The way Eddie woke up that morning was the most glorious feeling ever, He woke up next to Richie, the warm sunshine shooting through the frostbitten windows, cascading down the tall boys freckled face, he quietly got up careful not to wake Richie, he carefully walks down the stairs, he sees Stan and Bill talking with their backpacks on, "Good morning." He says his voice raspy as ever, "Morning." Stan says, "What time is it?" The small boy asks while rubbing his eyes, "It's 7:30." Bill says without stuttering, "So did you two ya know..." Stan asks wiggling his eyebrows, "What?! Ew no." Those words jump Eddie out of his sleepy state, "I'm not gonna do that for a while..." Eddie trails off looking at the tv that's playing good morning America, "Ugh I c-can't wait till n-next week." Bill groans, "Same" Stan agrees, "You coming?" Stan asks the boy, "Yeah, who's paying for a hotel though?" Eddie asks, "Bevs aunt, she's rich." Stan chuckles, "She's even giving us each $500 each." Stan says, "Holy shit, what does she do?" Eddie asks with wide eyes, "She's a gold digger, her rich husband just died." Stan explains, "Bevs aunt must love her a lot." Eddie notes, "While Bevs Dad got sent to jail, so her aunt is taking care of her for now." Stan says, "Come on its time for s-school." Bill says, you can tell he's been zoned out, "Ok see you later Eddie." Stan says, he grabs the dark haired boys hand, "Goodbye." Eddie says softly, he sighs after the front door shuts, Eddie doesn't like to be alone anywhere, issues with his past, "Ooo I got an idea." The boy smiles to himself, he quickly gets up and walks to the kitchen, he opens the fridge grabbing what he needs and setting it on the island, he starts off by buttering a pan and cooking eggs and bacon, he than walks over to the toaster and carefully setting 2 pieces of sourdough bread in, putting another 2 after, Soon enough he hears heavy steps following into the kitchen, "Good morning Eddie." The boy yawns, he rubs his eyes, suddenly a glorious smell filled his sense, "Did you make breakfast?" The boy ask, "Yeah...I hope it's alright?" The boy asks shyly, "It's perfect Eddie thank you." The tall boy gives a toothy grin, Richie wasn't one for domestic life, but In All truth, he'd do anything for Eddie kaspbrak, the small boy smiles in reply and shyly slides a plate Richies way, Richie takes the fork on the plate and takes a bite, the boys mouth waters as he chews the food, "This is the best thing I've ever aten." Richie says threw drool, "Really?!" The small boy says energetically while smiling, "Seriously it's amazing." Richie chuckles, "Thank you, my mama taught me." Eddie explains, "So, what's on the agenda today?" Richie asks after they've both finished eating, "Well, I'm gonna visit mama, you can come with." Eddie smiles, "You want me to come?" The tall boy asks shyly, "Well we don't know if she'll pull through, I think she deserves a chance to meet you, if that's alright." Eddie says eyes glossed over, "That's perfect Eddie." Richie smiles proudly, Eddie wants Richie to meet his mom, Richie won't admit it but....he feels special.
"Hi, I'm here to see sonya kaspbrak." Eddie says as they reach the front desk, "Names?" The man asks, "Eddie Kaspbrak and Richie tozier." Eddie reply's, "Alright level 2 room 14" the man says handing both the boys stickers with the word 'Visitor' on it, Eddie subconsciously grabs Richies hand dragging him into the elevator and down the hall, once their in the room marked 14, Eddie knocks on the door, they hear a slight come in, Eddie softly opens the door, poking his head threw, "Eddie bear!" A woman's voice can be heard, "Hi mama, I have someone I would like you too meet." Eddie says softly, "Well hurry up and let me meet them!" The woman says playfully, Eddie pushes the door in pulling Richie with him, "This is Richie tozier, He's my f-friend." The small boy stutters at that word, "What did tell I tell you about the trash?" The fat woman spits, "He's not trash ma, he's my friend." Eddie says, "Yes he is, you don't wanna get sick do you? He has stds and he does drugs!" His mother raises her voice slightly, "I do not! I'm a virgin I've never even had sex!" Richie defends himself, "And now he's taking back to your mother! Get the fag out of my room!" His mother yells, this bitch just used the f word "Fine but just so you know, I'm a fag too!" Eddie yells, he gets up from his mothers side grabbing Richies hand and stomping out of the room dragging Richie behind, "I don't care if that bitch dies!" Eddie shouts once their in richies car, "Wow Eddie calm down." Richie sets a Hand in the boy, "No, she's ruined my childhood, plus she called you t-that word." The boys eyes gloss over, "It'll be alright Eddie." Richie rubs circles on the boys back, "Richie i don't feel like it'll be-" he's cut of by his phone ringing, he quickly recognizes it as the hospitals number so he answers it, "Oh god thank you." Tears begin to fall down the boys face, "What's wrong?" Richie says as soon as he sees tears, "Mama went into cardiac arrest, the couldn't save her." The boy says dully, "Oh I'm so sorry Eddie." Richie pulls the boy in letting him cry into his shoulder, Richie knows this feeling, the feeling of being mad a someone, feeling nothing but anger, but suddenly their gone, and they'll never come back, and that's the part that sucks, because there's no heaven or hell, nothing is real, and you'll never see that person again, but Richie would never tell eddie, because Eddie has life left in him;
