"I guess I came here earlier" Rose sighed as she read the txt message Jennie sent her
"Okay I'll wait here near the exit" Rose replyed as she read again before she slumped her back on the wall behind her.
she insert her earphone to keep her mind busy as she waits for her best friend to arrive
The tall blonde girl was humming when she feel someone touched her arm then decided removed the earphones then opened her eyes expecting to see Jennie in front of her but the big smile she have slowly turns into a scowl.
"U-unnie? " Rose stuttered as she remember everything all at once
"Hello Roseanne it's been a while" the older girl asked the taller girl nonchalantly
"How are you Roseanne" the Older girl asked politely with the smile
Instead of a friendly effect the younger girl cringe when she hears the other girl call her name

"Fancy meeting you here! Why are you here? " the older girl asked enthusiastically
"I'm meeting my classmate, we're going to my house" Rose answered coldly once she composed herself again
"Yahh I remember your house is near the train station" the older girl says playfully
For a few second both girls we're surrounded by defeaning silence. But IU grabs Rose arm before she turns away
"I wanted to talk to you for a long time" she says seriously
. Rose Stood there frozen waiting for iu to finish her speech
"I really wanted to tell you that I'm sorry, when you enter high school " IU continued and this made rose turn and look at her directly
"But I never saw you after that day, i just heard that you transferred school immediately, I'm sorry " IU says looking directly at the younger girls eyes
Rose was just standing there dumbfounded at everything.
"I'm really sorry" she repeated softly waiting for the younger girls answer
Rose was just Looking at IU without any hint of emotion in her face
"what exactly are you even sorry for?" rose stuttered slightly but she recovered quickly
"You were an ordinary girl, I pressured on going out with me, " IU tries to explain but she cant look straight into the intense gaze Rose is giving her.
"A-and now I mean... " IU looked away
"Mean what" Rose dared coldly
"I mean if you still find yourself attracted to girls then that must be because of what I did" the older girl says sheepishly
Rose's ear perked up to what her former lover says and as she listen to it she can't just stood there and let the woman invalidate her feelings.
"But if you turn back to the ordinary girl just like before our phase then I guess I don't have anything to worry about" IU smiled as if she didnt cause some rage within the other girl
Rose clenched her hands to control her temper she also bite her lip so hard that she can taste some blood on her lip
"Please don't concern yourself with what happen to me" Rose started coldly
"In fact at this point in time I really don't get why I fell for a girl like you"
Rose says calmly as she look straight into the older girls eyes
IU seems to be conflicted to what the younger girl told her.
"I'm glad" IU answered but she was cutted off shortly by the raging blonde
"Well you know I'm somewhat thankful to you," Rose started but she stopped when she hear a certain voice
"Is everything okay here? " Jennie asked timidly as she interrupt the two girls
"Jen! " Rose walked closely to her friend then linked their arms
"Yeah I just saw some old Schoomate" Rose said then she looked sans emotion to IU
"I'm sorry to keep you waiting" Jennie smiled shyly at her bestfriend then give the other girl a small smile to acknowledge her presence
"Bye" Rose said to IU then walked off with her still confused bestfriend

"Uhmm chaeng, who was that girl earlier? Are you okay?" Jen asked hesitantly to the blonde.
"Oww. That was no one, just an old acquaintance, yeah I'm okay don't worry"
Rose said then give a reassuring smile to the brunette
"Hmmm okay, sooo what's up with this? " Jennie says then lift their linked arms to make her point.
Rose turned red in an instant then she let go of Jennie's arm as if she was burned from touching the other girl.
"S-sorry I-i just got caught in the moment and act without even thinking sorry." Rose stammered shyly while Jennie just look at her quizzically
"Well......you never do that, you're not touchy kind I just find it weird" Jennie explained
"Not that I mind though " Jennie continued.
then she grabbed Rose's hand and then she tugged it so they can walk already
"Uhmmm Jen what are you doing? " Rose asked softly still staring at their joined hands
"Well I'm just getting my payback" Jennie gives her bestfriend the famous gummy smile then the brunette tugged Rose again to continue their journey
"Now who's being weird" Rose mumbled softly but she didn't remove her hand from Jennie's grip

"Go! " Jennie screamed as she blow the whistle hanging in her neck
"Hey, what are the student council doing? " some random student asked as some of students loitering watch the group run in the quadrangle
"Well they're practicing for the relay this coming sports festival" the other passer-by answered
"I'm sorry Rose! " Lisa says as she tried to catch her breath
"You're taking off early I can't pass the baton to you properly" Lisa expalined
"No I'm not you're just slowing down when youre coming near me" Rose countered
"Sigh... Everyone passed the baton alright except for Lisa and Rose"
"HEY! student council your time is almost up" one of the student reminded them
"Hey both of you. you need more practice after school" Jennie told Rose and Lisa which cause an eye roll from both girls
"Hey Lalisa, are you not getting along well with Rose? " Irene asked the younger girl teasingly
"Huh? What are you even talking about unnie" Lisa deflects the weird question of her Co member but she watch as Rose walked off from the quad

"okay I will breakdown the schedule and explain the duty of everyone" Jennie started the committee meeting for the upcoming sports festival
"The event will start up in 7:30......" JENNIE continued as every student in the meeting write up in their notes
"This seems to be wrapped up early huh? " one of the committee chaired to her friend
"Yeah, Jennie is really good at this presidency thing" the other one answered
Lisa was just listening to the gossip of other student behind her
"these people probably think that Jennie is capable of everything huh? "
she said to herself as she looked at Jennie's serious face while she explain every small detail to the event
"Well probably not everyone, Rose and I know the truth"
Lisa concluded then she saw that Jennie is now looking at her with shy smile, but jennie recovered quickly and continued her agenda
"Okay thats everthing for today, good work everyone" Jennie says as she wrapped up the meeting
"Ms. Kim we need to settle some things" the chief committee says to Jennie. Then she face her student council members
"Okay thank you let's just meet tomorrow" Jennie said then she walked off with the teacher

"MANOBAN! CHAENG! were going ahead you need to practice more right" Irene teased both girls which just earned an eye roll from the vice president
Irene just tugged Taehyung and dragged him towards the exit
"So are we going to practice? " Lisa asked innocently
"Why bother? " Rose answered then she started walking while Lisa just followed the taller blonde.
"I thought youre more the serious type Rose" Lalisa commented to break the awkward silence surrounding them
Rosecjust side glanced the other blonde then she sighed
"I take things seriously only if it's something that is actually iimportant" rose explained
"I see... " Lisa answered softly
"This competitive relay is an event that other clubs do for fun, although Jennie seems so serious about winning first place. " Rose continued while Lisa just stared at her side profile
"Do you not get along with rose? "
Lisa remembered Irene's question earlier, then their encounter near the vending machine flashback to Lisa's mind
"Do you think I was gaullible enough to buy that"
Lisa can still remember her confrontation with rose about Jennie behaviour
After a brief moment Lisa was stopped in her train of thoughts
"Good bye Manoban" Rose said then she walked on the opposite direction
Lisa was just watching the other blonde walk slowly when suddenly
"ROSEANNE! "
Someone calling her name made rose to stop in her tracks then she slowly looked back.
"W-wait, " Lisa said as she tried to catch the other blonde
Rose just raised her brow to the younger blonde as if asking her what's the matter.
"U-uhmm, are you hungry? " Lalisa asked shyly but she smiled innocently

Lisa was walking in the busy fast-food as she juggled the tray she was holding. Then she settled triumphantly in front of an observing blonde
"So, is this your first time here? " Lisa asked to break the awkwardness
"Of course, what kind of a person do you think I am Lalisa" Rose sighed then started eating her burger
"You know I just thought you're too rich for a place like this, besides not everyone could afford private schools"
"Hmm, that place is not as rich and fancy as you think" rose ahrugged petulantly like a kid
Then she watch as Lisa devoured her own burger
"I've been to a place like this tovethere with my classmates before , we also go to family restaurant and karaoke too"
Rose continues then stare at lisa quizically
"I'm sorry to disappoint" Rose said then lisa just pouted
"I wouldn't have guessed" Lisa sighed then continued to eat
Rose just stared at the other blonde then she smiled then flipped her hair
"What are you even expecting me to say huh?"
After a few seconds of just staring into each other Lalisa and Rose both smiled
"You know it would be bad for my reputation for a first year student to go out her way in order help me"
Rose said bit seriously but the awkward tension is now gone
"Huh??? " Lisa stared at the other blonde dumbfounded as if she didnt know what Rose is trying to say.
"We haven't been getting along lately, which is why you are trying to extend an olive branch right? " Rose asked
"I wouldn't put it that dramatically" Lisa smiled then continue eating
"You know Rose my first impression was that you're more of an easy going kind of person, but I can see now that I was wrong"
Then Lisa smiled smugly at the older blonde
" and I thought you would be timid and respectful but you're surprisingly surly for a first-year"
Rose said to continue their friendly banter
"Although I don't hate people who know how to get to the point " Rose says more seriously this time which cause a smile from the Lisa.
"Uhmm Rose, do you honestly want to perform the stage play at the cultural festival? " Lisa asked seriously and Rose just stared at her for a short moment
"You know on personal level, I guess I would say either way" rose answered then sip at her drink
"Either way huh? " Lisa softly mumbles then Rose continues to voice out her thoughts
"I think it have some potential to be fun, but at the same time it will be a big burden" Rose finished
"So in other words you're only doing this because Jennie unnie wants it? " Lisa countered
"If Jen wants it then I'm going to help her" Rose answered
"I know that it will be really impressive if we do it right you know, and besides Jen is really stubborn, no one will ever talk her out of it"
Rose concluded then she slumped at her sit then massage her temples
"Rose.... " Lisa tried to catch Rose's attention and when the other blonde is looking at her she continued her thoughts
"You really like Jennie unnie don't you? " Lisa asked seriously
"Of course she is my closest friend" Rose answered boredly
"That's not exactly what I'm implying" Lisa tried to make her point, but rose just looked at her straight in the eye and asked her
"And you Lalisa, do you like Jennie? "
The question made Lisa blushed and she fumbled and tried to make herself busy but she could see that Rose was just looking at her with this knowing smirk plastered on her face
"Ohh ahmm, well she is a pretty good mentor I think" Lisa tried to deflect
Rose just sighed
"Yeah sure, a friend to me and a mentor to you" Rose deadpanned
"What else could she possibly be" Lisa thought to herself

"Thank you comeback again"
Rose and Lisa are standing in front of the pedestrian as they wait for the traffic light
"So the play is really important to Jennie unnie" Lisa started a conversation
"Well it's the last thing her older sister left behind"
" when it's over, I wondered if Jennie unnie will consider dropping the act she always puts on" Lisa softly mumbles.
Rose just side glanced at the younger blonde then returned her gaze at the countdown
"Will she be just herself" Lisa continued
"I don't think that's what Jennie actually wants" Rose answered Lisa
Then the traffic light turns green
"If that day comes" they both says to themselves
"Will I be able to tell her how I feel?" Rose asked herself
"What will happen to me" Lisa asked herself
both girls were busy on they're own thoughts as they passed through the busy crossroad.
