let me tell you one thing that annoys me (but it also makes life more interesting) about my school.
it is a catholic private university and we have two campuses. one is on the mountains, overlooking santa monica and the beach. the other is in the heart of los angeles. oh, and its an all girls university.
both are picturesque locations, which makes them desireable for films and tv shows.
in my three years at that school, i have seen all kinds of famous people.
they have gone to film stuff for;
-modern family.
-the mentalist.
-a music video for pentatonix.
-a music video for 'instant crush' by daft punk ft. julian casablancas was filmed at my school's mansion, which is the most beautiful place you will ever see.
-a music video for will.i.am or something like that, i can't remember perfectly.
-90210.
-how to get away with murder.
and countless other shit.
and its pretty uncomfortable sometimes. cause they had their camaras and stuff set up by the fountain, which is in the middle of the school, so everything was blocked and i had to take alternate paths on my way to class and i was late. and i couldn't just be like, "oh sorry professor. i was late cause the guys from 90210 were blocking the way."
then there was the fact that they eat in our caf. i wouldn't mind them there if it wasn't for the fact that the place gets crowded with students trying to catch a glimpse of them. one of the guys from 90210 was nice. i don't watch the show, so i don't know what his name was or whatever. but i was complaining to myself that because of them i wasn't able to get some lunch. and it was 1pm and i wouldnt get to eat again until i could get home at 7pm.
so he heard me, and i swear i thought i was alone. so he said they had a private dining room reserved for the cast and i could go get some food.
but i said no cause that would have been super awkward.
so i left and got something from the vending machines.
anyway.
it DOES make days pretty interesting cause the actors are always super nice and friendly and they always try to make conversation with the students. they're pretty chill and they hang around after filming ends and they sign stuff and take pictures with you.
but it also gets rather stressful.
so yeah.
