I was at my home when I, Rosé and Jennie were getting ready for our university.
We had the food Jennie made for us and as usual, it was delicious!
We headed towards our university and this time we went in Jennie's car since she picked up Rosé on the way to my house.
Once we reached there, I went straight to my locker, and suddenly a hand was slammed beside it.
Who could it be other than the one and only Park Jimin?
Y/N: What do you want?
Jimin: Nothing, just trying to end our enemity.
...
Y/N: Pfft- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Jimin: Wha- Why're you laughing!?
Y/N: You!? Trying to be friends!?
Jimin: Yeah maybe? Or maybe more than that?
He smirked.
Y/N: That's the last thing I'm ever gonna believe.
With that, I turned around and left that place.
Jimin's POV
Damn! This girl is so determined to never be friends with me!
Our enemity makes it hard for me to woo her.
But I have to do it.
Being her ex-best friend, I know a lot about her, even her deepest secrets which even her current best friends Rosé and Jennie don't know.
Like her past.
And that makes it a bit easier for me.
Since I know her ideal type.
Even though she's like those playful kinds of girls, her ideal type is a guy who's taller than her, but not so tall, just a bit. Just like me. He should be caring since she longs for care and affection.
She wants a guy a bit humorous. Well, I have to work that out, I can take help from Jin Hyung though.
No, wait, I'm the only one who finds his jokes funny.
What I mean is that I'm pretty much her type except for the whole playboy thing.
To be honest, though, for some reason, I only act like a rude jock in front of Y/N, just to piss her off.
Even though I'm doing this to teach her a lesson, a part of me wants to know how is she nowadays.
Like how much she changed.
I went to my class and sat in my usual seat, staring at Y/N and thinking of ways to woo her.
Then I realized...
She's my cooking class partner.
I can take that chance to flirt with her.
I kept on thinking of such ways and soon the first period ended.
Eventually, it was our cooking class. I don't even know why they keep such classes.
Maybe because it's a part of the arts. It is an art academy, after all.
But it doesn't bother me as long as I get to annoy Y/N.
I went to our culinary arts room and as expected, I saw Y/N at our seat, already preparing for the class to start.
I went to her and back hugged her, but the reaction to it wasn't as I expected it to be.
She got shocked, backed away and pushed me hard.
Y/N: What the hell are you doing!?!?
Jimin: Just trying to back hug you?
Y/N: No! I mean! Why the hell are you trying to hug ME!? Have you gone crazy or something!?
Jimin: Is it wrong to hug my friend?
Y/N: Since when were we frien-
???: PARK JIMIN AND LEE Y/N! OUT OF MY CLASS! RIGHT NOW!
Y/N was cut off by our culinary arts teacher.
Y/N: But-
Teacher: NO BUTS! GO! RIGHT NOW!!
As expected from our teacher. You see, she was known to be the strictest teacher in our whole academy. A single act of indiscipline and we're out of the class.
We didn't say anything and just walked out of the room.
Y/N: It's all your fault! Why would YOU, hug ME, out of all people!?
Jimin: As I said before, I'm just trying to be friends. I'm just exhausted with all the fights and arguments we have. Why can't we be friends?
Y/N: Because I hate you, and you know that!
Jimin: Why don't you just try being friends with me again?
Y/N: I... can't. Not with you at least.
That made me curious.
Jimin: Why?
I asked, pretending to be nonchalant, when I was actually very curious.
Y/N: Because... I don't know.
Ok, now that disappointed me.
Jimin: Anyways! Let's just give a try?
She looked at me with sparkling eyes which can captivate any guy out there if she wasn't so tomboyish.
Y/N: I...
I honestly had my hopes up at that.
Y/N: No.
Jimin: What!? Why not?
Y/N: Because I hate you more than anyone and anything! And being friends with you again will be the biggest mistake of my life!
Jimin: But it may not be.
Y/N: I don't care! I hate you! And I'll never be your friend no matter how much you try!
And with that she just turned her head and looked away, making a "Hmph!" sound.
Cute.
Wait, what!? Did I just think that she's cute!? DID I JUST THINK THAT LEE Y/N, THE GIRL I HATE, IS CUTE!?!?
I must be really tired then.
Next day...
Y/N's POV
Wow. Yesterday was weird.
I mean, why would Jimin suddenly try to be friends with me?
Maybe it's just another one of his huge pranks.
Or maybe he really does want to be friends again?
I mean, I do miss him. I really do.
But trusting him now as I used to do is difficult.
I can't trust him anymore.
But... Should I at least try?
Maybe. I'll just wait for now.
???: Yah! Where are you!?
I snapped back into reality by Jimin's annoying voice.
Y/N: What!?
Jimin: What are you thinking about so much that you couldn't even hear me calling you for nearly 10 minutes!?
Y/N: That's none of your business.
Jimin: Don't tell me, were you thinking about me!?
He wiggled his eyebrows and smirked.
Ew.
Y/N: Idiot! Detention is not a place for you to flirt!
And yes! We are in detention just because of this idiot.
How we got here? Well, he was trying to cling onto me like yesterday again and I freaked out while accidentally yelling at him.
Now since we literally had nothing to do and there was nothing in the room that we could use to pull pranks on each other, I thought of asking him a question.
Y/N: Yah idiot!
Jimin: What, monkey?!
Y/N: I'm not a monkey! Anyways, I wanna ask you something.
Jimin: Spill it.
Y/N: Why the hell are you so clingy on me all of a sudden?
I mean, he was the one who always tried to start a fight, you know?
Jimin kept quiet for a while and then finally opened his mouth to say something.
Jimin: It's because I'm so exhausted...
He looked pretty serious.
Y/N: Exhausted of what?
Jimin: Exhausted of...
He looked at me while I gulped.
Jimin: ...OF A MONKEY NAMED Y/N!!!
Wow. He actually got me there.
He started laughing hysterically.
I seriously hate him now.
Jimin's POV
I actually didn't want to tell her the actual reason.
Well, not one reason but two reasons.
The first one being the dare.
The second one is that I secretly want to go back to being friends with her.
I'm truly exhausted because of our continuous fights.
But then again, I still don't like her for leaving me like that.
I just- I don't even know why I'm doing this.
Is it because I hate her? Or is it because I want to be with her again?
I don't know.
I looked at Y/N while she was spitting out fire in rage.
Who are you to make me be like this?
