact. I wasnt even late she was just early
I parked my car in the parking area and entered the cafè.
I saw danielle sat down with her glasses covering her face as she sipped on her cappuccino. Her usual order
"Milo decided to show up" she said.
"Its 9:01 am dani! Were supposed to meet at 15 past" i replied.
She tutted and took out a big file of paper work.
"Anyway, the pictures of the girl you sent me.." she said.
"Shes perfect right!" I said to her.
"Thats for sure! But-"
"But what?!"
"Theres other girls here" she said showing me pictures "with model bodies. Isnt that what we need" she continued.
"What!" I said.
"She doesnt have the ideal model body" danielle said.
"Dani thats not fair! Theres many kinds of models. And getting my approval is hard-"
She cutt me of
"Alright!! I dont want to hear your speech, we will invite her to the platform and see how it goes. Im not saying shes going to be hired!"
I smiled.
"Thank you"
After picking out 4 people i was sad to text Diamond to tell her, her friend Alex wasn't picked. She didn't take it well
"WHAT! im sorry but without my best friend i dont think im interested in that offer, you either take both of us or nobody" she said.
I sighed
"Ill see what i can do! But please dont say no to it. I tried hard to get my partner to agree into getting you in" i replied.
"You should try hard for Alex too, she deserves it more than me. Until then let me know what your 'partner' says" she texted
And got offline.
I knew Dani had her mind made up! But if it meant having Diamond part of the team id try to help her get her friend on it too.
By the time i got home from a devastating meeting my fiance was already fast asleep, i slowly opened the door and took light steps up the stairs, i needed to pack soon for my trip to ATL
"Were was you?" Chantae groaned as she rubbed her eyes.
"Shh go back to sleep" i whispered
I knew she was worried about me cheating on her. And i understood since i made that mistake twice
"I need to start packing, i might be leaving sooner than i expected" i whispered.
She groaned once again and threw her arms on-top of me
"Ugh remind me why we both took full time jobs?" She said
Chantae was a lawyer, her dad took her to a law school during sophomore year,
Her dad didn't like me, and i didn't blame him.. once i cheated on her i was a 'disgrace' to their family.. i received a couple hits which i didn't hold hatred for
she was really smart and won a couple of cases, we were both payed well. That was something i loved her for.. her intelligence
"Baby sooner or later you gon' have to return to the office!" I said to her
"Ugh you right"
She said getting herself back to bed and snuggling the covers
"So let me enjoy the warmth and sleep" she whispered before closing her eyes
I chuckled.

I sat downstairs as i skyped Danielle telling her to re-consider her decision
"I think Alex would make a great model, her skin is absolutely flawless and we need that in the industry" i said
"A cappuccino, $85 dollars, and a new purse. Deal?" She said.
"Did i ever tell you i hated you?" I mumbled
We both laughed on the webcam
"Alright well i have two hours of sleep left so ill speak to you later" she said as she lowered her computer screen
"Peace" i replied as i did the same.
I quickly grabbed my phone in excitement to tell Diamond the great news
"Guess who got Alex in?" I said
"NO WAY!!" she replied.
"Now have you considered it?" I asked her.
"Hmm.. for sure" she said.
"Ill give you my details and were we can meet in ATL" i said to her.
"Cool" she said.
I slightly smiled, i couldn't wait to show her around.
"Babe" chantae yelled as she came down the stairs
"I do hope you know its abit late" i chuckled.
"This is a serious request" she whispered in a sinister look.
She sat on my lap and rested her head on my chest as she searched for comfort
"Whatssup? You okay" i asked her.
"Well after my cervical cancer surgery im no longer able to have kids" she mumbled.
I already knew before she did, it made me upset i always wanted to have children but i would never let that become a problem between me and chantae because i loved her
"The good part is i was thinking maybe we can adopt a child, thats if you want to" she quickly said
I didn't know how to feel, taking in someone who i wont be able to see much because of my job made me feel uncomfortable
"Oh baby thats great" i said to her..
"Yout face doesnt seem to say so" she said lifting her head from my chest and examining my next facial expression
"I am its just, we have full time jobs we wont be able to keep up with-"
"I cant believe you milo! And i dont care about our jobs. Ill quit being a lawyer if i have to" she said cutting me of
"Are you crazy?" I asked her.
She got of me and bit her lip.
"Why cant we just get away from everything and build our own family milo?" She said
"Because its not as easy as it sounds, we wont be able to provide enough love for a kid who you didnt birth"
She walked back and forth in anger
"Wow.. how selfish can you be! We've tried multiple times on that darn bed and i wasnt able to give you something any fucking woman can. And the moment i can atleast have a child..adopted or not.. you still refuse" she said as she walked away
"Chantae thats not being selfish, your carriying more then you can handle" i replied
"Ive done that all my life" she said throwing a pillow on me
"You can sleep on the couch" she yelled shutting her door.

I put my trainers on and left the house as i sat in my car, i breathed in and out but it didnt help me calm down
"Ugh fuck!" I mumbled.
I could see her shadow behind the curtains, she was crying.
And now i felt terrible, i dont deserve her i put her through enough already.
I drived and drived until i got to a place were i would feel calm.
I entered the bar across the street and lit up my cigar.
"One glass of beer" i told the bar tender as i sat on the tools.
Glass after glass i felt unconscious enough to forget what happend earlier.
It made me feel at ease
"You feeling down too huh?" A feminine voice said.
I lifted my head from the table as a headache was pounding in me
I stared at her legs slowly trailing my look up to her face! It was Diamond.
As drunk as i was i knew it was her
She looked at me in pity
I held my drink in my hand as i swirled it around.. contemplating weather i should finish it or not.
"What..." i hiccuped "are you.. doing here" i said breaking off each time
"I was at the drug store across the road, i needed my medical treatment pills and i just saw you walking in" she said
I wasn't drunk enough to not understand what she was saying.
"This drug store is quite far" i told her
"It was the only one that was opened on my google maps" she replied
"Why.. do you need pills" i said rubbing my forehead as my vision was beginning to become a blur.
"I used to fight.. still healing" she mumbled
I think she though because i was drunk i wouldn't be able to hear her much but i could.
She sat beside me and took a note out of her purse.
"Ill have a glass of beer" she told the bar tender.
We sat next to each other looking away as it was quite awkward.
"By the way thank you for getting Alex in!!" She said breaking the silence.
"No prob" i said.
"Hey i gotta go home" i continued.
"This soon?" She asked.
"My fiance probably waiting for me"
"Oh you have a fiance?" She asked.
Shit.. stupid me.
"Yeah."
"So why are you out here getting drunk?" She asked me
Good question.
"I just needed to clear my head after the meeting i had with my partner" i said to her
"Oh"
"Well i guess i wont hold you back any longer" she finished of.
I stood up waving goodbye at her until something grabbed my arm
"I just wanted to say thank you once again.. Alex deserved it" she said standing up to hug me really tight.
I smirked
"Arent you a little too drunk to be driving" she asked
"Im fine!" I said
I clearly wasn't, my eyes were hurting and i could barely stand up straight.
"I can take you home if you want, my car is just parked out there" she said
"I cant leave my car here" i told her
"Come pick it up in the morning" she replied.
I looked at her and smiled, we stayed quiet for a few seconds and stared into each others eyes, it felt like a life time. It felt as if we was reading each other in one swift look.
"Okay you've convinced me" i told her.
She had a big grin across her face
"Are you sure your wife wont mind" she said
"My fiance" i corrected "and no its okay" i continued
She gave the bar tender a few extra tip and led me outside to her white range rover, it was surprising how she lived in the hood and owned a rich car like this one.
"Buckle up, its gonna be a long night of talking" she mumbled as we sat in the car.
As she focused on driving i looked at her, she had 3 strands of hair falling behind her ear, she looked cute whiles focusing.
She bit her bottom lip as she steered the steering wheel. I could tell she was only getting used to the car
"So tell me a little about yourself" she asked me
"Well im 26, work at fords modelling agency, won two Oscars and ive been in a couple of movies" i said.
"Oh for real? What movies!! I would of recognized you" she said excited
"Well when i was 5 i was part of the street hustler" i said to her.
She opened her mouth wide open
"You was that lil sassy kid!! Oh my god!!" She said
"I knew you looked familiar" she continued
"I only had about 7 lines, i puked after we had to stay up to play the scene under the rain.. most embarrassing day of my life" i chuckled.
"You lying" she laughed.
Damn, that laugh brought life.
