Marinette
I am not feeling too well. My stomach is hurting and I was throwing up. It was definitely the pizza from last night. It's like I'm having a hangover...but from pizza.
"Aw honey," I heard mama say with worry. "You should stay home, you look green."
I didn't know how that is physically possible but due to the cartoons I've watched I knew what she meant. I nodded and laid down on the couch, groaning in pain. Stomach aches were the worst.
I remembered that I had three idiots who'd probably worry about why I wasn't at school so I forced myself to go to my room and retrieve my phone. Half of me wanted to stay there and just let them worry and miss me cause that's just the sadist in me.
I chuckled and picked my phone from the nightstand and opened it to the group chat.
M: Can't come to school.
M: I'm having a pizza hangover. 🤮
I put my phone back on my table and went downstairs. I wanted to eat fruits right now.

"Mari..." I moaned and turned around. My body was aching and I felt like shit but my eyes were heavy, and wanted sleep.
"Mari!" I groaned loudly and sat up, my eyes drooping. "Whaaaaaaaaaat?" I yawned, stretching my body. Felt great.
"Mari! You're finally awake! I have news!"
I looked at Alya annoyed. Her face expressed worry. "What is it? Did Nino get stuck on the slide again?" I joked.
She shook her head. "He's downstairs in the bakery. But the news concerns you and Adrien."
I sat up straight. Where was Adrien?
"What happened?" I asked, suddenly sensing the urgency of the situation.
Alya cringed and showed me her phone. "Um...You're not gonna like it."
It was an article from the school blog. A picture, a large picture, of Luka and me...kissing.
Marinette Dupain Chang. Adrien Agreste's wonderful girlfriend everybody. 😊 saw her at the park and thought I'd share.
The caption read.
I put a hand on my mouth and gasped. "What? Who? Why is this on the school's blog?!" I shouted.
Alya grimaced, "I don't know. It was posted at lunch time and everyone saw it. Nino and I have been trying to take it down but we can't." She said.
The door opened and Nino walked in with a milkshake. "Mari. This is terrible!" He exclaimed worriedly before sipping his drink. "Everyone has been talking about you today, calling you a cheat, fake friend and....whore...that one was from Chole." Nino said with a pained expression. "It was hard to listen to."
I frowned, remembering Adrien. "Did Adrien see it?" I asked.
Alya and Nino exchanged looks which only confirmed my worries. "He did, didn't he." I mumbled and looked down.
"He's been trying to get a hold of you all day but you never answered." Nino said. I looked up at him.
"My phone is in my room."
Nino nodded, "But he came up with the idea that you were with Luka. We tried to tried to tell him that Luka left but he was gone. He skipped calss. Anyway, why didn't you come to school?" He asked curiously.
I gave him a flabbergasted look. "Didn't you three get my message?" I asked.
Alya and Nino arched their brows and frowned, shaking their heads. "Nope."
Oh shit.
I jumped off the couch and ran up to my room. I spotted my phone, still where I had left it and picked it up.

1 text message from Nidiot
I cringed, feeling bad. They must have been really worried about me while I was just dreaming away.
I opened the group chat which I had used that morning and lo and behold, it didn't send because my Wi-Fi was turned off.
"Haha, pizza hangover." I heard Nino chuckle. I rolled my eyes and turned around. "Dammit, Nino. Adrien is probably upset at mebecause he thinks I was with Luka today."
"Well, the caption does imply that it was-" I interrupted Alya and took her phone. It was still on the article.
I looked at it and narrowed my eyes. "That was on Sunday. The last time I saw Luka and after that I confessed my feelings to Adrien."
"Wow, that all happened in one day?" Alya gaped. I glared at her to shut up.
Alya smiled sheepishly. "Then why didn't you tell us about the kiss?"
I frowned. "I don't know. Maybe it wasn't worth telling but that was before Adrien and I actually got together."
"Yeah but the people at school don't know that. So it does look like you cheated on Adrien with the blueberry. " Nino shrugged.
"Blueberry? You know what, don't answer that. We have to go to Adrien's now!" I told them before chasing them out of my room so I could freshen up.

Adrien
(Earlier that day)
I smiled happily as Plagg stopped in front of the school. Another day with my friends and beautiful girlfriend.
Damn, I can't believe we're official.
"Okay, twerp. This is your stop." Plagg grinned at me. I grinned back and opened the door, getting out. "Thanks man." I waved and walked off.
I walked to the locker room and, just as expected, Nino and Alya were there waiting for us.
"Hey, guys." I smiled and waved.
"Hey lover boy, where's your lover girl?" Nino teased with an annoying smirk plastered on his lips.
I rolled my eyes. This was new. "I thought she came already."
Alya shook her head. "Too early for the usual Marinette. Besides, nowadays she comes with you."
It was true. Sometimes I'd walk to her place to pick her up but that was only when I came early. We usual meet outside and walk in together. Today, however, I was a little late so I didn't have time to go to her place.
"I didn't see her." I scratched my head. Nino took his phone out and began to type. "There, I sent her a message asking her where she is." He smiled and put his phone away.
I sneered at him. Like that was gonna help. Just then the bell rang, signalling the start of class.
Alya looked at me and shrugged. "Maybe she's sick."
"Maybe." I mumbled.
"Or maybe she'll come later." Nino added. Marinette would sometimes come late to school so maybe that was the case.

Lunchtime and Marinette wasn't here. She hadn't texted back and answered any of our calls.
Nino was currently stuffing his face with chocolate fudge cake while Alya watched his with visible disgust.
"Tell me how I've been friends with this thing but still never noticed how much of a pig he is." Alya said. Nino stopped and sneered at her.
I only laughed as Nino continued eating without a care.
"So do you guys have any idea what happened to Mari?" I asked. I was seriously worried right now.
Alya shook her. "She's not answering her phone." Nino shrugged.
I sighed and took out my phone out. I have a notification from the schools blog so I decided to just see what it is before I head of to Marinette's for a quick visit.
I waited for the page to finish loading. Once it did, I saw that there was a picture that was still loading so I scrolled down to read the caption.

I scoffed but smiled. Another fangirl posting stuff here. Seriously, the school doesn't even use this site. The students have somehow turned it into their personal Facebook or something. I didn't know I was laughing when Nino brought it up.
"What you laughing at?" He had finished his cake and was now looking at me with interest. "Memes?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Just something on the school blog."
Alya looked at me. "What is it?"
I grinned. "The usual fangirl stuff." I shrugged. They both nodded, understanding what I meant.
The picture finally loaded so I decided to take a look. I choked on the air and almost dropped my phone. Alya and Nino didn't seem to notice as the were now talking to each other.
I frowned and looked at the picture. Trying not to believe what I was seeing.
Luka and Marinette, locking lips. Kissing.
I read tbe caption again. 'Marinette Dupain Chang. Adrien Agreste's wonderful girlfriend everybody. 😊 saw her at the park and thought I'd share.' It was posted twelve minutes ago.
Is that where she really is?
With Luka?
I picked up my stuff and left, ignoring Alya and Nino's calls.
