Taking advantage of the time that BaiLuoYin was sleeping, GuHai called JiangYuan.
"Ah, is this XiaoHai?" JiangYuan's tone sounded very surprised.
GuHai cleared his throat, "YinZi has been injured and is living with me."
"What? Injured?" JiangYuan immediately tensed up, "Where is he injured? Is it serious?"
"He's fine now." GuHai lowered his voice to explain, "The training missions have been too strenuous and his body was unable to tolerate it. So he's been here for a few days. But before he came, he did not request for leave from the leadership, so this could cause a bit of a problem."
JiangYuan immediately understood GuHai's intent. "Don't worry, I will explain it to the leaders and tell them that I missed my son so I forced him to stay at home for a few days. If they don't give me any respect, they have to at least give it to your dad."
GuHai satisfactorily responded, "Don't tell YinZi this."
"I know."
After hanging up the phone, JiangYuan was rather quite pleased. GuHai had willingly asked her for help. It seemed that GuHai has acknowledged her as his mother in his heart. Just as she was pondering about this, the door suddenly opened and GuWeiTing walked in.
"Oh, don't you have a meeting today?" JiangYuan surprisingly look at GuWeiTing.
GuWeiTing faintly replied on the side, "It's been temporarily canceled."
"Oh." JiangYuan turned back to look in the mirror.
"The Air Force just informed me that BaiLuoYin had been absent for a week without any explanations or reasons."
JiangYuan's action paused. She turned to look at GuWeiTing.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I took YinZi home."
GuWeiTing eyed JiangYuan with a trace of doubt, "You really took him home? How come I don't see him?"
"You've been out of town all week, how can you see him? He just left a while ago. I told him to go home to see his father. Then, I'll take him back to the military base." JiangYuan said it with such assertiveness that it sounded so much like the truth.
GuWeiTing groaned, "I just thought that he and XiaoHai might have mingled back together again."
JiangYuan looked on impatiently, "Can't your brain think of anything else? So what if they are living together? They are brothers and now that they have a business cooperation, that's even better! How come the taste is different when it's coming out of your mouth?"
"You're criticizing me?" GuWeiTing's face revealed a bit of unhappiness, "Who allowed you to take your son home without authorization? Do you not know that the military has its discipline? You always cause trouble, how will people see me?"
"You only think about yourself! How high are you going to rise up the ranks before you will stop?" JiangYuan says bitterly, "I can't even miss my son? Of course, when you want to see your son, you can easily just drive to his company, but when I want to see my son I have to look at people's faces, is it that easy for me?"
GuWeiTing did not want to hear JiangYuan nagging so he went straight to the kitchen and starting eating a cucumber.
"Who let you eat my cucumber?" JiangYuan is deliberately trying to pick a fight.
GuWeiTing looked down at the cucumber in his hand and then glanced at the vegetable basket, then casually replied, "Isn't there more?"
"This is the only thick and straight one. The others are not good."
GuWeiTing suddenly stiffened on the spot, you don't need to be so bold, right? Even if I did not come back for a week, you don't need to go so far as to ridicule me1.
1Note: there is an implied sexual joke here with the cucumber. The cucumber is in respective to GuWeiTing's little junior.
Just as GuWeiTing is hesitating on whether or not to take another bite of the cucumber, JiangYuan suddenly went into the kitchen and took out a cucumber. She angrily stared at GuWeiTing and then sat down in front of the vanity table.
GuWeiTing stared as JiangYuan cut the cucumber into small pieces while complaining on the side, "You see, this cucumber is crooked and thin, the cut-out pieces are uneven..."
GuWeiTing, "......"

At noon, GuHai got a call from GuYang.
"Where are you?"
GuHai got up and walked toward the toilet, "At the restaurant, why?"
"Come over here immediately. I'm in danger."
Just as GuHai was about to ask what danger, GuYang had already hung up the phone. GuYang has this bad habit of hanging up immediately after he has finished saying what he needed to say when he makes a phone call, not giving a care about others.
Getting back to his seat, BaiLuoYin is still eating.
"Go home with me this afternoon. You haven't seen my dad and Aunt Zhou for a long time, right?" BaiLuoYin asked.
GuHai was surprised for a moment. Then, he nodded his head in agreement.
"Okay! Father-in-law will not shoo me away, right?"
BaiLuoYin suddenly stepped on GuHai's foot, and then as if nothing happened, calmly says, "You still don't know your father-in-law and mother-in-law's temper?"
GuHai softly cough. Then, he lowered his head and continued to eat.
When they were almost done with dinner, GuHai turned toward BaiLuoYin and tells him, "YinZi, I need to go out for a bit. I'll be right back so you can wait for me at the company. Don't go wandering around!"
"Why are you not taking me with you this time?" BaiLuoYin wondered, "Since you're afraid that I'm going to run away, then just take me with you!"
"It's just a little work. I don't want you to go with me wasting your time."
BaiLuoYin stared at GuHai for a while, then opened his mouth and said, "Fine, then you can go!"

GuHai rushed to the hospital, taking the scar treatment ointment that YanYaJing brought him. The ointment has proved to be quite effective. BaiLuoYin had only used it for a few days and the scars on his hands have lightened. Thinking of GuYang's love of beauty, if he ended up with any scars, he will most definitely hold a grudge for life.
"I see that you're looking good, there's no danger!" GuHai looked at GuYang.
GuYang looked toward the door, his eyes full of hate.
"There is nothing wrong with my body. The main thing is that I can't leave. I have some business affairs waiting for me to deal with in Hong Kong but I have limited access even to the phone right now."
GuHai pretended like he had no knowledge as to why GuYang is in this predicament, "Why can't you leave huh?"
"Did you not see the few soldiers guarding the door?"
"Why are there soldiers guarding the door to your ward?" GuHai is still pretending.
GuYang's face revealed a trace of resentment, "I've no idea how I ended up provoking a Brigadier General."
GuHai softly coughed, "Then why did you call me here for? These people have guns and I'm unarmed. You want me to take them on (as in confront them)?"
"Who told you to take them on?" GuYang grabbed onto GuHai's arm.
GuHai put his ear near GuYang.
"I want you to be my substitute!"
GuHai looked toward GuYang with a puzzled expression, "Substitute?"
"Yes, substitute......" GuYang said cautiously, "Just like when I rescued you from the tunnel, but now we just switch positions. You wear these patient's clothes and stay here and I'll wear your clothes and go out. Don't worry. These soldiers won't be able to tell."
GuHai laughed sarcastically in his heart, I fooled you into being my substitute. Now you want me to be your substitute. What fucking nonsense!
"Relax, once he realized that you are not me, he won't make it difficult for you." GuYang did not forget to add on this sentence.
GuHai wanted to look up to the heavens and earth and shout, if he has not even realized that you are a fake (not me), how can I expect him to realize that I am a fake2 (not you)?
2 Note: GuHai is referring to how ZhouLingYun have not even recognized that GuYang is not him, GuHai. So vice versa, how can he expect ZhouLingYun to recognize that he is not GuYang. In short, it just means ZhouLingYun won't be able to tell difference between them.
"Let's do this!" GuHai kindly said, "I'll go to Hong Kong to take care of your business affairs for you, then you can be at ease and stay here to deal with this Brigadier General. I believe in your ability!"
GuYang bitterly responded, "You're going to see me die and not save me?"
"It's just that my abilities are limited!" GuHai patted GuYang's shoulders. He took out the small bottle of ointment, "Here take this. This medicine will help remove scars. Use it three times a day. You can start using it after your stitches are removed. This is all I can do for you."
GuYang took the bottle. He was so touched that he completely dispelled the idea of having GuHai take the risk of switching places with him.
GuYang, "Okay, you can leave!"
When GuHai turned to leave, his expression changed, you bastard, you even want to lie to me? Look and see who it was that dug up this hole for you to fall into!
As ZhouLingYun stepped out of the elevator, he saw a familiar figure.
Although he only caught the side of this person's face, GuHai's profile is so prominent that it can't be replicated. ZhouLingYun could recognize him at just one glance.
He turned to look toward the ward and sees that the soldiers are still guarding the door. There are absolutely no movements.
This time, ZhouLingYun is certain that it was GuHai that left the ward. There is no possibility of him suddenly slipping back into the room under his eyes. But, when he pushed the door open, he saw GuYang quietly sitting on the bed. He hasn't even changed out of his patient clothes.
What is going on? Is this place haunted?
ZhouLingYun steadily walked toward GuYang's bed. What he then said is beyond shocking.
"I just saw you leaving from the stairs, and yet you are sitting here now. That 'you' were wearing casual clothes, but this 'you' is still wearing patient clothes....."
GuYang took a deep breath. He was completely subdued by ZhouLingYun's stupidity.
"That was my brother! We are two separate people!"
ZhouLingYun's body jolted, "Your brother? You're twins?"
GuYang coldly responded, "Not twins, better than twins."
ZhouLingYun suddenly recalled the scene that occurred in the toilet that day, and also thought of the strange words GuYang have been saying these few days. He suddenly realized something suspicious. Using one hand to grab onto GuYang's arm, he asked, "You are not the President of HaiYin Technology Company?"
GuYang threw off ZhouLingYun's hands, "You got the wrong person."
ZhouLingYun's face turned green and then paled. He immediately followed up with, "You are not GuHai?"
GuYang's expression also changed, "Don't tell me that the person you wanted to catch is GuHai?"
By now, ZhouLingYun's face is completely green.
One look at ZhouLingYun's expression, GuYang instantly understood everything.
"ZhouLingYun, right? I will remember you! I also ask that you remember me, my name is GuYang."
ZhouLingYun is still unwilling to give up, "But BaiLuoYin said that you are GuHai, and I clearly remembered that day that you tricked me at your company, you were wearing these same glasses."
After saying that, he took out the glasses from his pocket and put in GuYang's hands.
GuYang grinding his teeth, his eyes emitted out a burst of chilliness.
