On Friday night, Jessica sat with the other singers. Nick came in with his parents and sat down. Ashley, Alex, Melanie, and Kyle came in and sat with Nick. Brian came in with his date and sat down. Everyone stood up and cheered and clapped. Jessica waved to everyone and got offstage and went to Nick and hugged him. He buried his face in her neck.

"Jess, I have a surprise for you, baby," Nick said.
"What is it?" Jessica asked.
"I signed up to sing a song to you," Nick said.
"Really?" Jessica said.
"Yeah, but Brian's a better singer so he's singing it for me," Nick said. She saw Brian onstage.
"Hello everyone, this song is dedicated to Jessica Parker from her boyfriend, Nick Lewis, I'm singing it but the words are from him, it's all him, Jess," Brian said. He started singing.
