The feeling was strange. It felt like his knees all the way down to his legs were numb. Beam wasn't sure if it was because of his hurricane of emotions or if it was simply from exhaustion. Regardless, he still kept on running towards the hospital. As soon as he entered the building he wanted to collapse. His heartbeat was racing and so were his thoughts.
The doctor looked at him. Beam could tell that there's hesitation in his eyes. He waited for him to say something but the doctor only gave him a sympathetic smile.
