Zoe watched Kaden from across the cafeteria. Her face fell into a frown letting her insecurities get the best of her.
Kaden was surrounded by friends and student. Hot and popular students might I add.
Zoella wasn't popular but wasn't a loser. She was basically the token black girl at this school. Basically everyone knows her but she only had one real friend which was Ruby.
"If you stare long enough he might think your crazy." Ruby laughed at Zoella's drooling. But on the inside Ruby couldn't help but drool herself.
"Yeah, right. I'm invisible to him." Zoella sighed
"And to that I say just make yourself known."
"How am I supposed to do that?"
"Well....lloeza you could always put that nickname to good use."
"I'm not using him for popularity!!!"
"Well, you have to do something before he begins to think your some old weirdo who likes some white boy booty." Ruby said , "listen.....kaden is a smart boy. Give him some clues."
"I can't....what if he doesn't like black girls?" Zoella asked jumping to conclusions
"Listen just grow some balls. Tell him the partial truth." Ruby said elbowing the glum Zoella
"Meaning?" Zoella asked
"You could tell him that you want to see him irl and if he gets skeptical then just say you were too shy." Ruby explains

Kaden laid down on the bed staring at his phone. He looked at the school mutual app. School mutual. An app where you talk to students from your school. Without knowing there true identity.
The reason for the app was because of some comfortability thing. So students could make friends with each other faster.
His phone made that specific dinging noise that only 'school mutual' notifications could make. He jumped up out of his bed checking his phone.
'I think I'm ready to reveal my self too you.'
Kaden smiled jumping on his bed into a sitting position. His pearly yet veiny fingers tapped on the keyboard quickly.
'REALLY!!!? :o'
'Yes'
'But let me make something clear'
'Don't be disappointed with what you see.'
'stop procrastinating and show yourself, pwease?🥺'
'Nuh-uh your not getting it that easily. You gotta work for it.😏'

The next day Kaden couldn't help but give everyone a weird glance. In the swarm of students at this school anyone, well any girl, could be her.
'I'm a sophomore same as you.'
'Oh come on. I need more.'
'Fine, I like reading books.'
'Ha, nerd. But any way I need more than that.'
'Chorus and a failed attempt at volleyball😅.'

"Hey Britney your in chorus right?"
"Um yeah, why?", Britney blushed looking up at the 6'1 man in front of her, "would you like to join?"
"Oh, hell no." Kaden said "Can I have the attendance list?"
"Erm, I don't know if I'm allowed to."
"Please, come on", he begged her, " I'll give you Kyle S. number."
"Deal!!." She smiled, " I'll text you the copy."
"Thanks, Brit." He smiled walking away.
Ruby and Zoella hid there faces behind books as they watched him walk past them. He side eyed them for a second before walking away.
As soon as they heard his footsteps get farther they let out a breathe in relief.
"I'm not even the one he is looking for and I'm nervous for you." Ruby said
"Did you see how he looked at us like we were weirdos? See I knew we shouldn't have done this." Zoella slouched down
"Chill out. He has been side-eyeing everyone today. He is obviously just suspicious." Ruby watched as Zoella paced back and forth

'You looked cute in the chorus room.🥵'
'Um....stalker, much?'
'Not really. You probably knew I was lurking in the shadows.'
'I had a gut feeling.' Kaden smile smugly, 'Not going to lie this is pretty easy. One step closer.'
'Must be nice being popular. That's the only reason you got so far😒.'

'What's that supposed to mean?'
'Nothing. Are you ready for your second dose of hints?'

'I'm somewhere around 5'5 and 5'7.'

'You don't even know exactly how tall I am!!! And your a FREAKING GIANT so everything is small to you.'

'I really hope you referring to the school bell.😑'

"You know being invisible does has its perks." Zoella said to ruby as they sat in the library, "it makes this all the more fun to watch him go on a goose chase."
"You would think he'd notice by now that lloeza is just zoella rearranged." Ruby laughed
"Poor thing." They moved one of the books from the shelf giving them A perfect view. They watched as Kaden talked to a group of drooling cheerleaders.
"You would think he would know not to ask the cheerleaders." Zoella giggled at him, "They are way to absorbed into themselves to focus on us." Zoella sat back on the carpet floor
"What do you think he is going to do when he sees you?" Ruby said still watching him
"I don't know but I hope it's good." She said moving away from the bookshelf.
"Well.....if you ever chicken out you could always pretend it's not you." Ruby said staring out the book peephole biting her lip, "I mean like you said 'your the last thing he would expect'."
"Opposites attract.", Zoe looked in the at herself on her phone, "right?" Zoe felt a wave insecurity.

'It was smart of you to check the library...' Lloeza explained 'But you shouldn't have asked cheerleaders.'
'Yeah. That was a mistake on my part.'
'So.....does that mean you were at the library?'
'Yes, but trust me. I was like a ninja.'
'I'll be the judge of that.'
'Wanna make a bet?'
'Yes, I love them.'
'If you find me by the end of this week. I get to dunk on you.'

"Man. I got to tell you I feel like cinderella right now?" she sighed smiling holding her book against her chest, " It's just as complicated and dramatic but I wouldn't have it any other way."
"except the evil step-sister." Ruby added
"Yeah, and instead I have a supportive best friend." she hugged ruby making her playfully grimace, "And I also wouldn't have you any other way."
"So do you think he is going to find you?"
" yeah, that 5'5- 5'7 thing was a good idea i'm so glad you gave me it."
"Yeah, I'm 5'5 and your 5'7. considering we're kind of polar opposites that should be a pretty good height span." Ruby reasoned
"I'm glad, I discuss almost everything with you about 'SchoolMutual' because I could not handle all this boy trouble alone."
"hey no need to thank me. I would have been mad if you hogged all that boy drama to yourself." Ruby said smirking weirdly

Kaden played in at the school basketball court outside all in his lonesome. He heard the tapping of feet behind him making him stop and turn around.
"I wanted to make things easy for you so here I am." A feminine voice said making him turn around
"Huh?" He stared at her with confusion, "l-Lloeza?"
"Yeah, it's me."
Kaden dropped the basket ball in awe walking slowly in front of her. She smiled shyly and walked slowly up to him.
"So.....your 5'5 huh?....cute."
"Shut up." She pouted smacking his arm playfully
"So", he leaned down towards her with a smirk, "I guess I won the bet,huh?"
"I guess you did." She smiled grabbing his face, "Oh, and call me Ruby, You have made me hate Lloeza SO much."
"Whatever you say." He said before sharing a kiss with Ruby.
