Chapter 6: Where's My Hair Gel?
(ROCKYS POV)
Pushing a hand through my hair, I gazed at my reflexion in the bathroom Mirror. The dinner was in 5 minutes. My makeup was immaculate, my casual-but-fancy dress was perfect. But the problem was, I didn't feel pretty. I never felt pretty-I always only felt average.
Giving a shrug, i open the door and paraded outside to meet Kass, who was waiting for me. Kass let out a low whistle.
"Hot da-yum! Gal, if Colton was here, he'd be drooling." Kass squealed. I bit my lip, giving a nervous smile. My boyfriend, Colton, never really spoke to me any more. The last I had seen him, he had been kissing some redhead chick on a barstool at a club when he thought I wasn't looking. He knew I had seen it though, and when I ran out in tears he never apologized. I don't think he's much of a boyfriend at all, but I can't bring myself to let him go. I guess-we've had so many good times, he used to make me so happy.
"Yeah." I muttered, no believing what she was saying.
"No kidding girl, you look HOT!" Kass squeaked, nudging my shoulder. I shrugged and gave her a once-over.
"Right back at ya." I smiled. We entered the restaurant doors and saw everyone had already showed up.
"Hi!" Kass and i greeted everyone cheerily-I wasn't in the best mood, but not my worst either.
"Take a seat." Justin said encouragingly. We sat down, I was across from Niall and next to Liam, while Kass was across from Harry and in between Louis and Zayn. Halfway through dinner, Niall had put me in a great mood.
He had cracked the funniest jokes ever, and had me slapping my knees in a hysterical laughing fit. Nothing could ruin my good mood-or so I thought.
