THE MORNING AFTER THE ATTACK

The unknown person or persons that were releasing embarrassing videos and pictures of Giovonni was causing rumors about his sexuality to run wild. One of the videos released was of Giovonni laying in bed, only in his boxer shorts, with a male's hand touching his dick through his underwear. When the camera pans up, it shows that his clearly asleep while he was getting touched. Another one of the videos was of Giovonni laying on his back completely naked, his dick was completely erect and throbbing. The video was shot from across the room, and this time there wasn't anyone touching him.
Another video that the person released on Twitter was yet another one of Giovonni sleeping. This time a dark-skinned man's erect dick comes onto the screen and is rubbed on Giovonni's lips. The video would skip in places, as the person recording would pause and restart the video. At one point, the footage was of Giovonni's open mouth as he snored. The person recording the video put his penis into Giovonni's open mouth and quickly pulled it out as Giovonni reacted to his lips getting touched. Giovonni swatted at his mouth and rolled over onto his side.
The last video showed Giovonni lying on his back in bed, with his sweatpants were pulled down to his thighs. The person recording the video was sitting next to Giovonni and also had his pants down. The dark-skinned guy was stroking Giovonni's semi-erect dick; this video also skipped in places. The last thing that was seen in the video was of what appeared to be semen on Giovonni's sweatpants; it was not clear on whom it came from.

Before Giovonni could start his day, the majority of social media sites were buzzing and trending about the videos. People were split on what they saw and what they believed was happening.

By the time Giovonni sees the video, his grandmother had already called him about twenty times. When he calls his grandmother back, the conversation became extremely strange.

Giovonni: [chuckling slightly] hey Grandma, I see y'all blowing my phone up, sup?
Giovonni's Grandmother (Sabrina): Vonni, you know what's going on? Tisha saying there's videos of you on Twitter, it's some guy doing stuff to you.
Giovonni: [confused] What? From the concert last night? [laughs believing that she was talking about Chris giving him the "Red Light" Special]
... I knew people would say shit bout that!
Sabrina: lil' boy, I'm talking bout these videos of naked you and some nigga touching you. Putting his ... stuff in your mouth! [starts to cry]
Giovonni: the fuck? Hold up!
Sabrina: boy, it's all over the Twitter and oh my lord! Vonni! [sobbing as she speaks]
Giovonni: hold up Grandma, let me see what you talking 'bout, I ain't do nothing with no nigga, iight! [putting his call with his grandmother on speakerphone as he searches Twitter to see what his grandmother was referring to]
Sabrina: Vonni, baby, it's your face. It's you. I know what the basement looks like.

Giovonni continues to scroll through the trending items, where he finds his name as the number eight trending item.sees the video

Giovonni: [disgusted and angry] ... that nasty motherfucker!
Sabrina: [feverishly crying] so you know who that is? [pausing to wait for Giovonni's answer. He doesn't say anything]
... I'm soo sorry Vonni.
Giovonni: Grandma, I can't talk bout this right now, I gotta go.
Sabrina: [sobbing] I understand, I'm so sorry this happened to you! I love Vonni!

Ending the call with his grandmother, Giovonni immediately calls the police in Nashville to speak with a detective. After finally getting to talk to someone, Giovonni explains what happened. Once the detective heard what Giovonni had to say about the videos, the detective asks him a few questions.

Detective: I'll have to see the videos in question before I talk with the D.A. (District Attorney).
Giovonni: shit, they all over Twitter, it's trending like number three or four right now.
Detective: what's the handle or the hashtag?

Giovonni replies with his Twitter username and #GiovonniStarr. The detective checks for what's trending about Giovonni and instantly finds the video of Giovonni getting a dick put in his open mouth.

Detective: Oh wow, damn! Okay, a few questions, did you know what was happening, if that is you in the video?
Giovonni: [gets upset] OF COURSE NOT! I was sleeping and no, I didn't know he was making videos of me.
Detective: Well, it looks like sexual battery, and maybe ... possibly ... rape. Because of the inserting of the penis in the mouth aspect. Sorry to be so blunt, but ...
Giovonni: I understand, I'mma fly out as soon as I can.
Detective: Okay, I'll call the D.A.'s office to see what they think about this.
Giovonni: iight bet!

After finishing his phone call with the detective, Giovonni was getting ready to throw his phone. Stopping himself about half-way through the throw, Giovonni sits down on the bed in his tour bus. He reluctantly looks at Twitter to see the comments about the video. Once Giovonni read the first two comments, he became furious. He decided to go see Chris to let him know that he was going to Nashville to take care of something extremely important.

When Giovonni left his tour bus and began to walk over towards Chris' tour bus, he saw Lamar sprinting away, yelling for help. Giovonni starts to jog towards Chris' bus. The jog turned into a full-on sprint as he sees members of the crew gathering around Chris' tour bus. Forcing his way through the crowd, Giovonni makes his way into the bus and is shocked at what he sees.

Giovonni: the fuck?
Ashley: [crying over Chris' body as she covers him up with the sheets] oh my God! [rushes over to Giovonni and hugs him as she continues to cry hysterically]
... who would do this?
Giovonni: what the fuck?

Giovonni moves Ashley aside and kneels down next to Chris. Ashley looks on, still crying beyond control as Giovonni bends over to check on Chris. He jumps up and runs out of the tour bus.

MOMENTS LATER

The medic for the crew finally arrived to evaluate Chris' injuries. The medic was applying a wet towel to Chris' bloodied face. Chris' face battered and bruised, and his eyes were swollen shut. Lamar comes in and says that the 911 dispatcher said not to touch anything else until the ambulance arrived.
The fire crew was on the first to arrive; the police arrived with the ambulance. As soon as the officer saw the scene, he said that they needed their version of a Special Victims Unit. The medical crew begins to access and treat Chris' injuries before placing him in the ambulance and taking him to the hospital. The police stayed back to interview any possible witnesses.

Police Officer # 1: does anyone have any idea who did this?
Ashley: no, we don't, we found him like this, this morning.
Police Officer # 2: Okay, we'll need to get statements from everyone that was inside this RV recently.
Ashley: [pausing for a moment as she thinks about Giovonni running off so abruptly] ... Okay. I need to call his family. [steps away from all of the commotion]

BRIGHT SUNRAYS BREAKING THROUGH CLOUDS

A Female's Voice: Christopher, can you hear me?
Chris: [sitting up] Who's that? Who's there?
A Female's Voice: Christopher, you do not belong here. You must return home.
Chris: I don't understand. [looks up at the face of the woman speaking to him]
... oh my God, Mom! I ... I don't understand. [confused as to why he's seeing his mother]
... am I dead? Is this heaven?
Paula: it's not your time Christopher. You must return home at once. They need you.
Chris: but I miss you so much. I'm so cold and tired. Can I stay with you a little while longer? [the clouds all around Chris and Paula become dark]
Paula: Christopher, you must return before it's too late.
Chris: [gasps for air] Mom!
Paula: [Paula's eyes begin to glow brightly as blue halogen lights as she begins speaking loudly] HE'S ARRESTING, STARTING CPR, CHARGING PADDLES, CLEAR! [swiftly putting both of her hand out towards Chris' chest]
Chris: [the room Chris is in flasheslightning above his as he gets jolted away from his mother as if someone yankedhis entire body backward] NOOO!
A Female's Voice: STAY WITH US! CHARGE TO 200! ... CLEAR! [Chris is jolted again]
A Males' Voice: STILL V-FIB
A Female's Voice: CHARGE TO 300! CLEAR!

Chris is revived in the emergency room, as the doctors continue to evaluate and work on him. Chris is transferred to the operating room to relieve to pressure building in his skull. He receives a blood transfusion for the blood he lost from the wound on his head. Once Chris was stabilized, the doctors came out to update Ashley and Lamar.

Lamar: [after hearing the doctors, he and Ashley sit back down together] oh my God, how the fuck did this happen? Who would wanna hurt him like that?
Ashley: somebody fucking sick. [taking out her phone]
... did you get a hold of his sisters?
Lamar: Not yet, the studio is supposed to keep trying to get a hold of 'em. Where did Giovonni run off to?
Ashley: I don't know, he came in and bent down next to Chris, then he just took off. I think Chris told him who did it.
Lamar: for real?
Ashley: [shakes her head, shrugs her shoulders, and starts to cry] I dunno! There was soo much blood. Whoever did this is crazy. No sane person would do this to him.
Lamar: he's gonna make, he'll be okay. [hugging Ashley in an attempt to comfort her]

LATER THAT DAY
.
Chris is out of surgery and in a recovery room, Giovonni is allowed to come in to see him. Giovonni ambles over to the bed, seeing all the intravenous tubing and monitoring devices connected to Chris. Looking down at Chris' swollen face, Giovonni leans over him and whispers.

Giovonni: I'm sorry. [placing his hand on Chris']
... they better find that motherfucker before I can. [Chris takes hold of Giovonni's hand and squeezes it]
... don't try to talk baby bro. [Chris moans as he shakes his head]
... don't worry, just rest. Umm, the weather in Atlanta is real shitty right now, so Clay can't leave until tomorrow. But he should be here first thing in the morning. [Chris shakes his head again and reaches out for Giovonni, before trying to speak]
... they said you shouldn't try to talk, and you need to stop moving around!

Giovonni gently puts his hand on Chris' chest to keep him from moving. When he looks at Chris' face, he sees the tears rolling down the side of his face.
.
Giovonni: You need to rest. [Chris tugs at Giovonni and then pats his hand on the bed]
... this bed's too small. [Chris slaps on the mattress harder this time and groans as he turns his back to Giovonni]
... man let me close this up for you. [closing Chris' hospital gown to cover his exposed ass. Chris chuckles slightly]
... don't need Clay tryna make me look like you. [Chris chuckles again as he moves Giovonni arm around his waist]
... iight, iight, I'll do the cuddling for Clay, but he owes me now. [Chris chuckles again as he turns to Giovonni and attempts to smiles]
... I know, I know. Just get some rest. [Giovonni leans over towards Chris and kisses him on the side of his head]
... I love you lil' nigga.

Chris squeezes Giovonni's left hand with his left hand before turning his head away and begins to cry again. Giovonni gently runs his right hand over Chris' hair. The actions between the two continue until Chris starts to hum the lyrics to Collide, Giovonni starts to sing softly as Chris hums.

Giovonni holds onto Chris until he falls asleep. Giovonni decides to stay on the bed with Chris, who falls asleep soon after. The nurse comes in and wakes Giovonni up, telling him it's too dangerous for him to be in the bed with Chris like that. Giovonni moves to the chair next to the bed and crashes there for the night.
