the police.
so this happened to me like a year and a half ago.
when i was a freshman in college, in my second semester, i was eighteen years old. and so, i would volunteer at the local elementary on tuesdays and thursdays.
i was on my way there, the school is literally four blocks from my house so i could easily walk there, when a cop car seriously stopped in the middle of the street, the cop got out of his squad car, and he approached me.
i kid you not i was just about shitting myself.
i didn't know what i did wrong cause he like practically ran in my direction.
he was blonde, blue eyed, young, tall and handsome. for those of you who know me, you know these are my type of guys.
everyone has their preferences okay?
so he was like "HEY!" in his loud ass voice.
and i turned and i pointed to myself. "me?"
he nodded, "shouldn't you be in school?"
my face instantly contorted in confusion. cause wtf. so i said, "uh...my classes don't start until 11."
and he like smirked like he didn't believe me, even though i was WEARING A FUCKING UNIVERSITY CREWNECK WITH A UNIVERSITY LANYARD AROUND MY FUCKING NECK. and he was like, "oh really? and which school is this?"
and still confused i replied, "mount st. mary's college..." so i grabbed my lanyard that has my college ID hanging from it and i showed it to him.
so then he felt like a dick.
"oh." was all he said. he walked back to his squad car and coughed awkwardly. "how old are you?"
"eighteen." i said.
"right." he told me. "okay, well...you may go now."
and then he kind of sped off.
it was kinda scary then, but now i remember and find it kinda funny. like he actually thought i was a high school student skipping class or something. i bet that bitch was so fucking ready to arrest me. he was such a good looking cop though.
