I walked over and sat down on the cold risers. I didn't want to be here. It was already boring, and we hadn't even started yet. I wondered why I actually had to do this. I am studying to be a teacher, but not a gym teacher. Who needs P.E. in chemistry or math?
I was bored out of my mind.
My eyes drifted to the beautiful girl that sat next to me. Her outfit seemed meticulously planned, and her eyeliner and blush were almost perfect. After looking her up and down a few times, my eyes stayed fixed on her shoes.

I wanted to compliment her. It would be one way to even start up a friendship with this beautiful human.
"I like your sh-shoes," I blurted out, trying to sound confident but failing.
She looked at me, clearly confused. "Uh, thanks, they're gay."
I chuckled.
And then . . .
Silence.
"Now to sit in awkward silence because neither of us know each other but we have no one else to talk to," she said, breaking the silence.
I laughed.
"I'm Momo," I said, putting my hand on my chest.
She smiled wide at me. "Dahyun."
