---Harry's POV---
I sat in the park bench with the picnic basket in hand thinking on what Carter had told me. He said he knew everything, he said that he knew from the very beginning but he was wrong. He doesn't know that I love Melody, that she's my everything.
But he loves her too. She's he's everything too. He's been with her since the very beginning. God, how could have I not realized that he loved her. That day! That day I had a gut feeling that about him, something told me that he didn't see her in a friendly way and I was right. But he kissed me. I shudder I just the thought of that.
Now Melody is gone somewhere in the streets alone and it's my entire fault. Everything. Why couldn't I have just controlled my hormones and pride? Why couldn't I just be okay with one girl not wanting me? Maybe she would have been better off with a celebrity in her life.
Liam texted me a while ago saying management got the video out of the web but they still haven't gotten the gossip about the video off. I don't really care about the gossip sites, as long as the video is down. Now if only I could find melody and clear the whole situation.
---Melody's POV---
I've decided. I know that what I'm doing in unfair to Carter and even more to Harry but it has to be done. I shouldn’t do this without letting anyone know but I can’t face anyone right now. Annebelle is helping me; she managed to escape without the boys seeing her.
Annebelle… the ultimate best friend you could have. She’s been with me since I can remember and completely understands why I’m doing this. I explained to her what happened with Harry and the tape and I told her the confession Carter made me. Apparently it was no surprise; she knew all along about his love for me but didn’t say anything to not ruin Carter and mines friendship.
I understand why she did it. I probably would have done that same if the situation had been reversed. God, I’m going to miss them but it’ll only bee for a while just to clear my head. I hate running from problems but for this time I’ll make the exception.
I left the park to meet up with Annebelle by the entrance. She was bringing me my suit case and some money from my saving account. She seemed really sad on the phone but I told her it’ll only be for a while no more than a year.
“Hey” I told her feeling the tension between us.
“Hi..” She trailed off hiding the tears that seemed ready to pour out of her eyes.
“I brought you everything you need….. Melody, you don’t have too…. I mean she’ll manage… she’s never needed you before…. I’m going to miss you so much” She stutters everything with the tea4rs spilling out.
“Anne…. I’ll be fine, I’m going to miss you too” I smile weakly knowing that no matter what I say, she’s breaking inside. She embraced me in a hug that seemed to make everything around us come to a stop. We stood there in the park embracing each other with that sisterly love we’ve always had. After a while, I pulled away.
“I don’t want to miss my train… I have to go” I whisper. She nods and pulls me back into another hug.
“Take care Melody” She whispers. “You too Annebelle. I’ll call you when I can okay” I tell her, she nods and pulls away.
I smile a quick smile and hope on a taxi. I look back from the car and see her standing there waving at me until I disappear from view. I turn back to face the front and feel the tears spilling out of my eyes like waterfalls.
