You hurriedly rushed into the building as you pulled out your highlighted scripts.
You were heading to the conference room where a table read was going to be held. A table read was basically where all the actors and actresses go through the script together. You still haven't met any other people who were starring in the drama other than Jisoo.
You eagerly walk in the elevator and tap your foot as you wait for the elevator doors to close.
"Wait!!" A voice calls out and you instinctively press the open button of the elevator so it wouldn't close
A masculine figure enters the elevator doors. As he steps in you immediately recognized the man in front of you.
"JIMIN?!" "AREUM?!"
You both shriek and stand there initially shocked at each other's presence.
"Are you acting for a character in this drama?" He questions with his eyes wide
"Are you one of the actors in this drama?" You answer by questioning him
"Yea I'm going to the table read" he says
"Ah I can't believe I'm gonna be acting with you!!" You say excitedly
"I'm happy that you got the part in this drama, I heard a lot of people auditioned" he mentions
Ding
The doors of the elevator open and you both realize that this was y'alls floor.
You and Jimin walk out and enter one do the rooms in the hallway.
You both enter the room to be greeted by a long table with empty chairs.
"I think we both came a bit too early" Jimin says laughing
"Yea, what do we do now?" You ask turning to him
"Mm... I guess we can go over our lines and get the feel of it, what character are you playing?" Jimin says
"I'm playing Ara" you answer
"Really?! I'm playing Minhyun, Ara's lover"
You were completely shocked, you slightly feel at ease that the actor you were working with was someone you knew.
"Should we go over the scenes?" He says
"Yea let's start" you agree
You both go through the scenes pretty quickly and smoothly.
The next scene is where Minhyun confesses to Ara.
"Wait up Ara!" Jimin acts as he grabs your wrist
"What do you want?" You scoff
"Ara, come on why are you so upset?"
"It's nothing" you dryly scoff
"I know you too well, there's something on your mind I know it"
"Just leave Minhyun" you attempt to push his hand away
Jimin acts out the scene by gripping on your wrist slightly tighter and pulls you closer to him
"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong" he says into your ear
Your body physically shrinks as his soft voice tickle your ear sending tingles through your body
You try pushing him away with your hand but he wraps his arms around you so there was no more space between you too
"Are you mad because I was dancing with another girl and not you?" He smirks confidently
"No" you avert your eyes away from contact with his
"I know you like me Ara"
"I-I don't-" you stutter
"Why can't you admit it?" He asks
Your cheeks were burning at Jimin's acting, it felt so real and emotional
"What do you want me to say?" You say frustratedly
"I love you" Jimin says pulling you where you are looking into his eyes
You stand there like a little puppy staring deeply into Jimin's eyes and slowly get lost.
"Areum!" Jimin tries to get your attention
"Oh I'm sorry"
You come back to reality as Jimin was shaking you.
"I kinda got lost" you say trying to avoid eye contact
"Ah it's fine, you're not too bad at acting" he compliments
A knock at the door interrupts your conversation and Jimin goes to open it
A lady from the production team walks in with files and folders in one arm.
She greets the both of you and announces
"We still have not found the perfect character to play the role of Ara's childhood best friend that is in love with her"
"We are currently having to extend the schedules for this drama due to this problem"
"So what are we going to do while we wait for the team to find an actor?" Jimin asks
"We are planing to have a photoshoot for the drama preferably tomorrow, so you may have the rest of the day off today" the lady answers
You and Jimin walk back down to the lobby of the building. You were riding home with Jimin in his car.
"What do you think of the drama?" Jimin asks you with his eyes on the road
"Mm, I think it's really interesting especially Ara and Minhyun's relationship. They seem to have a hate and love competitive relationship, the story has lots of plot twist and drama filled events. I'm pretty excited to shoot these scenes" you say
Jimin and you continue to talk about the drama on the way home.
"We're home!!" Jimin yells as he steps in the house
Taehyung and Jungkook were playing video games on the couch. Namjoon and Yoongi were in the studio working.
Jin was cooking dinner and asked
"Where have y'all two been?"
"We were working on the drama" Jimin replies as he grabs a water from the fridge
"Oh y'all are both acting in the drama" Jin says
You both explain the situation with the team trying to find an actor for the role.
"Hyung why don't you audition for the part?" Jungkook walks from the living room over to the kitchen to grab some snacks
"Ah I'm already busy working on a movie I'm acting in, if i had time I would" Jin
says
"Well I hope they find an actor to play the character" Jin adds
