Tooth's POV
I was walking down the hall on my way out of school when Noah ran up to me breathlessly.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Jack." He gasped.
"What happened? Is he ok? Where is he?" I asked, grabbing his shoulders. He chuckled slightly.
"He's fine, other than the fact that he's been shot with Cupid's arrow."
"What?"
"He's in love!"
"Oh." I let go of Noah and shouldered my bag a little higher.
"Isn't it amazing?" He said excitedly.
"I guess."
"And guess who the lucky girl is?"
"Do I really want to know?" I started to walk down the hall again. Noah followed me.
"You!" He burst out. I stopped walking.
"Jack is in love with me?" I asked.
"Yeah. At least, I think so. He didn't exactly tell me."
"But you're pretty sure?"
"Yep. He said that she doesn't even notice him, and she couldn't be with him."
"But everyone notices Jack!"
"Well, but you're the only one who he could never be with."
"Because of the guardians." I realized. So what would it be? Jack, or the guardians?
"Thanks Noah. Catch you later?" I said.
"Sure. Bye, and good luck with Jack!" Then he ran back the way he had come.
Jack's POV
I was sitting at the table with Noah in the lunchroom, when Tooth suddenly say herself at our table. She smiled and batted her eyelashes at me. Ok...?
"Hey Jack." She said.
"Hi Tooth." I said.
"How have you been?"
"Fine. Same as usual."
"Me too! Do you have any plans for this week?"
"Not really. Me and Noah are going to be working on our movie though."
"Sound cool. Do you guys need any help?"
"Since when have you wanted to help us?"
"I think it's a great idea! Tooth can be Annabeth." Noah burst out. I looked at him.
"You want Tooth to be Annabeth?"
"Totally! And you could be Ben."
"Can I talk to you alone please?"
"Sure." Me and Noah stood up and walked a little ways away. When we were out of earshot, I grabbed his shoulders.
"Why are you trying to set me and Tooth up together?" I demanded.
"Because you guys are in love." Noah said.
"What are you talking about?"
"You like her, she likes you, it's all good."
"You told her I liked her?"
"Maybe."
"How could you do that? I don't like Tooth! She's an annoying dentist!"
"It's true! Don't try to deny it!"
"I can't stand Tooth!"
"If it isn't Tooth, then who is it?"
"I'm not telling you."
"If you don't tell me, then I know it is Tooth."
"It isn't Tooth."
"Jack and Tooth sitting in a tree. K-I-S-"
"It's Elsa!" Noah stopped and looked at me strangely.
"Elsa? Out of all of the girls in the world, you chose Elsa? The one girl I hate?"
"It's not like that-"
"No. We're through. I could understand Tooth. But Elsa? We're definitely through." With that, Noah stormed away, leaving me alone once again. What had I done?
