Day #77
Veronica's POV
Two weeks have gone by since mine and Archie's first fight. We're better then ever now, he made it up to me by buying me fancy chocolate.
Today was a very exciting day because today is the day I hopefully find a wedding dress.
Katy and Betty slept over last night, we watched say yes to the dress pretty much all night.
B- "Cheryl and Toni are going to meet us at the bridal shop" Betty said texting them the address
K- "I'm so exited V! Today is like the best day ever"
V- "I know! I'm so nervous"
B- "Don't be, you'll be just fine I promise"
K- "Ooh and maybe sometime this week we can go show shopping!"
V- "Yes! I'd love thatt"
M- "Alright girls are you ready to go?"
V- "I think so Mrs Andrews"
Sadly my mom couldn't make it since her and dad went on a little getaway, So mary offered to take her place
B- "Alright we have everything, let's go"
We headed into the car and it drove us to downtown. It was super busy, so it took us about an hour to get there.
Cheryl and Toni were already there, and they were standing outside the building
C- "Omg V you look so pretty!" Cheryl said hugging me
V- "Awe you too Cher"
T- "Alright guys let's go in"
K- "What is Archie and Jughead up to today?" Katy said as we walked through the doors
V- "They're going shopping for dress shoes. Knowing those two they'll be kicked out before you know it"
K- "Probably" we all started laughing
Then Mary went up to the reception and started talking to the lady
M- "An appointment for Lodge"
L- "Oh yes," the lady said
L- "Right this way!"
V- "Eek I'm so nervous" I said covering my mouth
Then the lady took us to this HUGE room with couches, tables, dressing room, and even a stage
All of us sat down and waited
L- "Alright who is the bride"
V- "Me" I said excitedly raising my hand
L- "Alright so is it just you picking out the dress or?"
V- "I would like my friends to come"
L- "Alright follow me then"
We then followed the lady to another room where there was racks of dresses, veils, laces, and add ons.
L- "alright so what kind of dress are we looking for today?"
V- "A strapless ballgown, with a sweetheart neckline"
L- "And what is your price limit?"
Then I looked at Mrs Andrew's
M- "It doesn't matter the cost hunny."
V- "I'll say around ten thousand"
L- "Perfect. These are our ballgowns"
I gasped when I saw them. There was so many to choose from
T- "Let's get shopping then!" Toni beamed
V- "Yes!"
Once everyone picked out a dress, the girls went back to the lounge and I went into the huge dressing room.
C- "I picked out the perfect dress"
K- "Mine screams V"
I was in the dressing room, trying on the dress Betty picked out
I looked in the mirror. The dress is beautiful, although I wish it was a bit poofy-er
I walked out and everyone's mouth dropped
T- "Awe so beautiful V"
C- "wow"
B- "Omg V it's so pretty!!"
L- "So what do you think"
V- "I like the sleeves, but not the gown part"
C- "I don't love it, but it's your choice V"
B- "Yeah it looked much better on the rack" everyone laughed
L- "Alright so it's a no?"
"Yes" we all said
After that, I tried on many more dresses. When we ran out, Toni came to me with the most gorgeous dress I think I have ever seen.
I put it on, it was so beautiful that I actually started to cry.
I then started to walk out to where everyone was. Everyone's mouths dropped and Toni actually started crying
C- "Omg V it's perfect!"
T- "Its my dress!"
V- "I love it so much" I said laughing through tears
B- "I can definently see you getting married in this"
K- "Yesss"
L- "So I'm guessing this is your dress"
V- "Yes" I said clapping my hands together
Everyone started clapping and hugging me
K- "But nobody show Archie it's bad luck"
B- "Deal"
