The ball went towards you and you hit the ball with ease. You land land on your feet and pump your fist out. You see Hinata and immediately you went up to him and ruffled his hair
"Good job sho! You made them fall for it hook line and sinker" you said while smirking
(Some where in Fukurōdani Bakuto got a feeling of being praised)
While Hinata was being praised you got a feeling someone was glaring at you and the team. For a reason you don't know, you are somewhat good at sensing if someone is glaring at you. You shit your head and saw that the captain was glaring at Hinata. You intensify your glare making him shiver in his place
"Great job out there (l/n)" you turn around and saw Ennoshita
"I should be telling you that! The received you did was freaking amazing!" You said while Nishinoya nodded at my statement.
As of now, you are at the mid-point so you and the team switched sides with the opposite team. The game continues and the captain quickly spikes but was shut down by Tsukishima and now we are at a tie
Ennoshita serves next but the ball was quickly picked up and returned with another spike and unfortunately the captain sent a long ball over the net. You and him joust but fortunately you easily push the ball over smirking.
But luckily for them one of the players save the ball. Once again one of the player got the next hit and once again sends it to the captain and he did another block-out.
During the time-out, you were drinking water while looking at the other team, you being a nosey person you listen in to what they were saying. What you heard was "successor" and "giant", immediately you knew what they were talking about which made you surprisingly ticked off
Kageyama being the lovely boyfriend he is, noticed you being ticked off. From experience he knew how to calm you down after many unfortunate events, he learned that If he pats your head it somehow calms you down.
You grip you water bottle almost breaking it when you felt someone patting your head, and for a reason you don't know you felt calm. You looked up and saw the Kageyama was patting your head while not looking at you
You smiled sweetly and just relax at his touch. You looked at the score and it had 20-19 meaning Karasuno is at the lead.
"I have a message from coach" you looked and saw Tsukishima
"Kageyama you have to consider passing to Asahi and her more" he said
"I have a name you dibshit" you said angryly
"Oh sorry I mean asahi and miss gorilla over here" and that was it you pounce at him and basically attacking him, but to your dismay he was used to this and just stood there unimpressed
Finally Sugawara the mama of the crows came and got you off Tsukishima. You hear the whistle indicating that the match has resumed
"I know that Tsukishima is-"
"I have to go suga I will hear it later" you smiled at him and went back to the court.
You get into position and start the match. You send it , and immediately Karasuno executes a synchronized attack. You run in the same time and pretend to jump to spike, the ball was sent to Ennoshita who was able to successfully spike as you saw the captain unable to receive it properly
Asahi was to serve, but to what you told him not to do when jump serving, he puts too much force into the hit and the ball goes out. The game continues and the opposite team was to serve, to your luck the ball was sent to the side of the court and luckily now Karasuno is at match point.
The team rotates and Tsukishima was to serve. He serves and the ball was picked up by their libero. And the ball was sent to the captain who tricked Karasuno by doing a faint
"Damn!" You mumbled
As the game continues, long story short Hinata goes a little too crazy with his jump when he did the quick attack but fortunately he realized it and changes his position and hits the ball with his last hand
The captain aims to do the last hit as you and Hinata attempt to block. You see that he was going to do another block-out so you try to move your hands into place but yet again he spikes it against Hinata's hand and the ball went towards outside of the court.
To your and everyone's surprise Ennoshita jumps in and hits the ball back to Kageyama, with a new chance, you ready yourself and run up for your special quick.
You easily spike it and curve your hand and hit the ball, the ball was sent flying and mid air it changed and finally you see it hit the floor and hear the all mighty whistle
You land on the floor and realized that you just won the match, you eyes widen and excitement builds up, you turn your face to kageyama who did the same. Like a train you smiled and ran up to kageyama and jump on him.
"We freaking won damn it" you shouted and kageyama just faintly smirked while holding you
The team came running and immediately rushed in to hug you and Kageyama, due to the amount of force you all fall down to the ground laughing
After that ordeal you all get your stuff and are ready to leave, you look at Hinata and Kageyama and they seem to be fighting. Sugawara who was beside you was about to stop them
"Both of you-" you stop him
"Let me handle this one" you said evilly which made chills run down Sugawara's spine
You looked over and saw that Kiyoko was holding two books, you went up to her and asked for it to which she gave to you, you walk over to them, who are surprisingly still fighting and didn't notice your presence
You roll the two books and put one book in each hand, just in time you smack them both in the head
"Ow!" You both shouted
"That's what you get when you just keep on yapping" you said while hitting them again.
The door that was next to you three opened and to your surprise Tanaka, Yachi and Diachi came out
You and the team go around to him and asks him questions like "are you okay" or "did you get enough rest" and what not. He said that he was watching the game when he finished
You smiled and just saw his bruise on his cheek which made you a little guilty, he noticed that and went to you and ruffled your hair
"You did amazing" he said to which you smiled
"Did you did amazing my little student" you looked and saw Tanaka
"I did better than you" you said sarcastically while putting a hand on your hip
"Is that a challenge" said that gangster looking senpai
"I guess it is" you smirked while he looked determined
"Come on you two let's watch to see who we will be up against" said Ennoshita while trying to break up you two
You all get a seat on the stands. You sat between Kageyama and Hinata, who were both furiously eating their yogurt while you just smiled at them eating. You lay your head on Kageyama's shoulder and watch as the match between Aobajohsai and Date tech begin.
