JAKE'S POINT OF VIEW
Have you ever met someone who you instantly feel connected with? Someone that just gets you, someone that understands how you feel without you even telling them? Someone who I like your other half, someone who completes you, evens you out. Someone who is there when you need them, someone who has your back. The other thing that feels amazing with this too is that you've always got their back too, and the fact that they appreciate that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside- all of that cringe-y stuff.
I am so incredibly in love with this girl.
She is absolutely everything to me; I couldn't live without her now.
I've dated this amazing girl for two years now, and all I want to do is marry her. She knows me inside out, she knows my flaws, the negative sides to me. She knows how to deal with me when I'm sad, when I'm stressed, when I'm angry- she has my back no matter what. She is my everything.
She is so special.
All of these thoughts rushed around my mind as I drove through the night, Chance was in the back of the car fast asleep with his headphones in, y/n gazing out of the window in the passenger beside me. It was pitch black outside with the fickle lights of the city to our left which is what y/n was gazing at with admiration, her beautiful hair flowing down her shoulders while her soft lips curved into a smile at the view. My eyes flickered from her to the road every few second, unable to keep my orbs off of her. She was wearing my 'team 10' oversized sweatshirt which was black, along with some grey sweatpants and white Nike Airforces. Her her was still wavy from the curls she had put in yesterday, no makeup on her face- just the way I liked her. Natural; she was gorgeous naturally, so it made me even happier that she was comfortable enough around me to have no makeup on et cetera.
We were on our way out on a road trip which was around four hours drive away, Chance had insisted on tagging along which was fine by the both of us.
"You okay?" Y/n's soft voice asked, laced with care as she ran her thumb up and down the nape of my neck where my hair faded into the back of my neck. "Yeah, baby." I smiled, reaching out to hold her hand after she laid it in her lap.
Hours later, we arrived at the campsite where we were staying for three nights, setting the tents up then decorated them with fairy-lights. Y/n sleepily threw some cushions and blankets into the three tents with a view of a large lake, other people scattered around by us. "Let's get you to bed, baby." I said softly, hugging the poor sleepy girl from behind as her eyes battled to stay open, a small on her lips as her hands laid on mine. "I'm fine." She softly stated with a smile, turning around as my arms snaked around her arm, Chance played some chords on his guitar behind us by the campfire.
"I love you." She mumbled, leaning her head under my chin as she was a little shorter than me. I lent my chin on her head, laying a soft kiss on the top of her head. "I love you too, my love." I smiled, pulling back to gaze into her mesmerising eyes that never failed to enthral me. My head skipped several beats as she pressed her lips so incredibly softly, her soft hands cupping my jawline as she did so. After I pulled away, she smiled up at me, her eyes filled with contentment and comfort; like she was completely comfortable with me which was an amazing compliment I'd always wished for. I looked down to her sweatshirt of mine that she was wearing, the fact she didn't have to try to look beautiful. I am ridiculously in love with this girl to the point where it physically hurts, it scared me that I knew I couldn't live without her. "You're special..." I mumbled softly, kissing her warm forehead as the golden fire-light glowed up her perfect face. "And you're my special boy." She chimed, kissing my cheek before she wandered over to Chance, leaving me smiling like a moron as I saw her sit beside Chance, admiring the guitar he was plucking.
Y/N POINT OF VIEW
I sighed with contentment as I listened to Chance humming a tune while he strummed the guitar flawlessly, my eyes training up to Jake who was writing in is notebook I gave him which he loved writing video ideas in. His silver rings and black bracelets glistened in the star light, as well as the pale, blue moonlight while the golden fire-light made his stunningly-flawless face glow even more than usual. I am so deeply in love - I was deeply in love with him. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this boy.

'Y/N, will you marry me?'
'Y/n, I've loved you since' I scribbled through that one.
'Y/N, I love you with' Another sentence I drew a line through in my notepad, trying to figure out a way that was perfect to ask her to marry me. I glanced from my page to see y/n chattering away to Chance with a wide smile on her face. I smiled, glancing down to my pocket where there was a sqaure-shape from the ring box. She deserves the most perfect proposal in the universe, so I decided to go with my gut. I gathered some supplies and quietly headed down the jetty that stood over the lake, decorating it to the best of my ability.
I stood up after decorating, padding nervously over to Chance and y/n. "Love, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked, holding out my hand to help he rip with she accepted. We wandered down the wooden jetty over the large lake, sitting at the end which was decorated with fairy lights, blankets and pillows. "Whatever this is, I love it." She smiled, lighting up my world. "There was something I needed to ask you." I spat out the sentence I was terrified of saying, knowing I had to get myself into this proposal, other wise I would get myself to scared I'd just cower out.
"Okay.." She smiled, running her fingers through my blonde quiff.
I stood up, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath before getting on one knee. She gasped, covering her mouth before standing up, looking completely and utterly overwhelmed...I just hoped she was overwhelmed with happiness, not anything negative.
"Y/n," I began, chuckling breathily at my nerves. I glanced up at her, a tear dropping from her right eye which made me grab her right hand. "I love yous so incredibly much, it hurts. It scares me that I can't live without you." I softly said, my eyes teary. "Jake-y." She sobbed, gripping onto my hand with all of her might as I squeezed her hand back, her nails decorated with baby blue acrylic nails. "You know what?" I sniffed, wiping a stray tear from my cheek. "Stuff it." I smiled, shaking my head slightly.
"Y/n, you're special...so incredibly special.. You're the highlight of my life...you always told me you're proud of me which meant everything to me...and you asked me if I'd ever leave, and I promised I wouldn't..I meant it, 'cause here I am. You pick me up every-time when I'm low...so, will you make me the happiness man on the planet and marry m-" "Yes!" She cut me off, smiling as she sobbed with...happiness. "A thousand times yes." She cried, dropping to her knees as I cupped her cheek, kissing her softly as my lips were wet with her salty, warm tears of happiness. I slid the ring on her finger, her hand shaking in my own. "It's beautiful, Jake." She cried, kissing me once again as I chuckled, wiping more of my own tears, as well as hers.
"I thought I had felt happiness, but clearly not until I couldn't even finish my sentence of 'will you marry me'. I'm so glad you were eager." I smiled, kissing her cheek as she beamed with happiness.
"I love you so much." She chimed, looking from me to her ring with nothing but love in her orbs. She ran the pad of her finger over the diamond with a frame of silver, the ring fit perfectly. She sniffed, kissing me again.
"I love you three-thousand." She mumbled, placing her lips on my cheek. "I love you even more." I smiled.
