"You sure you don't wanna hold off on the interview? You can always wait until you're more healed." Aizawa said fixing his tie. For someone who hated the media and fame he cleaned up really really well.
I walked over to help him with his tie,
" It's better i get this done now. If i wait the enemies are going to think they won. Besides seeing me all banged up is a good insight to what we hero's risk everyday. That its not all saving people and earning awards and medals or being on the newspaper.."
Aizawa smirked "Your mother used to say something around those lines." he patted my head
"What would she had done in my situation ?" i asked. I wanted to know what kind of person or hero she was. Since i cant go to he for advice on my own.. Maybe determining what she would do would help me out in some way.
Aizawa sighed and sat down as people worked quickly to get the stage set up. "About bakugo?"
i nodded
"She would be training right now to get back in there.." he looked to the ceiling and smiled "She was hard headed that way but thats also what made her a great hero. If she were here right now.. she'd be helping you to get him back."
"and as his old teacher?" He looked back down to me
"I still feel the same from when he was taken the first time, He wants to be a hero y/n. Someone as hard headed like bakugo wont ever change their mind. He's playing along right now because its smart. It's to survive.. the look in his eyes when he saw you.. He's not one of them. I believe theres hope."
"we're on in 5!" the talk show host stated
"thanks for being here with me Aizawa." I was nervous to show up on live tv looking the way i did. faced bruised and banged up.. parts of my neck still freshly burned and dark.. I was hideous and i know it. But apart of me hopes bakugo is tuning in so he can see what he did to me.
but im speaking out of pure anger. But maybe thats how i truly feel. Betrayed.. Beaten..
"Get out of your head. You look fine." he said pulling onto the stage where we took our seats.

"I have a special guest here today!" the host started . " here with me i have the brave hero who faced the league of villains recently following a hunch. For a month she remained in a coma and luckily agreed to be here shortly after she woke up.. Y/N!!" the crowd cheered and clapped. "and with her we have her former teacher who we all know and love ErasureHEad!!!"
I smiled and waved back at the many fans who looked happy to see me. Meanwhile Aizawa just glared into the audience.
"y/n... you took quite a beating.. how are you holding up with your recovery?"
"I'm fine. I'm recovering slowly but im just lucky to be alive. The doctors said I was Barely holding on."
"Can you tell us what happened?"
"I was following up on a lead in the missing girls cases. Found myself at the right place at the wrong time. So i called Aizawa here for back up and im just lucky he came through for me."
"So out of everyone you couldve called you called your old teacher? you guys must be pretty close."
there it is. the reason why Aizawa hates the media. Always assuming something for higher ratings.
"Assuming anything less than what it is, is purely disgusting" Aizawa spoke up quickly "Y/n is not just my former student but I was her legal guardian during her stay in U.A. Since the orphanage wouldn't allow her to stay at U.A without parental consent and she having no parent to be given consent, The staff and myself brought it upon ourselves to do what was necessary to keep A student with a promised future safe."
"How sweet! so in a sense she's your daughter?"
"Thats how i view her yes."
" I wouldn't be where i am today if it werent for Erasurehead and the rest of U.A.."
"I see, I have to ask. this is something the world and I have been wondering . What did you face during your last mission that sent you to the hospital?"
"You dont have to answer that" Aizawa mumbled . I knew i was not allowed to talk about bakugo since that was top secret..
"its fine... I was faced with a nomu.. a creature my classmates and myself faced before back in U.A."
"the same creature that sent Aizawa to the hospital?" she asked.
"Correct. though it wasnt the same. Luckily. Had it been the same one i wouldnt be alive right now."
"What will you guys be doing to make sure our city is safe?"
"We are doing everything we can. I will personally continue to fight for this cities safety until the day I die. and if that happens to be sooner other heros are also out here risking their lives in order to do so as well."
"So heroic" she squeeled. Woman in the audience clapped and stood off their seats
"I also have a message for the league of villains incase their watching.." i blurted out
"y/n!" Aizawa yelled
"I'm coming for you!"
"you heard it first guys!" the host continued and wrapped up the interview.
"what kind of shit is that ?" aizawa yelled angrily " you wanna stir up the league of villains while your in this condition?!"
"Because they're watching." I mumbled.
"How would you know ?"
"Overhaul is in the audience."
Aizawa peeked over at the audience who awaited to be released. "I don't see him"
"Because you don't know what he looks like without that beaked mask. I have It's him.first row second seat."
Aizawa looked over and they locked eyes for a second.
"What do you think he wants"
"He wants to talk to me"
"Out of the question."
"Aizawa, I'm not asking for permission"
"And I'm still not letting you go."
"What would my mom want you to do?"
Aizawa clenched his teeth and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Your playing dirty"
"What would she be telling you right now if she could talk to you?"

"Then come with me. Or not. I'm not forcing you but I'm telling you I'm gonna find out what this bastard wants. And why he's here."
"Y/n your quirk isn't 100% back yet."
"But we have yours . Without my quirk I'm still physically strong. I had to be to be able to support my quirk. Strength is what he lacks because he never needed it. Do you have my back or not."
