It has been about a month that Gray and I have been dating. It was a beautiful winter morning. Outside had a deep snow with frost dripping off trees as the sun rose. There was a small deer frolicking across the field to the trees.
I woke up with my boyfriend's arms wrapped around my waist and sleeping with a slight snore. He had spent the night with me last night since I felt like shit with a huge migraine. I tried to get up without waking him but as I moved he tightened his grip and dug his head into my back. Not knowing what to do I just stayed where I was and looked over at him.
"Gray." I whispered softly with a small poke to his face. He tightened his eyes and opened his eyes slightly. "Morning sleepy."
Gray looked at me for a moment, "morning. You feeling better?" He asked sitting up. I nodded, got to my feet and then went downstairs to start breakfast. As I finished up, Gray came down the stairs and sat on my couch. I handed him the yogurt and went back upstairs to take a quick shower.
I stepped into the steaming water as it shot down from the shower head. The water felt so warm as I bathed in it washing my hair to the very root. I stopped the water when I was finished and pulled a towel and wrapped it around my body. I walked across the hall to my room and chose out some clothes. A pair of jeans and a opal and black sweater.
"Gray!" I called, "you better be ready to go, we are leaving right now."
"Not like we are in a hurry." Gray said, still eating.
I stared at him, "how are you still eating that?" He just shrugged and took another bite. "Gray!" I yelled with a pleading voice.
"Okay." Gray said taking another bite as he got up. "You sound like a wife." He took care of his stuff and we walked out the door with Raine. He was shirtless as always with his sweats.
"I am your girlfriend." I said, padding through the snow. "I can yell at you if I want."
The rest of the way to the guild hall we walked in silence, watching Raine bound in the deep snow. We opened the door to the hall and stepped in. I ran to Erza and Lucy and greeted them with a "hello."
"How have you been?" Lucy asked, "we haven't seen you in a few days."
I nodded, "out sick." I replied with a small smile. Gray stayed with me last night to make sure I was okay."
"How cute!" Erza said so Gray could hear across the hall. He stared at us and walked over.
"What are you girls talking about?" Gray asked curiously. Even though he probably had a guess. We just chuckled and gave each other looks. Lets just say, girls can pretty much read each others minds about this stuff. I got up and let Gray sit down just to sit in his lap.
"You two are just adorable!" Mira commented as I kissed Gray. I smiled at her as Gray ordered a hot tea.
"Thanks." Gray said as Mira handed him the steaming tea. I quickly grabbed it and took a sip. "What do you think your doing?" Gray said.
"I'm drinking your tea." I said with an innocent voice.
He laughed, "I see that." He put his head over my shoulder, "give me my tea."
I shook my head and took another sip. Gray then grabbed my waist making me jump and throw the tea behind me. I herd him let out a surprised yell and I turned around to see his face wet. "Oh shit!" I said frantically. I got up and started running away.
"Don't expect to get away from me!" Gray yelled as he ran after.
We ran around the hall with everyone staring as we jumped over tables, couches, whatever was in our way. I then slammed the doors open and ran outside screaming. Gray was catching up as everyone in the hall and town came outside to see the commotion.
"NO!" I screamed as Gray tackled me and pinned me into the snow. I tried my best to break free but it was no use. "Help!" I yowled. Gray put his knees on my arms and started to tickle me. I screamed with a laugh. "Stop!"
"Say your sorry." Gray laughed, getting closer to my face. I shook my head and he tickled me again. He sat on my stomach and I screamed, "okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" He stopped and put his hands on my cheeks and kissed my nose.
We got up to see a big crowd smiling at our childish actions. Gray looked at me with a cute smile, "are you shivering?" He asked. I nodded and he replied, "aren't you an ice wizard?"
"It's just my muscles staying warm." I told him. "I'm not really that cold, it's just a reflex. My brain tells my muscles to do it so they don't freeze and tear when I'm outside. Shivering keeps your body warm for that very reason."
"That was boring." Gray responded. I shrugged, "then forget what I just said, warm me up." He then picked me up and carried me back to all the guild members. They were laughing and whispering as we walked past them. I think I even saw someone wink at me.
Gray and I walked back into the Hall and sat on a couch cuddling with each other. I was still shivering despite the lack of me being cold. We both had a hot tea in our hands, drinking them slowly. Raine was lying beside the couch with an outfit I made her a while back especially for winter.
"This morning was eventful." Gray said looking at me. His dark eyes full of amusement. I nodded and beckoned Raine onto the couch. She got up and sat across both our laps.
"I love you." I said stroking Raine.
"Love you too." Gray replied. I turned to him, "I was talking to Raine." Gray threw up his hands in the air. "I'm so sorry!" He said sarcastically. I lent back up to him and fell asleep soundly after a few minutes of him rubbing my back.
*GRAY'S POV*
As Aurora fell asleep I got up and put her in a lying down position and walked to the bar next to a few others. I got a sandwich and started to eat it. I turned around to see my girlfriend's dog whining, begging for a piece of food. "Fine." I said and threw her a bite. She ate it and started to run around again.
"How's your relationship?" The voice of Erza was behind me making me jump. I turned around to see that Lucy and Natsu were behind her.
"Why do you want to know?" I said stubbornly.
"Just wondering." Natsu piped in.
I looked at them, "it's okay." Erza just glared at me. "What? Is that bad?" I asked looking over to Aurora's sleeping body. She looked so peaceful as she silently dreamt. Her eyes were flickering as she kept slightly moving around.
"It should be the best thing ever!" Erza demanded. "Is it not?"
"I couldn't be more happier." I replied glancing back to her. Erza nodded and slightly turned away. I herd a scream and from the corner of my eye saw Aurora jump up wide eyed. Probably from a nightmare. I ran up to her quickly. "What?" I asked quietly with my heart pounding. She looked at me trembling in fear and lurched at me wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug. "What happened?" I asked again.
"It was a nightmare. A war broke out and.." She paused before continuing, "and you died." She burst into tears and dug her face into my shoulder. "I was so scared," She took a breath. "that it was real."
I nodded slowly with my left hand over her head and my right around her torso. "I know." I whispered, "don't worry, I'm not going to die on you. I promise, okay?"
Aurora nodded slowly. She curled up into a ball on my lap while still holding onto my shoulders. I was sitting on the floor for about five minutes just comforting her. Reassuring her that everything was ok. That's all that I could do.

We went to her place early since she was still frightened about her dream. Everyone was so worried about her when we left so I really hope she will feel better. She was curled next to me on her bed. I had my arms around her to make her feel more secure in case her nightmare came back. She was asleep for a few hours till she finally woke up.
"Are you ok now?" I asked worriedly. She looked at me then nodded slowly.
"I'm sorry if I worried you. Also, thanks for staying." She whispered. I shook my head, "don't worry about it, I would do anything for my girl. But the guild was pretty worried."
I got up and walked to her door. I was going to leave since she seemed ok now, but she stopped me. "Wait." She had called, "can you stay with me again tonight?" I turned around to see her looking at me nervously. I smiled gently and walked back over to her. I got on her bed and wrapped her back in my arms. "Okay."
