After arriving at the Jungs' home, I didn't stay very long. As much as I really wanted to stay and escape my reality, I knew I couldn't.
Hoseok and his family showered me with love and words of encouragement, telling me that I could get through this, even though it didn't feel like I could.
I guess the truth is, I'm scared.
Scared that what happened before will happen again and I'll have to face the pain of heartbreak once more.
Even though I'm trying not to think like that, it's hard.
So here I am sitting in my car on my way to Kim Seokjin's house. Panicking.
I'm almost there and the closer I get, the more I can't feel my arms-which is bad because I need them to drive.
20 minutes later I'm pulling into the driveway.
I decide to sit in the car for a few minutes calming down and contemplating, before going to the door.
After what felt like an eternity, I get out, and go up to the front door.
I ring the doorbell and wait, until I hear a bit of shuffling inside before the door opens.
The wind is almost knocked out of me as I take him in. Beautifully disheveled hair, plump rosy lips, stars for eyes. Donned in nothing but navy blue sweats and a plain black shirt.
God... He always does this to me.
"Hi" he smiles.
"Hi" I smile.
"Come in" he opens the door wider for me.
I step inside walking towards the living room and he quickly follows. I couldn't even sit. I was too jittery.
"Do you want anything to drink?"
I shake my head declining.
"Okay" he nods.
"Well-" I start off saying but he interrupts.
"Before you say anything, you should know that I'm one hundred percent prepared to fight for you if you turn me down. I won't give up so easily again"
I laugh lightly at him. He's so cute.
"Is that it? Are you done?" I quip.
"Yes... go ahead" he puts his hands into his pockets and I notice him gulp as the movement of his Adam's apple distracts me for a moment.
Impulsively, I walk up to him, pulling his hands out of his pockets and I take them into mine before tiptoeing to kiss him.
When I pull away, his face is priceless. I giggle and my forehead falls to his chest.
"I love you" I look at him again. "It took me a long time to move on. I'm still working on it. I don't know when or if I'll fully recover but I'm ready to try again. I want us to be a family again. I promise I'll work on my flaws and be a better wife"
His expression is unreadable. A mixture of confusion and disbelief. "Wife...?"
"Yes. Remarry me Jin. It won't feel complete if we're not married"
"Oh Y/n... When I said to get back together I wasn't thinking that far... To remarry"
My heart sinks and I frown. "What?"
"I'm kidding... Gotch'ya" a sinister smile grows on his lips.
"Wha- Jin that's not funny!" I push against his shoulder.
"I'm sorry I couldn't resist" he cackles, quite amused.
"You know what? I'm taking back everything I just said"
"Okay okay, I'm sorry" he holds on to my face, cupping it cutely. "Of course I want to get married Y/n. I wouldn't want it any other way." he smiles and kisses my nose.
I shot him a glare before uncontrollably breaking into a smile.
And I sigh. "There's one more thing" I take a step away from him.
"What is it?" By the way his eyebrows furrow, I know he's confused again. Thinking about what else I could possibly add to this moment
I smile softly, grabbing his hands again. "I'm pregnant"
He doesn't move, only looking at me with Bambi eyes.
"Huh?" He finally says.
His face makes me giggle.
"You're-" his eyes pan to my stomach then back to my eyes. "What?"
"I'm pregnant with our baby, Jin" I rest my hand on my stomach.
"Is this a prank?"
"No" I couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm really pregnant. I found out yesterday"
He remains still, clearly in shock.
"Say something, please"
"Are you really telling the truth right now?"
"Yes! I'm telling the truth I'm not pranking you. I did tests at the doctor's because I wasn't feeling well and I got the results from the doctor yesterday. Apparently our timing was off and the contraceptives never stood a chance..."
"...Y/n, you're really pregnant again" he says quietly.
"Yeah. I was really scared and I didn't think I was ready to go through with this again" I glance down at the floor tiles, afraid to look him in the eyes.
He puts his finger gently under my chin and raises it. Forcing me to look at him.
"You won't go through it alone. You've got me and I won't lose you again"
I smile hugging him tightly as he embraces me in his strong arms.
Life is funny.
Hilarious actually.
One minute you're married then the next you're divorced and then all of a sudden you're engaged again to the same person.
If that's not a soap opera, I don't know what is.

Three days later and Jin and I were pretty serious about moving things in the right direction this time. For us and for our baby.
We haven't told anyone about getting back together but already we were making plans for our future.
He was so serious about not needing a fancy ceremony to remarry but I at least wanted to make things interesting.
I came up with the idea of sharing the news about our baby and our re-engagement. But what I decided on was to call and surprise all our family and friends about the small wedding only then announce the pregnancy on the day of.
That'd definitely stir up the crowd and have everyone asking questions but it was the perfect surprise.
So far the only ones that know about my pregnancy apart from Jin, are the Jungs and even when I told Hoseok about the wedding and the surprise, he said he still wanted to be there if it was the last thing he did before leaving again.
The wedding is in 2 weeks. Enough time for everyone to get their affairs in order so we can fly them out to be a part of the ceremony.

It's Friday after work. I invited June to have dinner with me so I could break the news to her. As we look through our menus and sip our drinks, June peers at me funny.
"You're in an oddly good mood, what happened? Aren't you supposed to be sick?"
I laugh.
"The doctor said it's nothing serious, just a bug going around. I got some meds to take and I'm starting to feel better. I just need to relax and rest as much as I can"
"Oh that's a relief. I'm happy to hear that... So... have you made up your mind about Jin yet?"
"Actually I wanted to talk to you about that"
Her eyes lit up now and I observe her movements in amusement.
"Talk to me honey, did you go see him?" Her brows raise eagerly.
I take a sip of my drink before responding and she stares at me inquisitively.
I couldn't help but laugh.
"I did see him... I decided that I was ready to get back together"
She squeals in excitement but only enough for us to hear making me giggle at her reaction.
"It's about time! I knew that's why you were in a good mood!"
"Oh you did not"
"Of course!"
I laugh. "Okay okay but I'm not done"
"What? There's more?"
"Yes we're getting remarried-"
"Shut up! Y/n that's great!"
"Let me finish!"
"Okay okay sorry"
"We're having a mini ceremony with close family and I want you to be my maid of honour... Again" a rather nervous chuckle leaves me.
She gasps. "Really??" Her voice comes out high pitched.
"Really"
"Wow, I could cry. I'd love to be your maid of honour again Y/n. I'm so proud of you for taking this step, I can't wait to get used to you smiling again" she says genuinely.
"Thank you June, you've been there for me through everything and I couldn't appreciate you more"
"You know I love you" she touches my hand affectionately and smiles. "Does Hoseok know?"
I nod.
Our waiter comes back to take our orders before we continue talking excitedly as we wait for our food.

It's Saturday morning.
Now it's time to tell my parents. and I decide to video call them from my bedroom. I sit patiently staring at the laptop screen waiting for my mom to pick up the call. After a couple seconds, she picks up.
"Y/n! I'm so happy you called, I was just thinking about you"
"Aw really?"
"Yes, for some unknown reason"
"Oh an unknown reason... Okay. It's not like I'm your daughter or anything" I quip.
She giggles. "Oh yes, that. Of course! So how are you? Is everything alright?"
"Yes Mom everything is great. I wanted to see your face when I tell you what I have to tell you and dad's too, where is he?"
"He's watching television, do you want me to get him?"
"Yes please"
"Honey!" she calls out, momentarily moving out of the frame.
There was some talking going on in the background as I wait for my parents to appear on the screen. About a minute later they both came.
"Hi baby doll" Dad greets me.
"Hi daddy, how are you?"
"I'm good, are you alright?"
I sigh happily. "I'm more than alright. I'm great"
"Really?" He smiles widely.
"What's going on Y/n?" Mom asks eagerly.
"It's about Jin and I... We talked and... We're back together"
Both their faces light up now.
"What??" Mom speaks first.
"Wait, when did you guys talk? This wasn't overnight was it?"
"No it wasn't. It actually started at the exhibition almost a month ago and I've been quietly making up my mind and I decided that I wanna put the past behind me and be with him, so we're getting remarried" I smile.
My mom's mouth just about drops when she hears that.
"You're getting remarried?! Oh my gosh Y/n!"
"Is this really what you want?" Dad questions quite sincerely.
"Yes dad I'm sure. We're having an intimate ceremony with only close family and friends in two weeks"
"Two weeks??" Mom exclaims.
"This is quite a lot to take in"
"We just wanna get it all over with and move forward" Dad smiles.
"I am so happy to hear this, good for you two. Oh I'm gonna have to make so many preparations" Mom flails her arms.
"I can't believe I'm gonna marry off my daughter again, to the same man. Wow what a world" Dad muses.
I chuckle. "Anyway I want you guys to get ready, I'll tell you the exact date soon so I can fly you both out"
"Alright my baby, I can't wait!" Mom beams.
"I love you guys. I have to get some stuff done"
"Oh are you planning the wedding?" she asks.
"No, Jin's getting someone to take care of it. I don't really care for much detail, it won't be a big thing. The venue just has to look pretty"
"Okay, I love you Y/n"
"Love you too Y/n, when I get there Jin and I have to have another serious talk" Dad remarks.
I laugh lightly at this. "Okay daddy... Talk to you guys later"
"Bye honey" They wave before I end the call.

So I'm calling Soohyun first about the wedding then I'll move on to my parents.
I sit out on the back porch waiting as the phone line rings.
"Brother! What's going on?" he finally answers.
"Hey, are you busy right now?"
"Not particularly, I am in my office right now but what's up?"
"Well, Y/n and I are back together and we're getting remarried in 2 weeks"
The line goes silent for a moment.
"Wait, what??"
"You heard me bro"
"Well hey next time break it down for me first so I can properly digest it! You're getting remarried??"
"She said she's ready to move on and start a new life together and we agreed to get remarried. I think it's time"
"You're damn right it's time! This is the best news I've heard all year! Congratulations Jin! I'm excited for guys- wait when did you say the wedding was?"
"In 2 weeks"
"So soon?"
"Soohyun you're really gonna ask me that when the love of my life just decided to take me back?"
"You're right, I'm stupid... Wow I can't believe this is happening but I'm glad it is"
"Yeah, it will be a small ceremony, just close family and friends"
"This is amazing I can't wait to be there... Have you told mom and dad yet?"
"No way, if I did you'd know about it before I even got to tell you"
He laughs. "I can't even dispute that"
"I'm about to call them next"
"Okay, I'd advise you to turn your volume down when you're telling mom cause she is for sure going to scream"
"Way ahead of you. Talk to you later"
"Alright little brother, I'm happy for you. I'm glad you finally took a step to move things forward. Even if the steps were maybe not in the correct order"
"Thanks, couldn't have done it without your nagging"
"Yeah yeah whatever"
I hang up and immediately look for my dad's contact to tell him first. I wait for a second and he picks up on the 3rd ring.
"Hello?"
"Hi dad"
"Oh Seokjinie, how are you my son?" He answers sweetly.
"I'm good dad. I need to talk to you about something important"
"Oh, okay. Well go ahead. What's this about?"
"I wanted to say that I'm sorry I let you down when Y/n and I divorced. I couldn't face you when it happened because I was ashamed... I broke your promise. But now everything is clearer. I understand now what you were saying to me..."
"Seokjin... You have never disappointed me as a son. I've acknowledged that you're human and you're not perfect. If anything I am more proud of you right now for finding your way back after losing it. So what exactly are trying to say now?"
"Y/n and I have worked things out and we're remarrying in two weeks"
"Wow this good news. I'm happy for both of you, so very happy! I hope you will never lose sight of the true meaning of unconditional love"
"I won't. I can't promise that it won't get hard but I won't lose her again"
"I'm really glad to hear that son, should I go tell mom?"
"Do you think she'll get mad if I let you tell her instead me?"
"Yes, I absolutely do"
I chuckle. "Okay put her on the phone then"
"Okay, hold on a bit"
After a few seconds of silence she answers.
"Jin?"
"Hi Mom"
"Hi baby, what's going on? Your father says you have something to tell me"
"I'm getting remarried mom"
"What?! H-How?? When??"
"Y/n and I worked things out and decided to get married in two weeks"
"Oh my baby, my youngest son..." She goes on. "I can't believe this! I'm so happy right now I could faint"
I laugh. "Mom please don't faint, you won't be able to come to the wedding if you do"
"You're right, you're right. Oh I'm so happy! I told you I had a good feeling in my spirits. I cannot wait to see my daughter-in-law again! Do you want me to cook anything for your reception?"
"No Mom, there's no reception. It's not a big thing. It's close family and friends only. Just a small intimate ceremony"
"Okay, that's probably best. I can hardly wait. I'm so overjoyed!"
"I'm glad. Well, I have to go now Mom. I'll give you more details later on"
"Alright Jin bye, I love you"
"Love you too"

"So I'm inviting you to come"
Dr. Gale looks at me wide-eyed as I give her my life update.
"Oh Y/n, this is a bit shocking I must admit. I would love to come to your wedding. I'm so thankful that you even thought of me. I've received gifts from clients before never a wedding invitation" She smiles.
"I just thought that you've been so patient with me throughout this whole process and I know that it's your job but I know that I'm stubborn and can be a handful sometimes but you've helped me so much. And I don't want to stop our sessions just because Jin and I have worked things out. In fact I know it'll be difficult from here on out so I'll still need your help"
"I am really proud of your progress"
"Thanks. There's one more thing I wanna tell you... It's actually going to be a surprise for my family at the wedding but I want to tell you now"
"What is it?"
"We're expecting" I place my hand on my stomach, smiling.
Her eyes are almost discs. "A baby??"
I nod as my smile grows bigger.
"It was so unexpected..." I chuckle thinking about how my spirit left my body when I first got the news. "But I'm gonna do everything that I didn't do in my first pregnancy. And face it head on no matter what"
"Congratulations Y/n, I look forward to meeting the little one in the future"
"Thank you"

Two weeks later, we're surrounded by our families witnessing us reuniting again.
It's at this moment I realize that life may never be how you want it to be all the time but what makes it worth it, is having someone you can share your faults with. Someone who's willing to help you up whenever you fall or forgive you when you forget to remove the kitchen cloth from beside the stove almost causing the kitchen to burn down.
As we stand before the priest with June standing behind me and Soohyun standing behind Jin. It felt surreal.
It really does feel like we've been given a second chance. We hold each other's hands, looking into each other's eyes lovingly as if it was our first time. Ready to declare our vows.
"Y/n my love, I really don't know how I survived all this time without you. You fulfill a part of my life that no one else comes close to. I've come to realize that my love for you is eternal and because of that I will never let go of you again. I love you"
My heart skips a beat and I smile, holding back tears.
"Jin, sometimes I think I don't deserve you... But then I realize that no one would be able to put up with you and your antics like I do"
Everyone laughs and Jin flashes a wide smile.
"But who am I to talk when you have to deal with my stubborn ass..."
He nods teasingly.
"But it's when you go through those moments and still feel the need to fight for me that I know you truly love me and I will never take that for granted. I love you so much"
We slide the rings on each other's fingers before saying our "I do's" and sealing it with a kiss. Embracing each other like it was the first time.
Music plays as everyone stands and cheers us on and I try so hard not to cry. I will not ruin my makeup.
Jin and I hold hands now, looking at each other with knowing eyes before I nod and face everyone.
"Everyone... We just want to thank you for being here with us. The past year and a half have been rough but you've always supported us and we have been so grateful for all of you. I really mean it."
"And with that being said we have big news... Y/n and I are having a baby!"
Gasps and doe eyes immediately fill the room.
When I look at June her mouth is stuck open and my in laws jump in their spots clapping before running up to us. Which everyone then does.
It was exciting and scary.
June comes up to me and hugs me tightly and the rest of my family comes up to suffocate Jin and I.
"How dare you make me cry and mess up my makeup!" June whines.
"That might just be the greatest pregnancy announcement I've ever witnessed" Soohyun says, standing in between us and squeezing us to him "I can't believe this, this just keeps on getting better and better!"
Amongst the crowd Jin and I ignore everyone for a moment, gazing at each other with dazed smiles.
