Calum
I walked into the living room and sighed at the carnage that came with Calum trying to build the new furniture for the apartment that we shared on his own. I sat down next to him.
"Damn, why does every piece of furniture from IKEA always seem to have something missing?" he groaned, lining up a screw.
"Fuck." He muttered as the screw slipped.
"Why don't I just call my brother? He built all the furniture in his house." I spoke.
"No. I don't want to meet your brother like that." He sighed.
"Like what?" I asked.
"Like the sister's roommate who can't build a fucking coffee table without needing help." He huffed. I chuckled as I stood up and patted his shoulder.
"There's no shame in it, it's not like we're dating." I spoke.
"It's still embarrassing, Y/N. One of the unwritten rules among men is that you don't ask another man to help you in building furniture." He muttered.
"I've never heard of it." I chuckled.
"That's because it's unwritten." He spoke, focusing on the screw in his hand.
Luke
"Y/N!" Luke called.
"Coming." I spoke as I walked into the living room.
"It's my choice of movie tonight, and I pick paranormal activity." He grinned.
"No! You know that I hate horror films." I whined.
"Don't worry, Y/N, you can cuddle me, and I'll protect you from the mean spirits." Luke chuckled, sitting down on the sofa. I smacked his arm lightly as I sat next to him, swinging my legs over his lap.
"You got the popcorn?" he asked. I nodded, holding up the bowl. An hour later and I clutched the popcorn closely to my chest, waiting for the next jump scare. Suddenly, Luke zapped me. I screamed and jumped up, making the popcorn fly everywhere as Luke laughed his ass off.
"Luke! You asshole!" I yelled.
"Sorry, Y/N, I couldn't resist." He laughed.
"I'm not watching the rest." I huffed as I stormed out of the room.
"No, stay, I want to cuddle." Luke whined as he chased after me.
"You should have thought of that before you scared me-Luke!" I squealed as his arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up, carrying me back into the living room.
"You're watching the rest, Y/N." he chuckled.
"No! It'll give me nightmares." I huffed.
"Then you can sleep in my bed." He smirked as he put me down on the sofa.
"God, you're such a fuckboy." I mumbled as he pressed play.
Michael
I stood at the stove, cooking breakfast as Michel walked in, holding his head as he groaned loudly.
"Morning sunshine." I joked.
"What happened last night?" he asked.
"Well, you went out with the boys at around 8:30pm, and you came back around 4:15 this morning, stinking of tequila and vodka." I explain, grabbing an aspirin from the cupboard and filling a glass with water.
"My god, I haven't had a headache like this since I was seventeen." He mumbled.
"Open." I demanded. He opened his mouth slightly, enough for me to place the aspirin on his tongue.
"Drink." I spoke, putting the water to his lips.
"What would I do without you?" he sighed.
"You would hook up with some random girl, and then would find out nine months later, that one-night stand resulted in triplets." I joked.
"Funny." He grinned slightly before resting his head on the table.
Ashton
I wiped the dust off of the top of the cabinet, trying to get it as clean as possible. I looked around, not able to see Ashton.
"Ash?" I called out. Nothing. I carefully climbed down from the stool and took off my gloves. I wandered through the apartment, trying to find him. I grinned as I saw him.
"Err." He groaned as he cleaned the sink.
"Ash, I said that I would do the bathroom." I chuckled.
"I wanted to save you some work." He shrugged before his face twisted again as he pulled hair out of the drain. He held it up and looked at me.
"Okay, that's not mine, you shave at the sink." I chuckled.
"Yeah, but...don't you shave?" he asked.
"In the bath." I nodded. He fake-gagged, making me laugh.
"Just wait until you get to the toilet." I grinned as I left the room.
"ERR!"
Michael
I stood in front of my mirror, admiring how my body looked in my dress. I turned around and nodded in approval.
"Wow." I screamed as I whipped around to see Michael smirking at me as he leant against my doorframe.
"Jesus, fuck, Michael! How many times do I have to tell you to not do that." I hissed.
"Sorry, I just like seeing you jump." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.
"Why are you dressed like that, anyway?" he asked. I sighed.
"If you must know, I have a date tonight." I spoke, looking back at the mirror.
"Well, that's good. Finally getting back out there after-."
"Don't even say his name." I mumbled. Michael sighed.
"Y/N." I turned around and raised my eyebrow at him.
"You look beautiful." He smiled gently. I returned it before he left the room.
I sighed as I climbed out of my heels and started to unzip my dress. I looked back over the text that my date had just sent me, standing me up. I grumbled to myself as I dug my pyjamas out and climbed into them before walking out into the living room. I slumped onto the sofa next to Michael.
"You ready for your-woah, what happened?" he asked as he looked at me.
"He cancelled the date." I mumbled. He sighed before hugging me tightly and pulling me onto his lap.
"I'm sorry. It's okay, there are plenty more fish in the sea." He spoke gently.
"Thanks, Mikey. I just want to stay home with you and watch a movie or something." I sighed.
"That's fine by me." He nodded, kissing my cheek before turning back to the TV.
Calum
"Y/N?" Calum yelled.
"Yeah?" I shouted back as he walked into my room.
"Okay, good, I was just making sure that you're not naked or something because I'm about to go live on Instagram, and the last thing my fans need to see is my naked roommate." He chuckled.
"I might take my top off, just to get you banned." I teased as I started to pull my top off, showing a bit of my bra.
"Keep your clothes on, Y/L/N." he laughed before leaving my room. I chuckled and shook my head as I pulled my top back on and walked into the apartment.
"Hey, guys, Cal here, now, I've just moved into a new apartment, so I thought I'd give you guys a tour, as well as answer any questions you guys have, so comment away." He smiled before putting the camera on me.
"Say hi to the camera, Y/N." he smiled.
"Hey, camera." I chuckled and waved.
"What a dork." He teased, making me gasp and laugh as he walked through the apartment.
"Oh, we have our first question. Why don't you live with the other guys?" he read out as we walked into the kitchen.
"Okay, so, as many of you know, I used to live with Ash and obviously, I've lived with Mike and Luke too, and as much as we love each other like brothers, it gets to be a lot when you're working together, going on tour together, and living together, so as much as we love each other so much, we just need breaks, hence why we don't live together, and hence why I moved in with this little lady." He smiled again as he put the camera on me.
"Oh, this is a good one. Are you and Y/N dating?" he read out before looking at me.
"You want to answer this one?" he asked.
"They're your fans." I shrugged.
"So, no, we're not dating, what many people don't know is that Y/N is the fifth best friend who just never joined 5sos, and we're all best friends with her, so I love her, but like a sister, not as a girlfriend." He nodded as I stood up.
"Yeah, this is the only way I'll kiss him." I spoke before taking his face and kissing his cheek.
"Aw, thanks for that." He chuckled, making me smile as I left the room.
Luke
I opened my eyes and yawned as I stretched out. I looked at my alarm clock to see it reading 7:45. I looked at Austin's crib that stood against the wall and frowned slightly as my son wasn't in it. I grabbed one of Luke's hoodies and put it on over my pyjamas before heading out into the rest of the apartment. I walked into the kitchen and smiled at the sight of Austin sat in his high chair, eating Cheerios off of the tray as my best friend, Luke, stood at the stove, cooking breakfast. Austin squealed and reached his arms out for me, alerting Luke to my presence.
"Morning you." He chuckled as I walked in.
"Hey. Thanks for getting him up for me." I smiled as I gently stroked Austin's cheek, making the one-year-old giggle.
"It's okay. I heard him crying at six this morning, and you were out like a light, so I figured that he'd had one of his late nights and that I should probably get him for you." He shrugged, flipping the pancake that he was cooking.
"You know, you act more like a husband and a dad than a roommate and an uncle." I chuckled.
"Well, what can I say? I love you like a sister and I love him like a son." He smiled. I returned it as I hugged him, making him wrap an arm around me and pull me into his body.
"I need to start getting ready, I need to drop Austin off at day-care soon." I mumbled as I moved out of Luke's arm.
"No, it's okay, I'm leaving for the studio in half an hour and it's on my way, so I'll take him." Luke shrugged.
"Luke." I sighed.
"Honestly, it's fine." He chuckled.
"But I feel like I'm forcing you to do these things, we're only roommates, all you have to do is pay half the rent each month, but now, you're full-on parenting my son with me, and I really appreciate it, but I also feel bad." I groaned.
"Hey." He chuckled, taking my face in his hands.
"I wouldn't do any of it if I didn't want to. I help look after Austin because I love you and him so much. I wouldn't even offer to do any of it if I didn't want to. Don't you worry your cute little head about it, okay?" he smiled. I sighed and nodded.
"Okay." I spoke.
"Good." He smiled again before kissing my head and going back to breakfast.
Michael
"Michael?" I called out as I walked through the apartment and to his bedroom door.
"Michael?" I asked as I knocked on the door. Nothing. I sighed as I opened the door.
"Mikey, can I-OH MY GOD!" I screamed as Michael quickly rolled off of his girlfriend and they rushed to cover themselves with the sheets.
"Dude, get the fuck out!" he groaned as I shielded my eyes.
"My god, I am so sorry." I gulped, trying to stifle my laughter as I shut the door.
I sat on the sofa, watching TV. I looked up and tried not to laugh as Michael and Alisha sheepishly walked along the hall into the room.
"See you later, babe." Michael smiled, gently kissing her as he opened the door.
"Bye, Alisha." I waved.
"Until next time, Y/N." she chuckled before leaving. Michael shut the door and looked at me.
"I am so sorry." I laughed as I stood up.
"I cannot believe you walked in on me having sex with my girlfriend, I never even go near your room when Justin is over." He groaned.
"Dude, I'm sorry, I needed to use your charger and you weren't answering, I didn't know you were balls deep in Alisha." I chuckled.
"Y/N, we're twenty and have been going out for six months, what do you think happens when we see each other?" he sighed.
"Netflix and chill, obviously." I laughed, making him roll his eyes.
"I hate you so much sometimes." He chuckled.
"Nah, you don't. Put a sock on the door next time." I smiled as I sat back down.
"Yeah, I will." He scoffed as he slumped down next to me.
Ashton
I opened my eyes slightly and shivered as I pulled the covers up to my nose. I shivered again, making me groan as the added coverage wasn't making me any warmer. I opened one eye to see the time: 2:15am. I groaned as I threw the covers off before leaving my room and padding along to Ashton's.
"Ashton?" I spoke quietly, knocking on the door before opening it.
"What?" he mumbled, his eyes still closed.
"My radiator is broken again, so I'm in here for the night." I sighed as I walked to the empty side of his bed and climbed in. I lay down so that my back was facing Ashton's chest and I smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer.
"Can you fix it in the morning please?" I whispered.
"Your radiator? Uh huh." He mumbled in his sleep.
"Thank you, Ash." I whispered. I didn't get a response.
"Ash, I can't sleep." I sighed.
"Close your eyes, then." He muttered, making me giggle as he moved his hand over my eyes and closed them for me.
"I still can't sleep-."
"Y/N, I love you like a sister, but please shut the fuck up, cuddle me, and try to sleep." He chuckled tiredly. I returned it as I snuggled further into his chest, making him wrap his arm more securely around me.
"Goodnight, Ash."
"Goodnight, Y/N."
