They say most of your brain shuts down in Cryosleep.... not mine mine stays awake I SEE everything, I HEAR everything, I FEEL everything, I SMELL everything, at times I TASTE everything.... depending on what's in the air you know those "smells so strong you can taste them" kinda thing.... and I KEEP MY EYES OPEN.... I blame my lack of trust in humans I don't even know what made me do a stupid thing like this take a ride on a ship full of PEOPLE but I NEEDED to get off the planet I was on I was gaining to much attention all the WRONG kind of attention from far to many ASSHOLES who THINK they are men..... I usually sneak aboard cargo ships that have a limited amount of people on it just junk and the crew paid to fly it where it needed to go.... I didn't care WHERE I went I LOVE seeing new places I also like being left alone and have always preferred animals to people..... I also got along better with animals over people ESPECIALLY the "dangerous" ones, the SURVIVORS.... luckily on this ship that I'm on now I was able to gain a Cryo Chamber in the furthest end of the ship.... which might not have been my smartest idea now that I have to go through this SHIT.... whoever is the captain of this ship is he.... or she is TERRIBLE at their job..... why did I even let them PUT me in this STUPID thing!?!.... I shut off everyone's voices as soon as I heard them..... though the Arab man sounded nice.... there was a scent I kept smelling a scent that stayed with me, SURROUNDED me strong, masculine, GOD there is no proper way to describe his scent but it is one of the sexiest scents I have EVER smelled and I wondered about the animal it belonged too and hoped to meet him which is something I have NEVER wanted to do before.... I remember hearing something that sounded like gunshots going through the hull of the ship and into one of the Cryo Tanks.... not HIS thank the Stars.... there was the sound of a woman grunting as her tank opened and she jumped out.... or fell who's to say.... there was another sound of someone else jump/falling out of his tank next thing I remember is heat.... the feeling of scorching heat as we hit the atmosphere of some planet the crunching sound of the long fat ship falling apart as it speeds closer to the planet itself then the purge.... the sense of falling into a never ending abyss as half the ship disintegrated and my tiny claustrophobic prison flew back with it I didn't care I knew I would survive I ALWAYS survive.... the bare desert of a planet was beautiful in its own way and it had three suns which in itself might be a bad thing for a world without darkness is dangerous.... I knew that if I had any hope of getting off this planet and finding a more "livable" one I had to go in search of whatever was left of the ship or hope that there was another one somewhere..... which I doubted.... I punched my way through the door of my prison breaking it open the door flies high up into the air as I sit up and grip the edges of the door frame then push myself up and out of it then begin my trek following the trail of debris towards wherever the ship landed and that's how I met HIM.... bald, muscular with eyes like the Milky Way Galaxy his animal side completely awake as he attacks without thinking and I block every move he makes which makes me wonder if he's testing me but instead of anger for the first time in my life I felt AROUSED by him, his movements, his scent, his eyes.... I had pulled his goggles of mid fight.... which are one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and I have seen many beautiful things.... he tilts his head at me curiously then he spoke oh my God what a voice a deep huskily sexy sensually smokey tone "who are you!?!" I reply pointing to the trail behind me "lost and not so precious cargo" he lets out a short soft chuckle "I am known as Rieka" I tell him "Riddick" he replies with a raised eyebrow "so.... do you greet everyone like that or am I just special!?!.... not that I mind I needed a good workout after just about breaking my fists opening the door to the Cryo Chamber" I ask he laughs I hand him back his goggles with a smile he seemed to not even realize they were off for he looked at me in surprise as he takes them and puts them back on "sorry I believe in looking your opponent in the eyes when you fight and I couldn't see them behind those" I tell him he smiles I kneel down and place my hand on the ground sliding it along the sand "do you feel that!?!" I ask he looks at me oddly then copies my movements and asks "what is it I should be feeling!?!" I reply "we're too far away from the rest of the ship's people so something must live down here.... lots of somethings!.... they move quick which makes little tremors within the sand I've always believed a world without darkness is a dangerous thing but this might be just as or perhaps even more so after all.... why haven't they come to the surface!?!" he looks up at me "I suppose we should be on our merry little way.... you having a little fun with the crew or do you actually care about those left behind?!" I ask he smiles I start walking towards the ship and he follows....
When Rieka hears young boys speak in Arabic she takes Riddick's hand and pulls him inside the rib-cage looking set of bones his eyes widen at first then he smiles as he walks backwards not letting his eyes leave hers which was a mistake for he ended up tripping then falling backwards taking her down with him he lays flat upon the piece of bone he fell on and grips her arms just above her wrists which she used to hold herself above him so that she didn't lay flat on top of him as they listen to the footfalls are coming towards them "ugh what is that stench!?!" she whispers making a face of disgust as a man passes by them he chuckles softly then whispers in reply "William J. Johns Bounty Hunter extraordinaire!" he lets go of her arm then turns to his side and stands up they both continue moving along inside the bone structure of the unknown animal then stop once they catch the scent of much prettier more feminine smell that enters the vicinity on the other side Rieka watches Riddick get up close and personal with the other female but stays out of her sight as the woman stops checks her breathing apparatus and takes a few puffs "jealous!?!" Riddick teases as he looks at Rieka with a smirk "of a complete stranger!?!.... why would I be jealous of someone I don't even know!?! it's not like we're close or anything.... I hate humans!" Rieka replies his eyebrow raises "go back to your flirting I'll just stand here and watch!" she says he chuckles he takes a bone dagger out of it's sheath as someone else approaches the man with the scent Rieka didn't like "drink?" Johns asks the other female that was now leaning up against the bones as he hands a bottle over to her "probably shouldn't do this dehydrates you even more" the woman replies as she takes the bottle from him opens it up then takes a swig of it "you're probably right" Johns replies with a slight chuckle in his tone as he kneels beside the woman "you could have stayed back at the ship probably should've if we don't find water, you know what happens" he says "I wanted to get away" the woman replies "I've never seen a captain so ready to leave her ship" Johns says "I think we should keep moving" the woman replies as she straightens "what did Owens mean.... about not touching the handle?" Johns asks there was a small pause then Johns says as he stands up "this is between you and me, Carolyn I promise" Riddick gets even closer to the bones but still stays out of sight "I'm not your captain during the landing when.... things were at their worst, Owens was at his best he's the one that stopped the docking pilot from dumping the main cabin the passengers" Carolyn replies as she once again leans up against the bones Riddick raises his bone dagger "fear.... putting your own life ahead of all others.... rookie mistakes!.... letting your emotions get the better of you making you not "think clearly" and I think you're the one who's crushin not me Rid!" Rieka whispers Riddick looks at her with a raised eyebrow "and the docking pilot being?" Johns asks Carolyn looks at him Riddick slid his dagger through the bones and snips off a small bit of Carolyn's hair "see totally crushin!" Rieka teases with a smile as Riddick sniff the piece of hair he cut off then kisses it "I guess I'm a little more glad to be here than I thought" Johns says to Carolyn as he puts his hat on her head as Carolyn and Johns walk away Riddick blows on the snippet of hair letting it fall out of his hand "so why don't you like humans?!" he asks Rieka shrugs he chuckles then they walk out of the bones and continue on their way towards the ship "you don't mind me calling you Rid do you!?!" she asks as they walk "I didn't say anything did I!?!" he asks "I'm only asking just in case it happens again.... I'm not even sure why I did it it just.... slipped out!" she says he chuckles....
Rieka ended up walking into an abandoned geological research settlement where she finds a solar powered water well and she works on getting it working again by the time those from the ship find it she was gone Riddick on the other hand continued on his way towards the ship so he could have a little fun with those still there what he wasn't counting on was being blamed for the death of one of the passengers.... "Rid!?!.... Rid!!" Riddick hears Rieka call out he could have sworn he heard concern for him in her soft sensual sultry tone he sees her rush into the ship where he was once again tied up their eyes meet and he smiles at her then she backs away into the darkness of the ship once they hear footfalls approach "so, where's the body?" Rieka hears Carolyn ask the woman waits for an answer and when she gets no reply she says "well, do you want to tell me about the sounds? look, you told Johns you heard something that's fine you don't want to talk to me, that's your choice but, just so you know.... there's a debate right now as to whether we should just leave you here to die" Rieka whispers to herself as Carolyn starts to walk away "sounds like fun!" and she could have sworn she heard Riddick's now familiar soft chuckle then she hears Riddick ask Carolyn "you mean the whispers?" and Carolyn stops walking turns around and slowly walks towards him then ask in a whispered voice "what whispers?" Riddick replies "the ones telling me to go for the sweet spot just to the left of the spine fourth lumbar down the abdominal aorta it's a metallic taste, human blood copperish if you cut it with peppermint schnapps, that goes away...." Carolyn asks "do you want to shock me with the truth now?" Riddick replies "all you people are so scared of me.... well all but one.... most days, I take that as a compliment but it ain't me you got to worry about now.... or her" he says "all but one" and "or her" in a tone so low that Carolyn can't hear but Rieka can "show me your eyes Riddick" Carolyn says "you'd have to come a lot closer for that" Riddick replies Carolyn takes a few steps closer to Riddick with a fearful soft breath then stops "closer" Riddick says Carolyn takes a few more steps closer then jumps back as Riddick stands up and stares at her then Rieka hears another voice ask "where the hell can I get eyes like that?" and Riddick reply "gotta kill a few people" the teenager says as she.... uh.... he walks in closer "okay I can do it" as Rieka whispers "be careful of those young impressionable minds Rid" Riddick say to the kid "then you gotta get sent to a slam where they say you'll never see daylight again you dig up a doctor and you pay him 20 menthol Kools.... to do a surgical shine job on your eyeballs" the kid replies "so you can see who's sneaking up on you in the dark?" Riddick says "exactly" Carolyn orders the kid in a loud voice to "leave!" Rieka whispers with a slightly sarcastic tone while shaking her head "how dare you ruin the kids fun Carebear!" Carolyn repeats herself in a softer tone "leave" and the kid walks out of the room up the stairs she came down from "cute kid" Riddick says then he hears Rieka whisper from her dark corner "who's crushin on the chained animal looks like you got yourself a fan club Rid!" Riddick says to Carolyn as he sits back down "did I kill a few people? sure did I kill Zeke? no you got the wrong killer" Carolyn replies "he's not in the hole we looked" Riddick says "look deeper" Carolyn walks away "you were concerned about me!" Riddick teases with a small smirk once Carolyn was out of earshot "I was not you left me alone that in itself is dangerous!.... I was concerned for myself!" Rieka replies as she walks back into his line of sight he smiles at her
