Yesterday the team and you just came back from the training camp, and right now you guys will be training like crazy for the Spring High Tournament, that will be 2 weeks and a half from now.
Right now you just finished school and now in practice, it's going pretty well but you noticed that Kageyama is starting to get stressed out over this. So you went to go ask him
"Hey Tobio? Are you okay you seem stressed out?" You asked
"I'm fine..."he said blatantly
You nodded and went back on practicing, but you kept on glancing at him just to make sure he was completely okay
4 days later
It was the end of practice and you just stayed with Kageyama because he wanted to practice a little more, before the team left Daichi told you something that puzzled you
"Keep an eye on Kageyama, I have a feeling something is wrong" he said
When they left he asked you if he could toss for you, to which you gladly accept. While spiking the ball you realized that Kageyama is starting to get agitated.
After a lot of spiking you got exhausted "Tobio let's stop for today I'm exhausted" you said while going to the bench but was stopped by a hand around your wrist stopping you to do so
"We need to do it again" kageyama said while releasing you
"Tobio! We have done this more than 20 times! It's time to go home" you said now looking at him
"I can't just go! I need to practice more...you go ahead then" he said and was about to continue training but you stopped him
"Tobio you need to stop, we have been training for god know how long!" You said grabbing his wrist
"Your not my mom! You don't understand what I am feeling!!" He shouted at you
"Tobio you need to stop are you might hurt yourself!" You shouted back
"Stop annoying me! You are even worst than Tsukishima!" He shouted back
"All I am trying to do is look after you!"
"Well don't look after me I don't need you!" He yelled even louder than before
Your eye widen on what he said, you felt wet tears streaming down you face, you looked at him and he didn't even change reaction because he wasn't even looking at you, he was practicing with the damn ball
"Okay fine! I will fucking leave you alone Kageyama!" You shouted and grabbed your stuff and ran
When Kageyama heard you say his last name he knew he messed up, he dropped the ball and ran to try to catch up to you, but because you are a fast runner you are far from the gym by the time he got out.
You ran and ran with tears streaming down your face, since your dad was out for the volleyball team, you were home alone. You reached home and immediately ran up to your room. When you got in you burst into tears sobbing like crazy
You needed someone so you called the only person you knew that will comfort you, Shoyo
Shoyo: Hey (y/n)-Chan!
(Y/n): shoyo *sniff* I need you to come over *sniff*
Shoyo: are you cry!?
(Y/n): come over god damn it (you said while tears steaming down even more)
Shoyo: I am coming over with ice cream and your favorite movie
(Y/n): thanks *sniff* sho
You hung up and changed it your comfortable cloth and got a lot of tissues and started to cry even more, you were a serious hot mess that was inside of a futon.
You phone ran and you looked to see who it was and it was Kageyama, you looked and immediately decline the call to which you sob even more
After a few minutes, Shoyo came bursting through the door with ice cream in had a CD of (your favorite movie), his eyes widen when he say your state, he put everything down and went over to your miserable state, he went over and gave you a big bar hug
You cried on his jacket while he tried to ask you want was going on, to which you just said "kageyama".
Shoyo knew that If you said Kageyama's last name that means something happened between you and him. He didn't question further when he knew what happened
"Hey why don't we watch the movie a brought" he said while smiling
"Fine...." you said with a soft voice
For the whole night, you and Shoyo watch and ate ice cream, you were really grateful to have him as a best friend and not only that but a brother in some ways
Next Day
You went to school and saw that Kageyama was at your normal place you would meet, he looked at you and you simply ignored him and went right past him. This broke your heart but you needed to stay strong.
'I will not be the one apologizing, he is the one that screamed at me' you thought while getting to class.
You saw Kageyama get to class and didn't even look at you, all what you wanted to do was just hug and shower him with kisses but you couldn't do that
When school ended, you haven't talked to Kageyama yet, you felt like you are missing half of you and you are basically miserable. Shoyo tried to cheer you up but unfortunately it didn't work
1 week later
It has been one week and you and kageyama still haven't talked to each other, and team noticed that you two were miserable without each other. And the worst part is that after a week is the Spring High Tournament And two of their best players are basically failing every time
Practice ended and you were talking with Sugawara, he left and you noticed that you and Kageyama are the only ones in the gym right now. You wanted to practice a little more so you just went to the opposite side of the gym and practiced there
It was awkward and both of you knew it, you just did your own thing when you felt hand wrap around your waist and felt something wet on the back of your shirt
"I am sorry (y/n)...." said kageyama while his face stuffed in your back
You couldn't believe your eyes kageyama was crying. You turned around in his arms and held his chin to look at you, for the first time you saw kageyama cry. You heart broke when you saw that and immediately you cried with him
"I-it's o-Okay tobio" you said with a smile and tears in your eyes
Immediately he jump in for the kiss, it has been a week since you guys kissed and this one felt special in a way, it was more passionate than the others like it was your first kiss
You both pull out, and kageyama rested his head in your shoulder while you just kissed his head "I felt so lost without you" he said muffled by the fact that he is face is on your shoulder
"Me too tobio... me too" you said while rubbing circles on his back
"Could we stay like this for a few minutes" he asked
"Sure..." you said while a smile on your face
Little did you know, that the team set this up to make you guys get back together and the while time they were hiding and watch you guys the whole time
"We need girlfriends Tanaka" said noya whispering
"Kageyama is so luckyyyy" Tanaka said
"Well now we don't need to worry about them anymore" said Sugawara like the proud mother he is
"If (y/n)-Chan is happy that means I am happy" said Shoyo and Yachi at the same time
"You know you guys are the worst at hiding right" you said loud enough for the boys and girl to hear
"We knew you were here dumbass..." said kageyama getting off your shoulder but still having arms around your waist.
"But Thanks you guys" you said while smiling
