Meeting:
You met Muichiro after you ranked up from Kinoe to Pillar. All pillars were there for your moving up ceremony, [idk if there is one but there is for the sake of this story]

"We are gathered here today to honor and witness the moving up of Y/n L/n. She/He has worked extremely hard to rank up from the very beginning and all the way up to a Pillar." Kagaya said.
You were bowing down in front of him, waiting to officially be named a Pillar. The other Pillars were behind you, sitting on their knees.
"I hereby pronounce you, a brand new Pillar." Kagaya finished.
Everyone began to clap behind you, some chanted your name and by someone, I mean Shinobu and Mitsuri and them only. Once the ceremony was over, everyone planned to go out to eat in honor of your success. A few people came up to you and congratulated you.
"Huh?" Someone tapped you on the shoulder.
"Oh hey, Muichiro-kun!" You greeted the Mist Pillar.
"Congratulations on moving up." He said in his usual monotone voice.
"Thanks, you too!" You cheerfully said.
Wait. You too? Muichiro stayed silent while you face palmed internally.
"Gosh! I'm so sorry!" You apologized for the response.
"No worries." Muichiro responded with a blank face.
What a way to meet huh? Hopefully he doesn't dislike you for your awkwardness.
First Thoughts:
"Awkward I see, but they're not too bad."
Realizing Their Feelings:
You both had been sent on a mission together. You both had been injured pretty badly, however, you persevered and eventually succeeded which amazed Muichiro.

"Come on!" You yelled behind you at Muichiro.
He was extremely exhausted and so were you. At the moment, you were both running away from a group of six demons. You both had bad injuries. You managed to slip into an alley without the demons noticing.
"Over here!" You whispered to Muichiro.
He nodded and ran to you. Once you were with one another, you went inside a nearby abandoned building and sat down to catch your breaths. You looked at Muichiro's injuries and tore a bit of cloth from your haori. You walked to him and began to wrap his arm - where the injury was, with your cloth. He blushed at your actions.
"Thanks." He said, looking away.
You smiled and began to tend to your wounds. It was silent and Muichiro was watching you and admiring you. His cheeks were slightly red. The building you guys were in was silent. Only the sounds of breathing were present. The quiet was interrupted though by the sounds of violent growling. Your head snapped up to the sounds and you quickly got in front of Muichiro to protect him. You unsheathed your sword and breathed heavily. Once the demons got close enough you beheaded them all swiftly with one motion. By the end of it all, you were panting and sweating. Muichiro quickly went to your side.
"Are you okay?!" He asked.
You smiled weakly and nodded. Muichiro's blush appeared again and it was bigger this time.
"She's/He's so strong despite being awkward," He thought.
"I think I like them." He smiled a bit.
Confessing:
You were eating lunch with your friend, Mitsuri when Muichiro appeared and asked to talk to you.

"A-And then, he came in and sliced the demons neck!" Mitsuri cheered.
You chuckled at her excitement.
"That's cool, what did Iguro-kun do next?" You asked the Love Pillar.
"Well, he came up to me and-" Mitsuri was cut off by Muichiro who cleared his throat.
You turned around and smiled.
"Hey, Muichiro-kun!" You greeted.
He waved and walked closer to you.
"Do you mind if I talk to you alone?"
"Not at all," You looked at Mitsuri.
"I'll be back in a bit." You said.
She nodded and you stood up from your seat. You followed Muichiro to a hallway where he stopped so you stopped as well.
"There is something I've wanted to tell you." Muichiro said in his monotone voice.
"Go on." You said, curious as to what he meant.
"I-I...like you. I've liked you for quite a while." Muichiro confessed, looking at the ground with a blush.
Your eyes widened in shock. Was he serious?
"I...like you too." You said with a blush.
Muichiro's head shot up and he looked at you.
"Really?!" His voice laced with more emotion.
You looked at him and chuckled.
"Of course." You smiled and hugged him.
He hesitated but he hugged you back eventually.
"So, will you be my partner?" Muichiro asked.
"Of course." You smiled.

"Oof!" You face planted onto a bed in the Butterfly Estate.
"You can make yourself comfortable while I go grab the things needed, okay?" Aoi said.
You gave a thumbs up, too weak to speak actual words. You heard the door open and close, signaling Aoi's presence being gone. You sighed and tried to get more comfortable, not hearing the door open and close again.
"Wonder what Ichi's doing." You thought aloud.
"I came to visit you if that answers your question." You heard a monotone voice say.
You flinched and looked towards the voice. It was Muichiro.
"Oh I'm sorry, did I scare you?" Muichiro asked with a slightly concerned face.
"Yeah, a bit." You smiled.
"How are you feeling?"
"I feel like a burnt chicken nugget." Were your thoughts.
"I feel pretty sore." Was your actual response.
"What can I do to help?" Muichiro asked.
"Well uh...I don't really know but thanks for asking." You smiled.
Suddenly, you felt a pair of lips on yours. Muichiro was kissing you. He pulled away after a bit and asked,
"Did that help?"
You nodded slowly with a massive blush. Muichiro chuckled.
"I'm glad."
When They Get Drunk:
He'd be happy and cheerful, most likely.

"Awkwactopus!" Muichiro would smile.
You would wave awkwardly and Muichiro would just run over to you, giggle and then hug the soul out of you.

Misunderstood:

You planned to go to the Butterfly Estate to help Aoi and the others with household chores and whatnot. However, on your way there you saw a woman very close to Muichiro who looked uncomfortable, unbeknownst to you at least. You were about to smack the soul out of the woman when she suddenly leaned in and kissed Muichiro.
"I-Ichi!" You yelled.
You began to run towards the two people. Muichiro managed to get the woman off of him.
"What was that!?" You asked as your voice cracked a bit.
"It was forced, I was able to get her off though!" Muichiro responded, glaring at the woman.
You glared at the woman as well.
"You're a whole damn adult and you kissed a 14 year old! And a Pillar no less!" You yelled. [Let's say you're like 14 too (⟃ ͜ʖ ⟄) so that this is less awkward.]
"Well, I apologize for my actions." The woman said sarcastically.
You got more angry. You walked over to her and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt.
"If I ever see you do this again, you will regret ever being born. Got it?" You gave the woman a hard glare.
She began to tremble with fear and she hastily nodded. Once you let her go, she dashed away. You turned to Muichiro.
"Are you okay?" You asked.
He nodded.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen." He sighed.
You smiled a little.
"It's okay. I understand."
Dead Partner Prank:
It ended as soon as it started. He somehow managed to get inside your home without you seeing or hearing him so you spent a whole day laying on the ground with fake blood but eventually you got up and found him.
"Maybe he went on a mission?" You thought to yourself.
The fake blood began to get sticky so you decided to get up and take a shower. When you walked into your room to get a towel however, you saw Muichiro sitting on the edge of your bed.
"Did the fake blood get sticky?" He asked with a small grin.
"Yeah- YOU WERE HERE THE WHOLE TIME?!" You asked, your blood slightly boiling for waiting such a long time.
Muichiro chuckled and nodded. You proceeded to tackle him. After a few minutes of silence, Muichiro spoke up.
"Can you get off of me, please? You're heavy." He bluntly stated.
You looked at him wide eyed.
"Excuse the sh•t out of my goddamn French, but did you just insult my weight?" You asked.
"Oh crap."
First Date Locations:
C̤̈ö̤n̤̈ẗ̤ë̤ẍ̤ẗ̤: Y'all were busy with missions or he was the one busy with missions so you didn't have time to go on an offical first date.

You guys walked and had a picnic at a quiet, nearby park.
First Argument:
You'd been feeling a bit insecure recently [if you really are feeling insecure, please know that you are a great person, talk to someone if anything bothers you, and know that everyone has flaws yet there can be amazing people out there just like yourself ♡]
The fact that Muichiro had been sent on several missions with the most attractive Pillars made it worse though.

Oh crud. Another one. Another mission with one of the good looking Pillars.
"Why?!" You cried.
You felt as though the more time Muichiro spent with the those Pillars, the more flaws he'd notice in you. I mean, the Pillars were gorgeous and they were kind people. They would never betray your trust. But that still didn't change the fact that you felt like a worm compared to them.
"Look at them! They look better than me!" You silently cried in your home as you had your knees up against your chest, your face buried in them and your arms around them.
Suddenly, the door to your home opened. Muichiro must have been done with the mission already.
"Y/n?" Muichiro called out.
Your tears still wouldn't cease. Footsteps were heard approaching your room and the door was then opened.
"Y-Y/n!" Muichiro was by your side as soon as he saw you crying.
"G-Get away from...me." You mumbled.
"W-What? Are you okay?" Muichiro asked while gripping your shoulders.
Your head shot up and you glared at Muichiro.
"Leave me alone! Please." You whispered the last part.
Muichiro was shocked at your outburst.
"But-"
"GET OUT! You might as well go with Uzui or Mitsuri!" Tears were now gliding down your cheeks like a waterfall.
Muichiro got a bit aggravated and offended when he realized you thought he would sink as low as to cheat on you with the other Pillars.
"Fine." He growled and left.
You were now the only resident in the house. A resident with non-stopping tears.
Argument Aftermath:
Muichiro felt like a jerk. He didn't realize you were feeling insecure and needed comforting until he was far away from you. He cried at one point and all he wanted to do was go hug you but he figured you wanted to be alone after what happened.
Apologizing:
Muichiro knocked on your door but he got no answer. He knocked again but still no answer so he kept knocking.
"Ugh." You groaned.
You decided to finally get up and open the door. You looked through the peephole and it was Muichiro! •O• You hesitated to open it but eventually you gave in.
"What is it?" You asked.
"I wanted to apologize for not...comforting you when you felt insecure. I realize that leaving you alone was probably not that great of an idea and I should've been there-"
"It's fine," You cut him off.
"I did yell at you so I should also apologize for that. I'm sorry." You said, making eye contact with Muichiro.
Muichiro nodded and looked away. There was an awkward tension between you two that sprouted now after the apologies. You smiled a bit and gave Muichiro a hug to try to make the tension go away. Muichiro stiffened at the hug but eventually hugged you back.
"You hungry? I can make you something if you'd like." You offered after you pulled away from the hug.
Muichiro's eyes lightened up and he nodded like an excited child. You chuckled.
"Come on in then."
Walking In On You:
C̤̈ö̤n̤̈ẗ̤ë̤ẍ̤ẗ̤: He accidentally walked in on you...changing. I know it's cliche but like, this wouldn't hurt...right?
Muichiro just closed the door before you even noticed him.

"Y/n, can I grab some pringles from your pantr-"
Muichiro's eyes widened at what he walked into. Immediately, he closed the door.
"Huh?" You turned around but didn't see anything - or anyone. You shrugged the sound off and continued to get dressed.
"That was a close call." Muichiro sighed.
They Have A Nightmare:
You ate all the pringles. [I'm gonna try to make the nightmares not so....bad/harsh?]

Muichiro had decided to go into your kitchen to look for a snack. When he went into your pantry, he couldn't find any of the snacks he wanted.
"Pringles could do." He thought to himself. [im sorry, im high rn]
However, when he tried looking for his pringles, he couldn't find them.
"Y/n! Where are the pringles?" He called out to you.
"Oh! I ate them al-"
"You did what?!" Muichiro was right in front of you now, gripping your shoulders tightly.
"You are gonna go buy me some right now before I go completely ape-sh•t, got it?" He was staring intensely into your eyes.
"How about...no?"
And then, ya boi woke up. He was laying with you on your bed since he didn't have any missions for the day. He looked over at you, you were sleeping peacefully and he decided to change that. He shook your shoulders until you woke up.
"What is i-"
"Did you eat all the pringles?"
"No?" You looked extremely confused because you were.
"Thank god." Muichiro sighed.
They Get Injured:
He'd take care of it before you even knew about it.

Muichiro was exhausted. The recent mission did not go as planned and thus there were many casualties.
"I-I...didn't expect to almost be killed." Muichiro breathed out.
He was almost killed by a demon but managed to get out of it's sight. Now, he was limping to the Butterfly Estate. Once there, he was treated and then he went back to your home.
"Welcome back, how'd the mission go?" You asked Muichiro once he stepped inside your residence.
"It was exhausting." He replied as he face planted onto a couch.
You chuckled.
"Go rest, come on," You helped Muichiro into your bedroom and onto your bed.
"Rest well." You smiled as Muichiro fell into a comfortable, well-deserved slumber.
They're Clingy:
"Awkwactopus!" Muichiro chanted.
You hummed in response.
"I need pringles! [I don't know why this is a reoccurring theme-] Oh, and hugs!" Muichiro smiled.
You chuckled and went to your pantry [how many times have I written "pantry"-] and you got out a can of pringles.
"Here." You tossed him the can and then you sat next to him, putting your head on his shoulder.
Muichiro couldn't be any happier. He cuddled with you after he finished them pringles.
They're Sick:
He wouldn't show it, even if he's feeling really crappy.

Muichiro had been staying in bed a lot. Although he wouldn't show his sickness, he would still stay in bed if necessary.
"Hey are you okay? You've been in bed all day." You said.
"I'm sick." Muichiro responded with a groggy voice.
"Would you like anything?" You asked.
"Soup." Muichiro responded.
You smiled and nodded.
"I'll be back then."
They Act Cute:
He was sleeping on a pillow you'd gotten him recently and it was fuccing adorable.

"Holy mother of pringles!" You were trying extremely hard not too squeal.
Muichiro looked so peaceful while sleeping and...he looked adorable.
"I better capture this moment." You thought to yourself.
You got out your phone and took a picture.

You turned to Muichiro who was on the couch with you. You guys were watching f/s and an ad came on talking about....banks n' financial stuff. Then, Muichiro thought of that line. You, being yourself, made the situation a bit awkward.
"No, I'm not a bank loan. I'm a person."
Everything became silent, except for the television.
"That's not...the point." Muichiro said.
"What was the point then?"
"It was just...nevermind." Muichiro mumbled, with a small blush on his face.
You decided not to bother him about it anymore.
"Okay."
Reader Turns Into A Demon:
He froze completely. Someone else had to end your life. After you were killed, he broke down completely.

"Oyakata-sama, you needed me?" Muichiro had been called by Kagaya to come.
He was sitting on his knees in front of Kagaya.
"Yes. I'm afraid something happened to Y/n." Kagaya said.
Muichiro's head shot up.
"
W-What happened?" He asked, trying to mask the shakiness in his voice.
"She/he was turned into a demon by, we believe, Muzan Kibutsuji." Kagaya replied in a calm voice.
Muichiro froze.
"W-Where is she/he now?"
"We locked her/him into a room until you could come. We decided that you should be the one to end her/his suffering." Kagaya said.
Muichiro began to breathe heavily, sweat began to form on his forehead. He began to feel sick.
"I-....I don't think I can." He finally managed to say.
Kagaya nodded in understandment.
"Very well, I'll have someone else take care of her/him. Would you like to see her/him one last time at least?" Kagaya asked with sympathy.
Muichiro hesitated to respond. Eventually, he shook his head, indicating that he didn't want to see you. Kagaya nodded and said,
"You may leave then." Before walking away.
Once Kagaya was nowhere to be seen, Muichiro broke down. Tears glided down his cheeks over and over again. To think that the love of his life was gone, ruined him. He would never be the same again.
