Michael: "I love your hair!" you say as soon as your boyfriend's face shows up on your phone. "Do you really?" he asks, fighting a smile as his cheeks redden. You nod enthusiastically and he laughs, blushing even more. "When you said you were dying it I was a little nervous, but it looks great!" you say honestly. "It's better in person," Michael mumbles, looking down. "I can't wait to see it," you reply eagerly. "I can't wait to see you," he adds, smiling. It was your turn to blush. "I gotta go, babe," Michael says sadly, "but I'll call you after the show!" You nod and blow a kiss before his face disappears.
Ashton: "This is my bed!" Ashton yelled, setting down his phone and climbing to the top bunk before picking it up again and looking at you. You were receiving a tour of your boyfriend's band's flat in London over face-time. "But it's missing you," he replied, frowning. You giggle and you know your cheeks are turning red. "Time to see the kitchen!" Ashton says, hopping from his bed and running to a new room. "Oh look," he whispers, "Luke is in there. Let's scare him!" Holding his phone so that you can see what happens, Ashton sneaks behind Luke. He yells, Luke jumps, and you laugh hysterically. "That wasn't funny," Luke said, frowning at Ashton. "We thought it was," Ashton laughs, nodding toward his phone. "Oh y/n!" Luke smiled when he saw you. "Ashton misses you so much! He thinks about you all the time and he talks about you all the time. He even talks about you in his sleep," Luke adds with a wink. "Okay!" Ashton interrupts, blushing, "time to continue the tour." He leaves the kitchen and a laughing Luke behind.
Calum: "What's up, Cal?" You ask your boyfriend over face-time. "Oh not much," he mumbles, "How 'bout you, babe?" You shrug. Silence follows and finally you ask, "Cal, is something wrong?" You watch Calum's lip tremble as he shakes his head no. You give him a look that says I know you're lying. "You can tell me," you prod gently. "I just -" he breaks off and sighs, looking down. "I just really miss you," he says quietly, looking up at you again, his voice threatening to break. "I miss you, too," you sigh as tears threaten to spill from your eyes, "but we knew this would be hard. You being gone." He nods glumly. "Calum, no matter how far away you are or how long you're there, I'll still love you, " you say seriously. He nods again, wiping a tear from his cheek and laughing. "Ugh I'm pathetic," he says, wiping another tear. You laugh and wipe away one of your own. "This is what being in love with you has done to me, y/n!" he adds with a deep chuckle.
Luke: "I can't talk long, Luke," you sigh to your boyfriend over face-time, "I have a ton to do. I have a huge history test tomorrow and a paper due Friday and I was supposed to clean the house yesterday but didn't have time and I'm having company Friday and -" "Babe!" Luke interrupts, "Breathe." You inhale and exhale along with Luke. "Sorry," you mumble. "Don't worry, y/n," Luke says soothingly, "I know you're stressed. Just forget it for a little bit alright?" "I don't think I can," you sigh, "I'll help!" Luke shouts in his imitation of a super hero. He starts pulling silly faces and talking in weird voices to get you to laugh until you've calmed down. Then he helps you to make a schedule for finishing everything necessary. Of course, he suggests breaks to talk to him whenever possible.
