CARTER
"So you decided to go." I heard Tiana's voice behind me as I put the last bit of clothes I needed for my long ass flight to Paris.
I sighed. "I almost didn't."
I saw her get on the bed and sat there watching me. I pulled the luggage off the bed and placed it on the floor.
I looked back at her and what I saw did something strange to me. She looked sad. I smiled and walked over to her. She lifted off the bed and wrapped her arms around my neck and I brought her closer by her waist.
"I will miss you." She said softly.
"Yeah?"
She smiled and leaned forward, kissing my lips. I kissed her back. I will miss her too. We've grown so much on each other. I never thought I would be doing this. Especially with her.
She was changing me.
She pulled back from our kiss and stared into my eyes. She sighed before asking, "How long will you be gone?"
"About a week."
She nods. "How long will we stay here?" She questions, referring to the beach house.
"As soon as I come back, we're off to Italy."
She was quiet for a moment, looking off. I knew what she was thinking. She was thinking about living in my estate. I would not force her to go to Italy if she didn't want to but on my half, I have to leave.
I have to figure out a way to get rid of Riena silently. I knew her. She had something planned when I saw her here. I have to handle a few things.
"Tiana?" I said, trying to get her attention.
She looked my way.
"I won't force you to go with me but there are certain things I have to take care back home and I don't know how long it will take." I said.
She nods in the silence. "I want to go with you."
My chest tightened at her words. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her lips a few times. "You don't know how much hearing those words mean to me."
She smiled.
This girl here means so much to me and it fvcking scared me.
TWO DAYS LATER
TIANA
He left and I miss him already.
I sighed. Why did I feel this way. He will be gone a whole week and I will be stuck here bored out my mind.
But when he comes back, we're leaving to go to Italy.
I agreed to go with him because....I really like him. I feel something for him and it scares me.
I was laying in his bed, wrapped in the thick duvet. I got up once and that was to get my hygiene and stuff together. I got dressed in a navy blue button down shirt with a pair of black leggings and black socks.
I've been doing nothing but watching tv for hours. Camille went out to get a few things and Eva was with Rick. Rick was suppose to go with Carter but he was the only man he trusted to look after me. Brian was ordered to go back to Italy due to a crisis and if Carter couldn't be there, Brian had to step up.
A sudden knock came to my door and I gave a faint come in. The door opened and Eva came in with a phone in her hand.
"That for me?" I queried as I sat up.
Eva nods. "Tis Boss man." She says.
I swallowed hard and grabbed the phone from her. She left to give me privacy, closing the door behind her.
"Hello?.."
"I want you to do something for me." His deep voice filled my ears.
"What?" I asked while grabbing the remote and cutting off the tv.
"Lock the bedroom door." He said causing confusion to course through my mind.
"Why?"
"Just do it." Carter said.
I pulled the duvet off me and walked to the door and locked it.
"Good, now take off your clothes."
My mouth opened in shock. Why was he telling me too take off my clothes. I was silent as I made my way back to the bed.
"Why?"
"I want to see you."
I frowned. How is he going to see me? "I don't know how-"
"I got cameras all over my estate." He interrupts me.
No. I shook my head, hoping he was joking but knowing Carter he was serious. If he had cameras all over this safe house, that meant....
"Oh, Carter. You got cameras all over your house without telling me. I was naked and I'm on camera having sex with you."
My frown deepened when I heard him chuckle. I didn't see anything funny. We were recorded having sex.
"It's not funny. If you don't start deleting recordings, you and I won't be having nothing going on." I said in a serious tone.
"I'm kidding, babe. Felt like messing with you." He laughed.
I took the phone from my ear and looked at it crazy. "Are you lying? I'm so serious Carter."
"No, babe. I'm just messing. I do have cameras though. In the hall and in certain rooms. Most are outside the safe house." He said with a regular tone.
Sure.
"Your a childish bastard." I muttered with a roll of my eye.
There was silence and then shuffling on the other end.
"What did you say, babe?" There was a change in his tone. It was more dark.
I froze in my spot and then I realized what I said. The one word I was never suppose to say. The one word that caused me to get spanked. Shît.
"I said your a childish man." I lied.
Another silence.
Then, "Your a horrible lier, baby. I know what you said and when I return, that sexy ass of yours will be punished."
I swallowed. "I-I didn't do anything." I stuttered. My grip on the phone tightened.
"I'll call you later. We can discuss your punishment then." Carter said and without letting me respond, he ended the call.
I took the phone from my ear and looked at with a scary look on my face. I tossed the phone and sat there thinking.
Prepare for soreness.

PARIS
CARTER
I chuckled and slipped my phone into my pocket. It's been a few days since I left the safe house and Tiana.
I missed her.
I chuckled once again and my moment was taken when Riena decided to approach me.
She looked presentable and no doubt was she trying to impress me. The sway in her hips as she walked towards me was evident. If she wasn't problematic, I'd tell her she's stunning for my manners sake.
"Carter." A smile made its way to her lips as she stopped in front of me.
"Riena."
Her smile grew. "I happen to notice your sister is not here. I was hopping to talk to her but oh, well. I assume she's with your play thing."
There she goes. Problem maker.
"She is far from a play thing. Let's be civil, Riena. We don't want to cause a scene to all." I said to her.
She gave a small huff. "Well, your father and mother should be arriving at anytime with my parents."
I nod as I look around. A brief silence fell over us as I watched more people walk down the stairs.
"She really means something to you, huh?"
I sighed in irritation. "Why are you continuing your questions on her? She's none of your concern."
"I'm just asking my husband if he has feelings for another. Is it that hard to answer my question?" She continued on.
"It's simple to answer. If you really want to know then I'll tell you. She's my queen and I truly care for her. No harm will come her way as long as I breathe. As soon as I find a way to get out of the family arrangements, I will divorce you." I said to her.
Her face turning a dark shade of read. Her lips downward and eyes more dark. Jealousy and anger.
And I didn't give a single fvck.
"You know what, Carter,...." she paused. "That girl is going to get you hurt. You should have been got rid of her."
"That won't be happening. Despite our arrangement, I still hold a place special for her." I said.
She scoffed. "Really? Does she know your married to me or have you covered it up just like you covered up that girl from Switzerland? Does she know of her, Carter? Does she-"
I grabbed hold of her arm and dragged her out of the gala. This bîtch had a big mouth and I was tired of listening to her rambles.
"I hit a spo-"
I pushed her into the nearest closet and slammed the door behind me. "You talk to much." My words coming out lowly. I dug into my back pocket and grabbed my switch blade.
Her eyes went wide and she backed away. I stepped forward only.
"Y-You can't-"
"I can, darling, and you need to be taught to keep your fvcking mouth shut." I snapped before grabbing her and pulling her close.
Bet she'll learn.
