I tossed and turned that night once I got home. Werewolves. There were talking about werewolves. There was so much going on when I heard it I hadn't processed it but now I had all the time in the world.

Come on now! They don't really exist! In this day and age there's no way something like werewolves wouldn't be all over the news. People are way too nosey. But yet, my super serious headmaster and a DOCTOR were talking about them, why?! I really wish Amy hadn't drawn attention to us. And she did it on purpose! What was she thinking? Unless she knew.... no! Snap out of it. There is no way werewolves are real. I just couldn't comprehend such a thing. I was way to logical to believe in such as thing as werewolves for heavens sake!

I continued arguing with myself but eventually fell asleep. I started to dream but this time it was different. Instead of seeing it though my eyes I was seeing it as if I was a bystander. It also wasn't the dream of my parents. This was definitely felt like a memory. It was the night I fell asleep in the woods.

A half naked man walked up to my 'sleeping' body and tried to pick me up, but quickly let go.

"What the Hell! Her skin just burnt me!!" The man cried out and took a few steps away from dream me and looked to a huge black thing slowly walking towards us. It was a ginormous pitch black wolf! It stalked towards dream me. The wolf leaned down and sneezed in dream me's face when he took a whiff near my collar bone.

I watched as the dream me's eyes fly open in panic. I stood frozen in place for a moment, staring down the biggest beast I'd ever seen. I saw the beautiful golden eyes staring into the dream me's eyes. From my vantage point now I could see that the wolf was not in an aggressive stance. It didn't bare its teeth, lay down its ears, or move to attack me. Without warning dream me jumped up and ran away. The wolf looked back to the half-naked man and rolled his massive head towards where memory me had run off to. Together they slowly followed dream me. They saw dream me running from a distance, watching myself was comical. I was not graceful in any way. They watched as I ran into the teacher, listened for him to call in my rescue over the walkie talkie, then they both bolted back into the forest.

I tried to follow them but I could feel myself waking up. Everything slowly faded to black.

I thought I was waking up, but instead I found myself in a meadow. In the middle of wild flowers was a cute little girl, probably two or three years old, she had beautiful brown hair tied into pig tails and blue eyes. Next to her was a man, I assume her father because of how much they looked alike. He had the identical color hair and eyes. He looked to be in his twenties and stared at the young girl with nothing but adoration.

"Orion!" I hear a soft sing-song  voice call through the trees, "it's time for supper, bring Noel before it gets cold!"

My heart stopped. I was that little girl! This was my dad! His name was Orion! We were happy! A happy family!

I see Orion grin at the little girl.

"Wolfy daddy wolfy!!" She cried begging something from her dad, then covered her eyes with her little hands. The man stepped a few feet away. Quickly, as in if I had blinked I would've missed it, he transformed into a ginormous brown wolf. The monstrous wolf walked up to the little girl and nudged her face with her nose. She giggled and uncovered her eyes. The wolf licked the girls face and she started laughing. She climbed onto his back and they took off through the trees. I longed to follow them, with tears in my eyes, but I could feel the scene being pulled away from me. Everything slowly faded to black.

When I was fully awake I just stared at the ceiling. I had always believed that my dreams were a deep insight into my brain, but there was no way that any of what I just dreamed could be real. I must be distorting things with all the craziness I was thinking of before falling asleep. I was unsettled but resigned myself to believe that. Today was the first day back to school and I wasn't going to let some crazy dream derail me.

I took a shower and quickly got dressed. When I walked into the living area a sting of pain hit me as I realized Brie was in the hospital. I made a mental note to visit her after school and headed out the door.

Days turned to weeks and Brie hadn't woken. The school was getting back to normal but Amy and I were really missing Brie. We visited her and would talk to her almost every day, filling her in on whatever was going on at school, weather she could hear us or not. Brian was a mess. He wasn't talking to anyone but he nodded at me a few times so I was hoping I was forgiven. I rarely ran into Michael and when I did he mostly ignored me or was short with me. I was sad but the irony of it was that it was exactly what I had wanted and needed to focus on my schooling. I was doing well in all my classes. With Brie in a coma, even any fun experience felt like it was always missing something. Amy and I slept over at each other's dorms frequently. I was feeling alone, that coupled with all the crazy werewolf dreams, I felt like I was going mad. I talked to Thomas frequently but left out my dreams, I didn't tell them to anyone. He always encouraged me and asked about Brie. We made plans to meet half way to visit over summer break.

Almost three weeks after Brie's attack we finally heard that she had woken up! We couldn't ditch class so we anxiously waited for the end of the day. Brian and Michael weren't in class all day, lucky jerks, but we needed to stay or we'd get into trouble. As soon as the final bell rang Amy and I rushed to the hospital.

Amy had gotten much more comfortable at the guys' dorm hospital. She even openly and happily conversed with the staff. Anyone else though and she would lower her head and try to fade into the background.

Amy and I smiled and waved at the staff as we ran the memorized route to Brie's room. As soon as we opened the door to her room we both started crying and ran to her. Brie was sitting up on the bed. She still had cuts, but they were almost fully healed. She seemed pale, but considering she was in a coma for weeks I'd say that's pretty normal. She looked sad though, and that didn't sit right with me. We both hugged her, I took special care to not make skin contact. I'd gotten use to doing that and wanted to take special care not to shock her.

"Hi girls... how are you?" She ask a bit shakily. She didn't sound like herself at all.

"We're fine! How are you? How do you feel? We missed you so much!" Amy squealed while gently squeezing Brie's hand. I laughed to see Amy so excited.

"I'm tired but I feel okay, ready to get out of here but they won't let me leave." She replied. A tiny bit of her normal fiery self showing through at the end.

Just then Michael and Mr. Lincoln walked in. Brian drug himself in behind them and kept his head down. Brie stiffened at the sight of Brian. I turned to look at her face and saw fear written all over it. I turned back to the guys and glared. Michael met my glare with an emotionless stare. When our eyes connected I immediately got a head splitting headache. I hadn't had one in awhile and this one was bad. I felt my necklace become heavy and start to warm up. I broke eye contact and everything went back to normal. I grabbed my head and closed my eyes. Momentarily blinded to the world. This was getting ridiculous.

"Uh.. Noel.. come on." Amy said nervously as she was at my side pulling my arm. I looked up at her with a questioning look. She nervously glanced and Mr. Lincoln. "They ask us to leave to talk to Brie alone." She was scared out of her mind but I did not want to leave Brie. I felt my anger rising and looked to Brie.

"It's okay, go ahead. I'll get my phone and text you later." She looked at my face before continuing, "seriously, I'm fine you guys can go."

I still didn't want to leave. But Brie had asked me to and I didn't want to make a scene. I glared daggers at Brian as I walked by him. He never even picked up his head.

We visited Brie for the next few days. She kept saying she couldn't remember what happened but I didn't believe her. She got mad when I pushed it though so I let it go. She was getting more and more comfortable around Brian. When it was time for her to leave she told us she was going to move in with him. I was sad and didn't trust him, but what could I do. Brian had all of her stuff moved before I even got back to the dorm.

I cried about it on the phone with Thomas that night. He said he didn't like that sounds of Brian and Michael and that I should stay away from them. It made me laugh remembering Amy saying the same thing. He liked that and told me I should invite Amy to move in. I thanked him for the wonderful idea and ran to invite Amy to move in. She was a little hesitant but with a lot of begging she agreed.

Over the next few months we saw less and less of Brie. Brian, Michael, even Zach and Jacob, fully ignored us. We kept trying with Brie, and every once in awhile she would come hang out with us for a little bit, but I left the guys alone. It's what I had wanted after all. Finally we were close to the end of the school year. Brie, despite not being around us much, seemed back to her normal self. I had maintained top grades in all my classes and I was fully prepared for finals. I couldn't wait for a summer of freedom!
