Chapter 14: fillie is confirmed
...
The question "Are you guys dating?" Or "Is Fillie real?" had been asked countless of times during the panel for Mexico City. And it was time for the two teens to finally admit to it.
"I know Millie and Finn are probably annoyed by this question.. But I have to ask.. Are you guys dating?" A young boy dressed in a 'Will' cosplay costume asked.
Like always the crowd went wild, screaming and chanting 'Fillie'.
Finn and Millie both looked at each other smiling softly. Millie gave him a slight nod and in return he sent her a wink before turning to face the crowd.
He brought the mic to his lips and waited for the crowd to get settled. The cast mates were smiling widely in their seats.
"You know.." Finn started. "We're always getting asked that question. Everywhere we go." He laughed as the crowd began to scream louder.
"And you know.. since David Harbour isn't here to kick my ass.. yes! Millie and I are dating!" He grinned.
The screams became pierce screeching, it was deafening. Millie couldn't help but laugh as she went to cover her ears. Gaten was fist pumping the air which hyped up the crowd even more.
Finn looked over to Millie and couldn't help but smile at her. "Do you wanna say something?" He asked her through the screams.
Millie leaned over to him to whisper. "What do I say?" Finn chuckled. "Anything." He replied.
Millie smiled bringing the mic to her lips. "Hi!" She laughed. Finn couldn't contain his laugh upon hearing Millie say 'hi'. She was adorable.
"Hold on!" Noah said into the mic raising his hand to get the crowd to quiet down a little. "I have a question!" He said grinning.
The crowd quieted down a little enough for his question to be heard. "We all probably have this question. How did you guys begin to date?" He asked raising his eyebrow questioning.
Sadie and Noah knew the real reason on how they had began dating, but he couldn't help himself from teasing them. Millie gave him a discrete glare as the crowd agreed.
Finn looked at Millie nervously before looking back at the crowd. Thankfully they had rehearsed for this question before the panel.
"We were in L.A. 2 weeks ago.. and —Well. We sorta had a moment."
Millie nodded. "It was a mutual feeling and things kinda just happened."
The crowd started to whistle and Millie flushed in embarrassment. "Okay not like that!" She said hiding her face in between her hands. Everyone laughed including Finn.
"No but seriously. We've been dating for almost two weeks now. And I'm happy, and I hope you guys could respect that." Finn said.
The crowd 'awed' before chanting "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Finn chuckled suppressing his smile as he shook his head. Millie on the other hand turned extra red.
The rest of the cast grinned as they joined in on the chant. Gaten and Noah were making kissing noises into the mic, which caused Millie to burry her face in her hands deeper.
Finn leaned over to whisper in her ear. "We don't have to do it.. I know you said no kissing."
The crowd was still screaming loudly.
Millie looked up from her hands and over to him. It wasn't like she hadn't had kissed him before, she had been kissing him for almost 4 years now. Even though their kissing was acting for Mike and Eleven. She really wanted to kiss him. Millie whispered to him. "It's okay."
Finn nodded discreetly as he inched his face slowly to hers. Millie's breathing hitched as his lips were inches away from hers, before he could press his lips to hers Millie changed her mind last second and turned so he could kiss her cheek.
As much as Millie wanted to kiss him, it was unfair to herself and not to mention erring.
When Finn pulled away he looked at her confused but plastered a smile on his face as he turned back around to the screaming fans.
Millie put on a fake smile as the panel continued. The fans asked a couple more questions about the upcoming season, and more questions about their personal life till the panel ended.
When the six teens got off stage to go to their private room, Finn and Millie were holding hands.
"Well that went well." She let out an airily laugh loosening her grip from his hand. Finn didn't let go. "It did.. well social media should be covered with FILLIE posts about now." He said as they walked behind the group side by side.
Sadie and Noah were throwing secret winks at the two teasing them. Finn oblivious to the fact that the two knew the truth about their relationship kept holding her hand to make it seem believable.
"So.. why did you turn away when I was about to kiss you?" Finn asked quietly making sure the others couldn't hear.
Millie whipped her head to the side to look at him, panic filling her whole. "I." Her voice was squeaky so she cleared her throat. "I thought I was gonna sneeze so I turned away quickly." She lamely lied.
Finn didn't buy it. "Mills.. if you didn't want to kiss me you could have said it. I would have been fine with it. Remember? We tell each other the truth. It's part of the contract."
Millie shook her head quickly. "No it wasn't that." It wasn't. She really wanted to kiss him and that made her feel guilty. She laughed nervously. "I really felt a sneeze coming and I didn't want to sneeze on you."
Finn nodded slowly letting go from her hand as they stopped outside the door. "Okay.. well you know. You can tell me anything."
Millie gave him a toothless smile nodding. Finn waited expecting her to say something but when she didn't he nodded. He cleared his throat. "Well okay.. should we go eat tacos then?" He asked. Her whole face lit up. "Yes!!"
