The more GuHai thought about it, the more it didn't feel right. So out of concerns for his wife, he got up in the middle of the night and drove directly to BaiLuoYin's dorm. Opening the door, the lights are on and BaiLuoYin is lying on his back in bed. On the ground is the broken love token. GuHai picked it up and his mouth raised into a faint smile. He steadily walked toward BaiLuoYin's bed.
BaiLuoYin heard footsteps behind him but he didn't open his eyes. Actually, he didn't even have any energy to roll over.
"You break it after playing with it. This habit can't be good!" GuHai happily said.
BaiLuoYin remained silent.
GuHai is still fiddling with that thing, "It's really broken this time. Completely unable to use."
BaiLuoYin silently contemplated, well it's a good that it's broken...it's good that it's broken...if it's broken, that's more than justified to throw it away.
"Fortunately, I brought a new one."
BaiLuoYin's body suddenly stiffened. He turned to look at GuHai and sure enough, in his hand is another similar toy.
"Fuck! Get lost!"
BaiLuoYin's curses sounded lifeless. He could only roar a couple of times and then shrunk his head back into the blanket.
GuHai is still trying to promote his company's product, "The material of this new product is more suitable than the previous one, with better flexibility. The design can do a lot of new tricks. And it does not require a password, just a fingerprint for identification. So it will not have the same problem as last time. Also, it does not need your fingers to activate. Having this thing on the side is like an ornament. No one will be able to tell what it is used for."
BaiLuoYin's heart turned bitter. He thought that GuHai came over in the middle of the night to comfort him. Who would've thought that instead, he brought over another harmful toy.
GuHai put his new product down. He removed his coat and conveniently got into bed, pressing one of his leg onto BaiLuoYin's lower abdomen.
BaiLuoYin miserably wailed, his forehead sweating out bullets.
"What's wrong?" GuHai is startled.
BaiLuoYin gritted his teeth and pushed GuHai's leg off, tearfully said, "it hurts......"
GuHai's expression immediately changed. He quickly lifted the blanket and carefully pulled off BaiLuoYin's pants. Seeing the wounded area, he could not help but feel a burst of throbbing pain. Not only was Little YinZi injured, all around it is red and swollen. Also, the skin around his thighs is chafed and bruised. It is definitely a ghastly sight.
"How did you become like this?" GuHai sounded like he was criticizing but tinted with it is a trace of deep sorrow.
BaiLuoYin bitterly pulled down the blanket, "What do you think? It has not been good since that day it was clamped. And then today, there was strenuous training with the mission mostly involving grinding the crotch area. How can I be so unlucky...?"
As BaiLuoYin was talking, he covered his face with a pillow. He really can't face this person.
GuHai twisted his brows and asked, "What was the mission?"
"Climbing a pole. I have to do five sets of going up and down a pole for a hundred times!"

BaiLuoYin's face turned green after he heard that, "What? You made my body temperature drop?"
"Yes!" GuHai said it as if it was a natural thing to do. "If I don't drop your body temperature, you won't want to hug me to sleep at night."
BaiLuoYin roared twice and immediately threw a couple of punches at GuHai.
"You have balls to find other people to get even? This is all your fucking fault. I'm blaming it all on you!!"
All these movements BaiLuoYin made were too big. He ended up pulling a sensitive nerve somewhere causing him to grimace in pain. He laid down with his hands firmly gripping onto GuHai's arms, persistently urging him, "You absolutely can't go find him, absolutely can't. If you go, I will ignore you completely."
This 'ignoring you' phrase was definitely more effective than any other cruel words. GuHai can only temporarily swallow his anger.
"Okay fine, I won't go. You just lay down and rest. I'll get some water to help you wash up and apply some medication."
GuHai wet the towel in the pot of water and carefully wiped BaiLuoYin's pained areas.
BaiLuoYin's forehead popped a few veins as he tightly gripped onto GuHai's arm, "Don't touch, don't touch......"
GuHai's expression looked even more painful than him. But no matter how painful it is, he still had to bear with it. So he pulled BaiLuoYin into his arms and embraced him, softly coaxing, "I still need to wipe it even if it's painful right? Otherwise, you will really get an infection. Then, it will be even more painful. Bear with it for a little while, just a little while......"
When BaiLuoYin felt that the pain has dissipated, he sighed, "Continue on."
GuHai's hand just reached over and a howl came.
Something that normally takes less than a minute to do, took GuHai five minutes to do. The more lightly his touches are in trying to clean the area, the more it tortured BaiLuoYin. Finally GuHai became harsh. Under BaiLuoYin's roars and curses, he painstakingly completed the cleaning task.
After applying the medication, BaiLuoYin is completely exhausted. His eyes are lifeless.
With paled eyes staring GuHai, "I hate you!"
GuHai lowered his voice, his face sorrowful, "I hate myself more than you hate me!"
After saying that, he hugged BaiLuoYin tightly in his arms, their hearts pulled together.
Just when BaiLuoYin was about to lose consciousness and fall asleep, the training alarm sounded again.
BaiLuoYin suddenly awaken. He grabbed onto GuHai's hands and looking very defeated, "I have to climb the pole again."
"You can't do it like this!" GuHai roared.
When BaiLuoYin was about to get out of bed to wear his shoes, GuHai firmly bounded him.
"You can't go!"
BaiLuoYin narrowed his eyes, "Military orders can't be disobeyed. If there are urgent missions, the consequences will be serious." He pushed GuHai away.
But this time, GuHai hardened his heart and was unrelenting. He didn't care whether this is a an order or not. To have BaiLuoYin suffer in front of his eyes is essentially impossible. Hence, without saying anything further, he swiftly lifted BaiLuoYin's body up, wrapped him in the thin blanket and put him into the car. Then, he quickly started the car and sped away.
Forty minutes later, they arrive at GuHai's house. BaiLuoYin was asleep in the passenger seat.
GuHai can't bear to wake BaiLuoYin up so he planned on carry him out of the car. But, BaiLuoYin woke up and subconsciously pushed GuHai away.
"I don't need your help. I can get out myself."
GuHai gently smiled, "I forgot to take your shoes."
BaiLuoYin hummed an "oh" sound, then leaned his body back onto the seat. Feeling a bit disoriented, he fell asleep again.
GuHai promptly carried BaiLuoYin horizontally (bridal style) out of the car. BaiLuoYin is more than 180cm tall, with his strong muscles and weight that is heavier than someone his size, to be able to carry him effortlessly like this and still be able to look down and adore this face, only GuHai could do this.
BaiLuoYin felt a rocking movement, he squinted his drowsy eyes to look at the handsome face in front of him, "why didn't you carry me on your back?"
GuHai already found himself a good excuse, "If I carried you on my back, won't it rub against your birdy?"
BaiLuoYin thought...once they get in the elevator, it will be fine. At this time, nobody will come out of their doors to see them. Thinking about this, he soon fell back asleep..... What he didn't expect was that GuHai did not get into the elevator. Because he wanted to hold BaiLuoYin for a while longer, GuHai walked up floor by floor carrying him. Of course, this is not really outer space. It is an outer space imitation cockpit designed for training astronauts. For a person like GuYang, who never had such professional training, to be held in a place like this is simply torturous. In GuYang's memory, he had only suffered two major hardships in the past 30 years1. The first time was eight years ago when he laid beneath the dark and cold tunnel. The second time is now, floating in this airtight compressed cockpit. In fact, the essence of these two sufferance's are practically the same. Both were to help GuHai in his time of crisis, to help him escape, thus he was forced to be a substitute.
1Note: GuYang is two years older than GuHai and BaiLuoYin (according to Book1, chapter 101). If they are currently 26-27 years old, GuYang should be 28-29. Not exactly sure how age is calculated here, but 30 is as indicated in the novel.
The only difference with these two instances is that, with the first time, he was well aware of it. But this time, he was kept in the dark.
GuYang didn't know how long he had stayed inside since he had lost all sense of time. He just felt a little hungry and wanted to eat something.
