"Hey babe," I walk into Ricky's room.
"Hey you," he smiles at me.
No one is here.
I hug him.
"I'm ready for you to go home. I'm gonna take care of you and Ezra," I smile.
"You don't have to do that," he grins.
"Yes I do," I kiss his cheek.
He gives me a kiss and I put a little french in it.
He pulls back and smirks.
He kisses my cheek.
I close my eyes and Ricky holds me as I fall asleep.
"Babe," wake up, I feel someone shaking me.
I open my eyes and turn to Ricky.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"Noon," he smiles.
"I haven't got much sleep, so sorry I slept so long," I giggle.
"No worries," he smiles.
The nurse comes in.
"Ricky, who will be taking care of you when you leave?" the nurse asks.
"I will be," I smile.
"Make sure he stays resting. He doesn't need to do a lot of moving. Maybe transitioning from the couch to the bed and vice versa, but that's it. He needs to be on bed rest for one week, and then he should be able to move around," she smiles.
"When do the casts come off?" I ask.
"2 months," she says.
"Thank you," I smile.
"And also, he can go home right now," she smiles.
My smile widens.
The nurse unhooks all the wires and I help Ricky into a wheelchair. I wheel him out to my car and help him in it. I put his wheelchair in the back.
"Are we going by your house first so you can get some clothes?" he asks.
"Nope," I smirk.
I pull up at his house.
"How did my truck get here? It was at your house," he says.
"Luke drove it there," I smile.
I help him inside, and he notices my stuff.
"You moved in?" he asks, grinning from ear to ear.
"Yep!" I grin.
I help him onto his bed and he lays down.
"If you need anything come get me. No getting up!" I say.
"Yeah yeah yeah," he smirks.
"I mean it," I scold.
He smirks. I grab my phone and call mom.
"Is Ezra with you?" I ask as she answers.
"Yes he is," mom says.
"You can drive him over to Ricky's. He got to go home early so you can bring him," I smile.
"We'll be there shortly," mom says.
I hang up and look at Ricky.
"I think I should give you your present now. It will probably come in handy while you're on bed rest," I giggle.
I run to my car and put the PS4 and games in a gift bag.
I walk back inside and look at Ricky.
"You ready?" I smirk.
"Give it to me!" he grins.
I hand it to him and he opens.
"Babe, you're so fucking awesome," he grins.
I giggle.
"Come here!" he opens his arms wide.
I carefully get on the bed and he engulfs me in a hug.
"Want me to hook it up?" I ask.
"Hell yes," he grins.
"And now Ezra can play on the Xbox in the living room," I giggle.
I hook up the PS4 and look at Ricky.
"GTA, Need For Speed, Red Dead Redemption, or Call Of Duty?" I ask.
"Grand Theft Auto," he grins.
I put in the game and hand him the wireless controller I bought.
I kiss his cheek.
"And here's your present," he grins, opening the nightstand drawer and pulling out a box.
I open it to see a shiny silver heart necklace.
"Thank you! It's so beautiful," I walk over to him.
He puts it on me and I kiss him.
"Are you hungry?" I ask.
"A little," he admits.
The doorbell rings.
"Ezra's here," I grin.
I open up the door to see his smiling face. He wheels himself inside.
"Thanks for agreeing to take care of me Jo," Ezra smiles.
"Anything for you," I carefully hug him.
"What up bitch!" I hear Ricky yell, causing me to giggle.
"Nothin ho!" Ezra shouts back.
I shake my head but laugh. I help Ezra on the couch.
"Do you have to be on bed rest?" I ask.
"Nope," he smirks.
"Good, because I need to run and grab a few things. Make sure Ricky doesn't do anything stupid," I say.
"You can count on me," he smirks.
"Ricky I'm going to do a few errands. Stay in bed!" I yell.
"I love you!" he shouts.
"I love you too!" I shout back.
I get in my car and drive to target. I use some of my $50 giftcard I got from Chase to buy two bed trays, a Kit-kat, and a hershey bar.
I head home and take the stuff inside. I come inside to see Ricky and Ezra on the couch playing Minecraft on the Xbox.
"Ricky Michael Johnson! How did you get on the couch?!" I ask.
"Ezra helped me," he says.
"Ezra is in a wheelchair!" I fume.
"Calm the fuck down," Ricky says.
I throw the bed trays on the floor and I throw the hershey bar at Ricky's head, hitting him in the nose. I drop the Kit-kat and run to my car.
I pick up my phone and dial Luke's number.
"Hey Jo," Luke answers.
"Luke," I say, my voice shaky.
"What's wrong?" he asks.
I tell him what happened.
"I know you were right, but Ricky probably thinks you're just being too bossy," Luke comforts me a little.
"I'm just worried. The nurse said he could transition from the bed to the couch with my help, not from a guy in a wheelchair!" I frown.
"I know Jo, I know," Luke says.
"I'm going to make dinner, I'll see you later," I frown.
I hang up and walk inside. I don't look at either of them and head straight for the kitchen. I make myself some soup and eat it at the dinner table.
"Jo!" Ricky calls.
I roll my eyes and walk to where he is.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Can you help me to the bed?" he asks.
I help him up and help him into his bed. I start to stand back up but he pulls me down in a hug.
"I'm sorry Jo," he says.
I don't look at him but I burst into tears.
"Baby don't cry," he smooths my hair.
"What you said hurt," I admit.
"I know, but I didn't mean it," he looks at me with sadness in his eyes.
"I believe you," I smile.
He kisses me and bites my lower lip. I keep myself from letting out a moan as he sticks his tongue in my mouth.
I pull back and giggle.
"What do you want for dinner?" I ask.
"Soup," he smiles.
I ask Ezra and he wants Ramen noodles.
I fix dinner for both of them and put it on their trays.
"Thank you," Ezra smiles.
"Do you wanna sleep on the couch or in the guest bedroom?" I ask him.
"I'm fine right here," he grins.
I take Ricky his food and he kisses my cheek.
"Thank you," he smiles.
"No problem," I grin.
