"Hey"
I look at her confused
"What are you doing here?"
(Kat)
"I uh...I came to talk..."
"About what?"
(Kat)
"Us."
I look over at Sam and back at Kat. I go into the hallway with her and close the door behind me
"Talk"
"I just...I wanted to know if it was anything I had done, or like..."
I shake my head
"No, no. you didn't do anything"
(Kat)
"Then what is it?"
"Kat, you're amazing and beautiful. You didn't do anything wrong. I just don't love you as much as I love Sam"
(Kat)
I sigh
"Look I'm sorry"
(Kat)
"The only thing you have to be sorry for is stringing me along. You can't help who you love and I understand that."
"I thought if I dated you then I would get over him"
(Kat)
"Things don't work like that."
"I know"
(Kat)
I smile a little
"So is he in there."
"Oh- umm yeah"
(Kat)
I smile and nod
"Well um..I'm going to go."
"Okay, bye"
I say and go back in the room.
I look over at him and smile.
I smile.
I look back down at my phone.
We talk for a while before he brings up the razors.
"Why do you have them?"
"Why does anyone have them?"
I sigh.
He asks to see my wrist and I pull down my hoodie sleeve on the arm I didn't cut.
I bite the inside of my cheek
"What about the other one?"
I bite my lip before pulling down my sleeve, 4 cuts.
I look up at him.
I put my head on his shoulder.
I start to play with the ends of his hair, not saying anything.
I hold his hand and entwine my fingers with his.
I look over at him.
"I'm sorry"
I say not looking up at him.
I shake my head
"Don't be sorry."
There's a knock at the door and I take my head off Sam's shoulder.
I sigh and he walks to the door.
I open the door and its postmates.
He walks back in with food.
I put the food on the counter.
We start getting our food.
After we eat I look at the time, it's not that late.
"Do you want to go do something?"
"Like what?"
I shrug
"We'll find out"
I smile.
"You want to?"
"Sure."
