Dabi held the knife against the red-winged man, clutching his golden hair tightly in his scarred hand.
"No...No! It's not what you think!"
"Hah, really?"
"P-Please don't hurt me."
"No, I am going to cut you into pieces, starting with your face. Come on, open that mouth like when you want to suck my cock~" He pressed the blade against his cheek, but drawing no blood.
"Please, Dabi, it doesn't have to be like this..." He whimpered.
"Yes it does. If it didn't have to be like this, you wouldn't hand over our information to the authorities, would you? You wouldn't let my father know who I was, so he would try to came for me, would you? You wouldn't let- no, help him corner me so I was forced to kill my father. My own father. Sure, he was shitty, and I'm a villain who kills people, but my own father. And you... Oh, I can't even start about you."(Again, never read the manga, don't know what happened.)
"H-He made me..."
"Then you could've come with us. I asked you to, and you didn't. You really should have." Dabi threw Hawks onto their shared bed. Though Dabi was angry, and threatening, Hawks' skin was unblemished. Dabi didn't touch him.
He felt so torn. His loyalty lie with the Heroes, yet his heart betrayed him. He wanted to protect the community, save the people, be an exemplary hero that generations would look up to. At least, thats what he thought until last year, when he met Dabi. Their relationship took on a turn.
He turned from a hunter to a lover. He was supposed to kill him, but was captivated by his gorgeous eyes. He was taken prisoner, and Dabi took a liking to him. They fell for each other. Hard. And quite intensely, too. Within the first month, they were fucking left and right, and became each others world.
Hawks went back a week later.
It was fine, they were always finding a way to love each other.

Hawks eyes widened, and put his hand on his cheek.
"What if I get hurt?"
"Heh, you would never get hurt."
"What if you hurt me?"
"Hawks...I will never, ever hurt you, promise. No matter what. I would never lay a hand on you. But, if a time comes where I do hurt you, please, end my life."
"D-Dabi..." Tears welled up in his eyes, and the scarred man pulled back and released the hero. He stumbled back, staring at the hand that had made forceful contact with Hawks.
"You...you promised..." Hawks started crying. Dabi struggled to his feet and made to take the winged man into his arms. When Hawks flinched and retracted, Dabi bit his lip, and turned around. Hawks looked after him, and saw his own arm reach out for him.
-Two years later-
"Hawks, we need you here!"
He flew over the forest, spotting the place where multiple heroes working together were having trouble containing a single villain.
Flames crawled out of the clearing with blue tongues licking the night sky, emitting heat as if it were bright day.
Blue flames...
Hawks immediately regretted following those orders.
A black haired man was thrashing against reinforced wires, that ran across his body and tore his skin and clothing. He was shouting, and his eyes were desperate.
"Get off of me! GET YOUR DIRTY HANDS OFF OF ME!" He struggled against the bonds, and the wires were melted off. Flames rose quickly around him, ensuring that no one around him could get to him. And it worked. No one around him could.
I mean, I could, from above.
I can fucking fly bitch!
I swooped down and landed inside the ring of fire. He turned and stared. I walked up to him, silent.
Other heroes were staring at me. They cheered first, at my arrival, but it's not like they knew that my heart wanted literally nothing more than to kiss him and hug him and make love to him until the morning rose.
Dabi stopped. He stared back. The spectators were questioning why didn't Hawks kill him? He was wide open.
Both their emotions were laid wide and exposed on the charred grass.
Hatred, anger, dread, regret.
Love.
Hawks ran to the scarred man, his wings surrounding the other male's shoulders. Dabi finally broke down and embraced Hawks, pulling him into his very heart.
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you too."
"Why are you here? And what happened? Your scars have grown."
"I...burned myself." Dabi stuttered. Hawks pulled away-slightly- and looked into the arctic sapphire eyes of his boyfriend. His eyes glazed over the remains of the face. A blotch covered his right eye, and the stitches looked new. There was a large new burn on his left cheek, the same side he had hurt Hawks. His left hand was bandaged up to the elbow. When Hawks went to unravel it, Dabi gently pushed him away.
"You don't want to see, trust me."
"Why?"
"It was too bad. The flames destroyed my skin. It's beyond scarred. It's flesh. There's a clear silicon case over it."
"Clear?"
"They stole it from a hospital at night, and they didn't have time to search for skin grafting before they could have been caught."
"Oh Dabi..." Hawks softly caressed the arm. It was skinny and weak. The blonde leaned down to kiss each of the wrapped up knuckles.
"My love, what have you done?" Hawks was not referring to the rather obvious crime scene before him. He was referring to the multiple knife scars that littered rare patches of clean skin.
It was evident what the villain had done. He tried to kill himself. Burns, cuts, and the painfully visible ribs showed that he had starved himself.
"Hawks, what are you doing?"
"Hawks, get away from him!"
"Hawks, what is he doing to you?"
'What is he doing to me?'
The ring of fire lowered, and Dabi pulled Hawks into a hug once again.
"He's coming with me." When the heroes protests arose, begging Dabi to "cease his mind washing", Hawks kissed Dabi straight on the lips, proceeding to make out for a few minutes. Their tongues swirled together, Hawks moaning softly every now and then. Saliva dripped down both of their chins. When the pair finally separated, they were panting.
"That answer your questions?" Hawks yelled over the rising commotion. Everyone went silent.
The blonde smirked and rested his head and hands on Dabi's chest. They started to realize. Hawks had betrayed them. Dabi placed his hands on his boyfriend's head and waist, and propelled them into the air with flames and heat and some science shit. Idk.
Sure, Hawks had betrayed maybe the entire country, maybe the entire world, maybe the entire universe.
But, he never betrayed his heart.
