It's a shiny Sunday, a day to refuel my soul and be grateful for the blessings in my life. Sunday sunday... meaning it's Jhoana and Nico day tho magkaaway kami but I guess we will be okay later. He texted me to be prepared cause we're gonna go to church.
This week has been exhausting... got loads of work and then the party which end up as a total disaster and a hangover. Never again! Maybe I really need this JhoNico time. I was thinking to pass it but I he's persistent to make it up to me.
Last night dinner with Ate Ella was remarkable as I remember the most disastrous thing that I did. I kissed a random stranger, just because I thought that it was a dream and it's Bea. Of all the things that will happen to me. The worst scenarios and moments come in one day on a one person who I don't know but a good samaritan who helped me.
I don't know how to make it up to her. But I hope she can meet me up so I can personally thank her for saving my ass.
As I was being eaten by my own thoughts. I heard my phone ring which brought me back to reality.
"Hello?" Jhoana
"Love I'll pick you up by 10 am so we could have lunch before sunday service. I miss you." Nico
"A'ight I'll see you later." Jhoana
I dropped the call because my mood is not up for a chit chat calls.
I went to my inbox and checked if the person texted me back again but no luck. Maybe she blocked me because of what I did. Damn Jhoana what a really dumbass move! I still texted her. I'm hesitating if I should go to her imessage directly but I think I would invade her privacy??? I don't even know what to do anymore aaahhhhh!!!
I prepared my things and ate my breakfast before Nico picked me up and got a good long shower,good thing I woke up extra early so I can feel this warm long bath.. I wish I could stay here and relax. Badly need ni Madam ng relaxation kahit kagagaling lang ng vacation.
Workload and job order on weekdays is very tiring. Buti na lang yung studio namin tuwing weekends lang and so far wala pa naman kaming client. Buti di sumasabay sa workloads ko ngayon sa office.
We opened that studio for company portraits. It's really my dream job but photography doesn't pay my bills pa. I mostly took portraits of company CEO which Mr.Kudo recommended to his colleagues. I also have on call photographers when there's an urgent and big clients to handle. I am really living the dream life but minus the Mrs. De Leon....
Okay no need to drama. I should go to the cementery tomorrow. I have a lot of things to tell her. It's been years since I went to her kaya siguro napapanaginipan ko siya.
Anyways I got all my things and opened my playlist just to kill some time while waiting for Nico who is now late...which is really unusual.
I was kinda drifting off to sleep dahil late na ako nakatulog kaiisip sa kagagahan na ginawa ko when I heard someone rang my doorbell.
I lazily went to my door to get it. And it is Nico as usual. The man I've been waiting for 30minutes already.
"Hi Love sorry I'm late I was caught up to my Dad's errand naipit ako sorry. I didn't mean to make you wait." Nico
"It's okay, I was planning to sleep kung hindi tuloy." Jhoana
"No no... sayang naman outfit and preparation mo for this and I want to make it up to you for what I did yesterday. I shouldn't have said that. My temper just got short again... I'm sorry love." Nico
"It's sunday so yes I'll forgive you." Jhoana
"Ohh hahahaha thanks love. So come on? Let's go for JhoNico day. Where do you want to eat?" Nico
"Anywhere with you." Jhoana
"Cheesy mo today." Nico
"Last na yun! Balakajan let's go na." Jhoana

Ang bilis magbago ng mood hayy Thank You Lord for bringing Jhoana back to me. Long process and you know.. pero in the end sakin pa din pala siya. The best ka talaga Lord!
I hope everything that I heard is not true. That won't be possible right? The owner of Lion X Machina? Maybe kapangalan lang talaga. Well they are our biggest competitor advantage pa nila international company kaya siguro company nina Jhoana kinuha kasi big account.
As soon as I heard from Papa that the international company is gonna based here. Naging busy kami kasi once na malaunch yon dito pwedeng humina company namin.
My Papa said that the owner is Isabel Paras. Her name is quite familiar that's why I was shocked when I heard the company name that Jhoana said. Well it can't be, because she's dead for five years.
I am thirty minutes late sa pagsundo kay Jhoana because I had to meet up with my private investigator and the only thing that he can come up is Thirdy as the owner. Well the true owner doesn't reveal her identity yet. I need to wait for launch of her company before everything else.
It's quite odd that the owner is letting Thirdy be the face of it and also there's another woman who's behind it Bianca Floi is the name but she's an Atenean alumni too. Maybe the three of them are good friends. But I cannot think of their common denominator, nobody's linked between them. I guess I have to wait indeed.
I drove my car away from Jhoana's house.
Jhoana
My thoughts are flying and not minding that we are already here in Promenade to have lunch. He did reserve as a seat already so we can eat and not be hassle about it. Naghanap muna kami ng parking which is sobrang laki kung kumain ng oras sa dami ng sasakyan dito tuwing weekends and good thing there's a valet parking so we don't have to worry anymore, kinda pricy but time is ticking.
We walk our way to the restaurant and pick our orders and patiently wait for fifteen minutes.
So to kill some time we watched a live game on a tv. Premiere Volleyball League. It's Choco Mucho vs Motolite, Madayag and Tolentino vs Carlos and Molde. Feels like battle of Katipunan. And good thing my teammates won. I texted them and congratulated them for winning the game. It was actually last set of the game and run a smooth 15 score.
The game really did kill our time waiting for our food.
This is our typical sunday lunch. We're gonna eat somewhere with a tv and S+A channel whether outside, restaurant or on our own home. It is our Sunday routine. That's the thing about Nico he never failed to do this kind of thing every sunday even if he is busy in his work. That's what I love about him.
Our food is served and we eat quietly and peacefully.
After we stuffed ourself with good food, we are now going to our church. We still have thirty minutes before the mass start... kaya we walk hand in hand. Everything feels at peace today, my mind is now focusing on Nico and not the girl who saved my drunk ass.
I turned my self to the preaching Pastor. Sunday na Sunday anong iniisip ko. And truly indeed narefresh naman utak at kaluluwa ko after mass.
"So where to next?" Nico
"Ikaw? Where do you want to go?" Jhoana
"Hmm, let's play arcade, whatchuthink?" Nico
"Sounds fun, libre mo ko love?" Jhoana
"Huh???" Nico
"Dali naa, di tayo bati!" Jhoana
He pinch my nose after that.
"Fine stop being cute i might kiss you." Nico
Ay ang vogue naman sir hahahaha PDA naman tayo don.
We really went to the arcade just to kill some time cause we're gonna catch sunset at his condo's rooftop.
Ilang beses niya ako natalo sa basketball hindi niya man lang ako pinagbigyan, sobrang competitive lang.
"Ano na Jho? Lalaban ka pa?" Nico
"Yabang mo ah." Jhoana
"Joke lang love, are you hungry?" Nico
"No, let's just go home now? It's already four we need to catch the sunset." Jhoana
"Okay love wait lang ubusin ko na lang token..." Nico
Nag-ikot ikot muna ako sa loob ng arcade habang hinihintay si Nico. Not minding others business. I bumped into someone...
"Ouch" Jhoana
"Omg miss, I'm sorry I didn't mean to, are you okay?" .....
Her voice sounds familiar.
"Hon, are you okay?" a random guy said
"Yes I am. No need to worry Hon." ....
Familiar talaga boses nila kaya tumingin ako sa kanila.
"Oh my God! Jhoana it's you I'm sorry, we were kinda hurry and didn't look on my way." ...
"Hi Mommy Det! I missed you! Dad!!" Jhoana
It's Bea's parent who I bumped into. Didn't know they were here na pala.
"Are you alone hija?" Elmer
"Hindi po dad, I'm with someone..." Jhoana
"Oh do you have plans later? Maybe we could catch up for dinner." Det
"I would love too Tita but I have plans later, maybe we could resched it?" Jhoana
"Sure sure, I would love to see the lady eagles too." Det
"Maybe we could go to Lowel's restaurant. I'm gonna text you alright? Same number?" Elmer
"Yes tito, still the same number." Jhoana
"Alright we need to go now Jhow, it was nice seeing you. We'll see you soon okay?" Det
"Yes mommy, ingat po kayo ah. Sabihan ko na lang po sina Ate Ly about sa dinner." Jhoana
They hugged me after then they left. It was good seeing them after five years. Didn't know they went back from Paris. After having a moment in my head someone hugged me.
"Bigla ka nalang nawala sa tabi ko..." Nico
"I bumped into Mommy Det and Daddy Elmer on my way back to you." Jhoana
"Really? They are here? I thought they're not gonna go back here.. you know after." Nico
"Di ko rin alam eh. Niyaya nila ako magdinner kaso we have plans diba? So we better get going bago pa mawala ang paglubog ng araw." Jhoana
He kiss my forehead then grab my hand as we walk our way to the parking lot. Always his sweet gestures that I fall for.
Isabel
We're now at my doctor's clinic for the follow up and hopefully final check up.
"Hi, Isabel Beatriz Paras.. so today is your follow up right? We're gonna do a lot of test today and i hope you are not using your phone for you to rest your mind." Doctor Chase River
She's a good international doctor and she's been based here in Paris. She's with me from the start and I got progress.
"Yes Doc. I've been a good child here hahahaha." Isabel
After that little chitchat we start with the test. It took a couple of hours and I'm kinda dizzy after. All these things that I did, I hope it's worth it.
The result will come back after 3 hours. To kill some time, Me and Kuya Loel went home for me to rest. I'm not allowed to use any gadgets pa. That's why I proceed in my room and take a good nap.
Loel
I heard my phone ringing, it was Mom who was calling.
[Facetime]
"Hey Loel how's everything there?" Det
"Hey Ma, well Isabel is taking a rest now because the test exhausted her and the result will be in three hours pa. You guys? How's your Sunday date?" Loel
"Actually we went to our favorite restaurant in Greenhills. Me and your dad are enjoying our company. I was reading an article when I accidentally bumped into someone and guess who it is?..." Det
"Who? You seem happy tho" Loel
"It was Jhoana, I saw her there, I was asking her for a dinner but she has plans already. So I think we're gonna resched it with the Lady Eagles at your restaurant." Det
"It's okay Mom, you can use it naman eh. Just inform my secretary for the reservation sa hall. Is she with someone?" Loel
"Yeah I think she's with Nico eh, kasi kung sina Lovell yon or Jaja maybe she would join us for dinner." Det
"Maybe, you know he doesn't want Jhoana to have a connection with the De Leon but you guys kinda surprised her that you're in the Philippines." Loel
"Well she didn't ask about it so there's nothing to worry about." Det
"Anyway Mom I need to go, the Beast might wake up, I'll update you later about the result." Loel
"Okay bye son, take care of your sister and yourself of course, we love you." Det
"We love you too mom, regards to Dad he seems busy." Loel
"Yea busy with his sports, hang up now. See you soon." Det
I hang up the call and went to Isabel's room who's sleeping soundly. She really is tired of the test. Hopefully she's fully recover now. If the result is clear, it's time for the both of you meet and get back together to make up for the lost year.

We're now on our way to his condo to catch the condo. I thought there's gonna be a rain but God is letting me to see the sunset.
You know how bad your day was, it's still gonna end. I'm not saying that I have a bad day but I cannot be an exemption for the bad days. The sunset is the only thing I look forward at the end of the day.
At the rooftop.
Appreciating the beauty of the blue sky and the good sunset, I am looking at a breathtaking masterpiece. Everyday in my life I find the sunset a peace in my heart it just complete the mood you feel me?

"Oh hey love bakit?" Jhoana
"Random question lang love, how do you see yourself in the next five years?" Nico
"hmm ang random nga ano hahahaha well that's hard but I'm thinking, maybe I'm working and focusing in my studio. That's my passion eh, maybe I'll have an apartment of my own that time or a cute dog. Hanging out in the weekend with friends and family. I don't know I'm still uncertain of my future. How about you?" Jhoana
He backhug me.
"Me? I just want to spend my next five years with you on my side holding your hand. Because I feel that everytime I'm with you everything feels right. You are my future Jhoana and I don't want anyone more than you. I don't know if I can live without you...." Nico
"Ang random mo today ha? Hahahaha" Jhoana
He laugh also and just hugged me as we are watching the sunset.
Isabel
Three hours had passed and now we are on our way to the hospital to get the result. I'm kinda nervous about this. I got a lot of message from Bianca and Thirdy and Marco asking for the result but I'm too nervous to answer them.
We finally stopped at the parking.
"Are you ready sis?" Loel
"I don't know Kuya, what if hindi successful ang lahat?" Isabel
"It will be, tiwala lang okay? Let's go." Loel
I hold his hand for support as we walk our way sa clinic ni Dra. River
Kuya knock on her door and a smiling doctor is looking at us as Kuya opened it.
"Loel and Isabel please come in, I have the results now right on time." Dra. River
"Is everything okay now Doc?" Kuya Loel
I can't even speak because I'm nervous as hell. The doctor open the envelope she is holding and a tear left in her eyes.
"Doc am I okay now?" Isabel
"Isabel, I'll be straightforward to you. The result of the test is, YOU ARE NOW CANCER FREE." Dra. River
I closed my eyes afraid of what the result would be.
"Isabel, hey! Open your eyes now, you are cancer free do you heard me?" Dra River
I opened my eyes and see the result and it's true. I am now cancer free. Thank God, I hugged Kuya Loel.
Dra.River on the other hand as a family doctor is really happy about the result.
I dialed Dad's number to call him.
He pick it up after three rings...
"Hey dad, is Mom with you?" Isabel
"Yes I am, what's wrong? What's the result my princess?" Elmer
"Dad and Mom, I love you..." Isabel
"Hey Isabel tell me what's happening?" Elmer
I cried in front of the camera.
"Mom and Dad, Isabel is now cancer free..." Loel
It was a total dead silence until I heard a sob on the other line. My Mom and Dad is so happy right now and we are too.
We bid our goodbye to Dra. Chase River. While I called Bianca to inform her.
"Hi Bianca!" Isabel
"Wag mo ko i-hi I need to know the result the two boys are bugging me." Bianca
"Don't get your hopes up, but I am now cancer free" Isabel as I said that in whisper
"What? I can't hear you properly." Bianca
"I am now cancer free." Isabel
"WHAT THE THANK YOU LORD OH MY GOD GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE SO WE CAN CELEBRATE HUHUHUHU! Matutuloy na din wedding namin ni Loel." Bianca
"Alam mo epal mo di mo oras ha oras ni Bea to" Thirdy
"Nice way to kill the mood Thirds hahaha" Loel
"Yea we will be going home soon, we're gonna book our flight later okay? Gotta go now. Love you guys." Isabel
We are going home.
"You're going home Isabel, home." Loel

Naglalakad kami ngayon sa building ng condo ko papunta sa unit ko. Sobrang higpit ng hawak ni Nico sa kamay ko. Binuksan ko ang pintuan ko.
"Wanna come in?" Jhoana
"Hindi na love, you need to rest na you have work tomorrow." Nico
"Okay love good night, drive safe okay?" Jhoana
"Jho, I hope I am in your future too. I love you so much." Nico
I smile at him and he kissed me. "I love you" Nico
I have no words at all.
