I smile and got my phone out.
I was so tired but I was still going to drive.
When get there I reach for my keys.
"Nope"
I say and grab the keys.
"Colby"
"Sam"
I say mid-yawn.
"Exactly. Give me the keys."
I shake my head
"I'm driving"
"God, you're so stubborn."
I smile
"I love you too"
"I'm driving. Give me the keys."
I yawn
"Fine"
I give him the keys and get in the passenger's seat.
I smile and start the car.
I hold his hand and halfway into the drive I fall asleep.
I look over at him and smile.
I wake up to Sam shaking me awake.
"We're here."
I smile and we go to his apartment. After a while, he falls asleep with his head on my lap. I don't know why but I really wanted to smoke. I move his head off of my lap trying not to wake him up.
I groan before turning over.
I leave his apartment and start walking down the hall.
I sit up and go to the bathroom.
I don't get an Uber I just wake to the store and get cigarettes and a lighter.
I realize Colby's gone. He probably went back to his apartment.
I smoke a few cigarettes before someone comes outside. I look over and see Sam.
I look up.
"Oh hey"
He hated me smoking and I knew he did. I put the cigarette out but he sees and we get into a huge fight about it.
"Colby, last time I saw you smoke you were basically dying!"
"Does it fucking matter?! It was one cigarette! I'm not going to die!"
"But you could!"
"By one fucking cigarette?! I don't think so!"
"What about all the others?!?"
I roll my eyes
"I'm not going to fucking die, Sam!"
I say and after a while of arguing back and forth, we make an agreement that every time he sees me smoking and takes a picture of me he has his choice in anything.
"I better not see you smoking again."
"We'll see about that"
I smirk and put the pack of cigarettes in my pocket.
I raise my eyebrow.
"I'm serious Colby"
"Mhm"
I say and grab the lighter and put it in my pocket as well.
I tilt my head to the side and glare.
I smile and start to walk away. Not to the apartment complex.
I huff and walk back to my apartment.
I start to walk down the street.
I go to bed and try to go to sleep.
I walk around till I get tired and I was in front of Brennen's apartment complex.
I can fall asleep so I start pacing my apartment.
I sigh and go up to Brennen's apartment and knock on the door.
(Brennen)
"What the hell do you want Colby?" I ask when I saw him.
I bite my lip
"Sorry"
I needed somewhere to be right now and I couldn't walk back.
"What do you want?"
I smirk a bit
"Are you still mad at me?"
"Fuck off"
"Come on. What are you even mad about?"
I glare at him.
"Go fuck yourself," I say and start closing the door.
I hold the door open with my foot.
"I will call the police, Colby. Go the fuck away"
After a while of talking to him, I convince him to let me in.
"Just tell me what you want"
"Baby, I'm sorry"
I sit beside him.
"Don't fucking call me babe," I say and stand up.
"Come on"
I say and turn to him.
"Colby, if you don't tell me why you're here, I'm kicking you out"
I smile a bit
"I'm here to apologize"
I lie.
"Don't fucking lie"
"Baby, why else would I be here"
"Fuck off Colby! You fucking played me! You can't go back from that!"
This happens a lot. I break up with Brennan and after me and the other person break up I go back to Brennen after he's fine again.
"I'm not taking you back. I'm fucking not!"
"I just want us to be the same"
I say and stand up. Since I've been smoking I have to turn my head away and cough.
"No! Fuck you! Fuck off! Just-Just leave me alone!"
I sigh and look at the time, 9:30 pm. After a while of him talking and yelling I was getting tired of it so to shut him up, I kiss him and he kisses back.
I push him away after a second and storm out.
I grab his arm
"Brennen"
"No! Don't touch me!" I say and pull my arm away from him.
"Brennen, can you at least talk to me!"
"No! Get the fuck out!"
I roll my eyes and walk out.
I sit on the couch and put my head in my hands.
I start walking down the steps.
I groan and start pacing the floor.
I walk to my apartment complex.
