Bill the Lizard is a notorious criminal boss in the rough parts of Wonderland, his kids were taken as a way to make sure not only would the royals not retaliate but neither would the criminals. their last name is an anagram of reptile.
the Dormouse is part of the Queen's court whose specialties are sneaking, spying, and if so infiltrating the enemy as a double agent. her small size made people see her as less of a threat, and that made them underestimate her. her child, Drue, is not like their mother, very shy and not a big fighter. but they have other strengths too. their full name is an anagram of Dormouse.
