I just kissed Taehyung. I can't believe it. My heart is beating rapidly. He wanted to take our relationship to the next level, but I'm not ready for that. Things are going way too quickly, although we wanted to take things slow. I guess we're just that much in love with each other. I make him temporarily forget about Haneul and him my nerve-wracking past.
Taehyung didn't need me to take me to the amusement park to get my mind off about what happened yesterday, the kiss successfully made me forget about it already. Because right now, all I'm thinking about it Taehyung's delicate lips and the way his hands glided along my back and arms. A smile plastered on my face and the butterflies in my stomach are fluttering non-stop, even as we're in the car.
"Still dwelling on the kiss we just shared?" Taehyung teases with a smirk.
"No..." I deny instantly. "I was just... just excited about going to the amusement park."
"Sure..." he says with a chuckle, as if he doesn't believe me.
"I am excited," I reply. "I haven't been to an amusement park in ages, I'm so glad we're going now."
Taehyung grins at me, "I'll make this a day you'll never forget. I promise."
"You better not break that promise, or I'll be upset," I say and he laughs when I put on a sad face.
Moments later, a giggle escapes my lips and Taehyung looks at me as if I've gone crazy, "What's so funny?"
I'm still smiling as I look at Taehyung, observing him. When did I get this lucky? My life was crashing and then I met Taehyung. We were just strangers who randomly met and started talking to get things off our chests, and now we've become lovers; when do things like this ever happen? I'm blessed to have met him and I wish nothing more than to be with him every day. To forget about my problems and to be happy forever.
"I'm just so so grateful to have met you, to be with you right now. You make me so happy," I admit genuinely. "I love you, Taehyung. I don't know how I would survive if I hadn't met you."
Tears are brimming in my eyes as I smile at him lovingly. I truly appreciate him and everything he has done for me. We might not have met for a long time, but deep down it feels like we've known each other for life. I feel as though he knows everything about me and I know everything about him. There are no secrets between us. I love how easy it is for me to tell him things; there is no pressure at all, as I know he would never judge me for the things I've done.
"Hey... don't cry... I love you too, Luna," he says sweetly and gently as he brushes my tears away with one hand, whilst the other is still gripping onto the steering wheel.
"Don't worry, these are happy tears. I just feel so euphoric right now," I mutter with a smile.
"I feel the same way about you," Taehyung admits. "I don't know how I'll get through Haneul's passing without you by my side. Without you comforting me and advising me, I don't know if I'll ever be able to move on from her. Talking to you has made me so much better. I'm so grateful that out of everyone, it was you who I met that night and it was you who I'm dating right now."
The smile on my face widens when he says that. His sweet words warmed me. All I can feel is warmth, love and contentment. Everything is else is kept away; the sorrow, anger and betrayal I felt yesterday is no longer here. Taehyung was the one who made me feel better and I didn't need to wish upon a shooting star to have met him. He's so much more to me than a star; he is the moonlight. He is the moonlight that is leading me to the moon; to the brighter future that is awaiting me.
I keep smiling for the entire car ride and Taehyung is too. We're just so glad to have each other.

We eventually arrive at the amusement park. I'm feeling extremely giddy and I'm beaming in delight when I take in my surroundings. Everything is so colourful and loud here. The roller coasters, the Ferris Wheel, the merry-go-round and all the other rides excite me. The little children running around, the families laughing together and the screaming from the people on the roller coaster makes me so joyful. I feel so carefree, I feel like I'm a little girl again. I close my eyes and I'm taken back to when I came here as I child with my sisters and both my parents.

My hair is in pigtails and multi-coloured clips. I'm licking a lollipop as I tug onto my mum's arm, pleading for her to go on the rollercoaster with my dad and Mina.
"Mummy, please? Come on the rollercoaster with me... please?" I beg her with a pout as I tug on her arm.
She has Rae-na in her arms, so as I'm tugging onto her, my baby sister is woken up from her slumber and she starts bawling.
"Look what you did, Luna," my mum scolds. "Now go with your daddy and sister, whilst I look after Rae-na."
I pout as I walk over to my older sister and dad. Mina takes my hand and I gloomily trudge to queue up to ride on the rollercoaster.
"What's the matter, sis?" Mina asks me.
"Mummy won't go on the roller coaster with us," I say as I look at the ground sadly.
Mina gently lifts my chin up, so I'm looking up at her, "Hey, Luna. If mummy went on the roller coaster with us, then who would look after Rae-na?"
"Mummy could just leave her on a bench to sleep. Mummy doesn't love me anymore, she's always only with Rae-na," I whine. "She doesn't care about me anymore. I want to go on the rollercoaster with her, I want our whole family to play together."
"Aww... Luna... of course mummy loves and cares about you. Don't you ever think otherwise. But, you must remember that Rae-na is only just a baby and mummy can't leave her alone," Mina assures me with a smile. "Did you forget that you and mummy did some baking yesterday?"
"I remember..." I murmur and wipe away the tears that were brimming in my eyes.
"So don't be upset, okay? Mummy loves you so much. She loves all of us," Mina says genuinely.
My dad lifts me up from the ground and into his arms, so I wrap my small arms around his neck.
He pecks my forehead, then says with a wide smile, "We're here to have fun. So don't cry. You're a strong girl, just like a princess, right?"
I nod my head and say confidently, "I'm Princess Luna and I'm strong."
"That's right," my dad says and he starts tickling me to get me to laugh and I do.
We're all laughing and smiling joyfully, with mum watching us from a nearby bench. We're like a picture-perfect family. A family with no troubles.

Although I miss those merry and carefree moments of my childhood, I feel the same delight with Taehyung right now.
I take hold of his hand and drag him through the crowds of people until we reach my all-time favourite ride, the Ferris Wheel. Its frame's pearly white paint is slightly chipped, which contrasts with its freshly painted rainbow-coloured gondolas. I feel so giddy and exhilarated as I grip onto Taehyung's hand and he just laughs at my child-like behaviour.
"Thank you for taking me here," I say with a smile. "It feels as if I've gone back to my childhood."
"I feel the same way," Taehyung admits as he glances up at the Ferris Wheel that's towering over us. "I feel like an innocent child."
Shortly, it's our turn to get onto the Ferris Wheel and I'm so excited when I climb inside the gondola and Taehyung takes a seat beside me in the cramped space. I press my hands to the window, as I look outside and see all the other people having fun and enjoying themselves.
The Ferris Wheel starts moving and I squeal, making Taehyung chuckle. From up above, the people look so tiny, they look like little dolls. I can see the entire amusement park from here and the sun is shining onto our faces as it hangs from the cloudless blue sky.
"The view is so beautiful. This is amazing," I say and turn to face him. "Come and see from my side of the window."
I'm startled when I come face to face with him, our faces just a few inches apart. I gulp nervously as he keeps looking at me and my hand accidentally brushes against his. But before I can move my hand away from his, he grabs onto it. I look into his captivating eyes, trying to find something to say, but no words come out of my mouth.
Before I know it, he's leaning in towards me as he slowly closes his eyes. My heart is beating like a drum and my mind is running wild with thoughts. I try to stay calm as his hand caresses my cheek and our lips are almost touching. However, before we could lock lips, the Ferris Wheel suddenly comes to a halt and the door opens.
Taehyung groans in annoyance that our moment was ruined as he pulls himself away from me. His hand is still laced in mine when we step outside the gondola.
"You already got your kiss this morning, so what's with the grumpy face?" I ask and giggle.
"Can't I get another kiss?" he asks with a pout. "I'm your boyfriend after all. I can kiss you as many times as I want."
"True," I say and he attempts to lean in for a kiss, but I scurry away laughing before he can do so.
He chases after me and so I pick up my speed and yelp when he gets closer to me. He eventually reaches me and wraps his arms around my body, so I can't escape from him again.
I screech and giggle, "Taehyung! Let me go!"
"Never," he whispers into my ear. "You're mine."
He brushes my hair to one side, then gently bites down on the side of my neck and begins to suck on the delicate skin. I yelp from his sudden action, not expecting him to be so affectionate in public.
"What are you doing?!" I exclaim. "Everyone is looking at us!"
"Marking you," he whispers into my ear huskily, which makes me tremble and gulp nervously.
"Let me go!" I say again, but he only tightens his grip around me and buries his head into my shoulder.
My heart rate accelerates, as he makes me so flustered and my cheeks are turning red. I gently touch the bruised spot on my neck and a small smile appears on my face.
