His dark orbs met with sawyers light green ones.
He examined the scene in front of him...cancer holding sawyers hand in his clothes.
The fact that some other dude was holding her hand..something he wished he could be doing. Scorpio was not close to the word..happy
He was mad but not just that ugly emotion he always hated feeing. He was sad as well..
He was upset and felt like just walking out of the house. I mean seeing what you would say...the person you loved more than anything..with someone else..holding someone else's hand and in their clothes.
It's been a while since Scorpio has felt this way towards a female and he knew he shouldn't have.
The same thing will happen..he'll get heartbroken.
"Scorpio you made it!" Ms sag said and Scorpio just jumps back into reality and meets the woman who he knew for a while
"Oh hello ms sag. How are you?" He said and ms sag embraced him in a hug which he gladly returned.
"I'm doing just fine. I actually have something for you" ms sag said and she pulled out 40 dollars. Scorpio looked at the money then back at her
"I appreciate it but I'm not going to take that. I would appreciate it even more if you put that back in your pocket." He said and ms sag was a bit surprised.
"Scorpio I owe you. It wouldn't feel right not giving you at least something" the lady said kindly and Scorpio lightly smiles
"Uh..you can.." Scorpio hesitated. It's something he never does. His eyes looked over at Pisces. Pisces knew it was his cue
"Ms sag how about we finish baking the cookies and we give some to scorp? That'll be enough to repay him" Pisces said and ms sag looked over at Pisces then back at Scorpio
"That's perfect" Scorpio said and ms sag smiled
"Well alright. Let's finish" ms sag said and went back to the kitchen.
"Um Scorpio wanna help us?" Libra asked a bit weirdly. She can sense the awkwardness between the group
"actually...I'll take a pass on that" Scorpio said and Sagittarius raised her perfect brows
"Why's that's Scorpio?" Sagittarius asked
"Why are you questioning my answer Sagittarius?" Scorpio said and Sagittarius stared at the young man. Capricorn furrowed his brows.
"Hey jackass" Capricorn said which caused all of their attention to land on the male
"Who are you talking to Capricorn?" Aries asked and cap rolled his eyes
"Who else? Scorpio." Capricorn said and Scorpio tilted his head like a puppy
This weirded Capricorn out. Why was Scorpio acting like this? It seemed like he was the only one to notice
"Uh me and scorp will be right outside. I need to have a chat with him." Capricorn said and walked towards Scorpio.
He opened the front door and Scorpio followed and as soon as the door closed Capricorn looked at the dark haired male
"Okay tell me what's your deal?" Capricorn said while crossing his arms and Scorpio smirked
"Woah when did Capricorn start to worry about me?" Scorpio said and Capricorn raised a brow.
"Who the hell are you? This isn't Scorpio." Capricorn said and Scorpio chuckled
"Seriously? Cap you're on something I swear" Scorpio said with a smile
Capricorn reaches his hand out and grabbed Scorpio by his collar. Scorpio immediately paused and stared at Capricorn.
"Where the fuck is Scorpio?" Capricorn said and Scorpio just took a deep breath
"If you don't get you're fucking hand off You won't be able to bake cookies once you get back in." Scorpio said harshly and Capricorn smirked
"There he is" cap said and let Scorpio go.
"Now answer my question" Capricorn said
"Capricorn I swear if you don't-"
"Listen Scorpio! I know we haven't been the best of friends but I still unfortunately give a fuck about you. You've been acting really weird and leaving a lot. So tell me now or I'll make you tell me" Capricorn said as a threat. This surprised Scorpio very much.
"alright...it's my dad." Scorpio said and Capricorn paused. He didn't get it...scorpios dad passed years ago..
"Wait didn't he-"
"It was a lie. Don't worry...I believed it too" Scorpio said and looked at the ground
"He's been in jail for the past year or so. He called me a few weeks back for the first time in 7 years." Scorpio said and Capricorn just listened. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"And...I finally felt happy about my dad...he came back...I was happy. But then I just had to be here and see...you know what..never mind." Scorpio said and Capricorn sighed
"We don't have to talk about it now. This isn't really an appropriate place. When we get back home let's go get some food. Just me and you and talk...alright Scorpio?" Capricorn said and Scorpio nods.
They both walked in with all eyes on them. Cancer looks up at sighs
Scorpio sit on the couch as Capricorn went back to the kitchen
"Alright let's actually do it" Capricorn said and they nodded.
From time to time Virgo would look up in hoping to see a smiling Scorpio. But nothing..
"Cookies are done!" Aquarius said happily and her and Taurus pulled the batch out.
"Finally" Sawyer said and stretched almost hitting cancer in the process.
"Umm let them cool off and in the meantime..let's talk." Libra said and they all sat on the couch.
Capricorn and Pisces sat next to Scorpio since they knew if it was anyone else he would move
Cancer sat next to sawyer and Libra. While the rest just joined in.
"Alright...so what should we talk about?" Aquarius asked and some shrugged.
"Uh Leo hows baby Leo doing?" Gemini asked and Leo smirked
"He's doing just perfect" Leo said. Baby Leo was Leo's little brother who Gemini admired
"Hey cancer is that sawyers clothes?" Taurus asked now just realizing
"Uh yea.." she said and sawyer leaned back. He didn't like where this conversation was going. Why? Cause he knew scorpios feelings towards her. How? He looks at her the way he, himself looks at her.
"Um how's the house ?" Sawyer asked out of the blue
"Why change the subject sawyer?" Aquarius said with a smirk
"Aquarius stop it" Pisces said and Aquarius just Rolled her eyes. Scorpio just listening not even looking at his friends
"Hey I got messy and he helped me out. That's all" cancer said
"We all got messy too. He didn't help us out" Aquarius said and sawyer furrowed his brows.
"You know what...I think you should open your gifts now sawyer" cancer said with a smile. She got up and grabbed the gift she got him
"Open mine" she said and he smiled
He began unwrapping it...
He opened it to revealed a blue hoodie and a black beanie. He laughed lightly.
"I remember you told me you wanted a regular plain black beanie sooo here!" She said and sawyer hugged her
"Thanks cancer." He said and placed the beanie on his head.
"Pfft" Scorpio said lowly which all the friends heard. Cancer looked at the curly headed male and rolled her eyes. At this point she was pissed off.
She just wanted to yell at him kinda like Capricorn did but she didn't want to ruin sawyers day. So like always...she kept her lips sealed
"Open mine" Sagittarius said and handed him the envelope
He smirks and opens it. Comes out a card..
A Christmas card ??
"Hey I didn't want to buy a new one so I reused it." Sagittarius said and sawyer chuckled
"Merry Christmas Sagittarius. Hope you enjoyed this wonderful day!" Sawyer said reading off the card.
"Read the bottom!" Sagittarius said with a smile
"Okay okay...happy birthday sawyer! I'll always be better but here ya go..found this outside" sawyer read off and there was 100 dollars
"Outside or in your wallet?" Sawyer said with a smile. He got up and gave a hug to his little sister
"Thanks sag. Merry Christmas to you" he said and she chuckled
"Now you can buy yourself your own beanie" Scorpio said and sawyers eyes Locked onto him.
"Excuse me?" Sawyer said
"You heard me." Scorpio said looking at sawyer boldly.
"Sawyer don't. He's just an asshole. Ignore him" cancer said and scorpios eyes went wide.
"Ha! Yes cancer!" Leo said cheering
"Hey cancer...chill a bit" Libra said to her friend beside her
"You're telling me to chill? I say one thing about Scorpio and 'woah cancer chill out'! He's been saying stuff and acting like a total asshole. He should hear it from everybody." Cancer said and sawyer smirked.
"Uh guys...I think it's time we should go" Sagittarius and Virgo said and Taurus got up quick and walked to the front door.
"Yea." Virgo said and got up and Aries followed. Aries looked back at his best friend Cancer to see her closing her eyes. She was a stressed mess
"Uh Ill drive the boys. Aqua drive the girls alright?" Capricorn said and aqua nodded
"I'll grab the cookies..." Libra said and headed to the kitchen.
The friends walked out but before cancer closed the door she meet sawyers green eyes. She smiled brightly and said only three words that made him smile.
"Happy birthday Sawyer..." she said and closed the door. She sighed and followed behind Gemini who scrolled through Instagram with her almost 2 thousands followers.

He looked to the side to see Cancer walking behind Gemini in silence.
He clenched his jaw and rolled his eyes. He loves cancer of course but right now...he didn't want to see her.
