Veronica's POV
Day #8
I woke up to an empty bed this morning. I had decided to start sharing a bed with Archie, just because he is going to be my husband soon and that's pretty much going to be our life.
I got up and checked my phone, it was only eight am, I couldn't sleep so I went looking for Archie.
I took the elevator to the 4th floor, where the gym was.
I walked into the gym and saw Archie working out with a punching bag.
"Morning Archekins"
"Good morning Ronnie"
I loved that name. Ronnie.
"What are the plans for today?" He asked
"I already talked to your dad, but I invited my best friend from riverdale to have dinner with us tonight"
"Sounds great Ronnie, I will see if I can invite jughead, maybe the two will hit it off" he laughed
"Maybe" I giggled
I headed out and volunteered to make breakfast.
I don't mean to brag, but I do make the best French toast in all of America.
I went up to Archies room to let him know breakfast was ready
"Breakfast Archekins"
We headed down stairs and sat with Mr Andrew's
F- "this is some great french toast, Veronica. I'm impressed"
V= "Thank you Mr Andrews"
The maid cleaned up the table, and Archie and I did the dishes.
When Archie and I move into our house after the wedding, we aren't hiring a maid so I guess now is good practice.
I then texted Betty
V- Hey
B- Hey
V- do you want to go to the mall today?
B- of course, I really need a new pair of shoes tbh
V- great! we'll be there in 30?
B- sounds great
V- alright meet us outfront! Bye b
B- bye v!
"Where are you going" Archie laughed
"I'm going with Betty to the mall, need anything?"
"I'm good I think" he said, heading into the bathroom to take a shower
I went outside and got into the limo and we headed to Betty's hotel
We arrived and Betty got into the car
V- "Girl we are going to have so much fun today"
B- "I never thought I'd be going to a mall in NYC!"
V-"me neither, the most we get in riverdale is that outlet mall downtown."
B- "I cant believe I go back home tomorrow"
I didn't want Betty to leave. I dont know what I'll do without her
Betty and I went to a fancy restaurant and had lunch
"So Archie told me he is inviting his friend Jughead to dinner tonight, he thinks you two will hit it off" I laughed
"Oh really?" She said raising an eyebrow
"We'll see about that" she laughed
Our driver came and picked us up at the restaurant and we headed back to Betty's hotel room, she changed into a silver dress for dinner and I did her hair and makeup.
We arrived at the Andrew's and Betty introduced herself to everyone and we headed to the dining room for dinner.
Then Archie's friend, Jughead and his dad came also.
He came over to me and we shook hands
"Veronica Lodge, nice to meet you" I said
"Jughead Jones, the third. You too"
I could tell Betty was DEFINITELY crushing on him
Fred and Fp talked about buisness, and we talked about school and jobs.
"So Betty, do you have a boyfriend back home?" Jughead asked
I choked on my water
"Wouldn't you like to know, Romeo" Betty laughed

We finished up dinner and Archie brought us up to the lounging area
A- "Do you guys want some wine?"
-"I'll have a glass" I said holding out my glass
B-"Me too"
J-"Count me in"
"How about we watch a movie" I said grabbing the TV remote
J-"as long as it isn't a movie as bad as the kissing booth" he shivered
A-"There is nothing wrong with the kissing booth Jug"
I rolled my eyes and started searching through Netflix
"What about Heather's?" Betty suggested
"I love that movie, we did a play back in junior year on it remember, b?"
"How could I forget" she exaggerated
We were in the middle of the movie and Jughead got a call saying he had to go home.
Before he left he gave Betty his number
"Use it" he winked
Betty was definitely blushing
He then left and it was just the 3 of us
A-"So Betty have you ever thought about moving to New York?"
B-"I mean If I could get a steady job, right now I'm flipping burgers at pops" she laughed
It was pretty late so our driver took me and Betty to her hotel
"This will probably be goodbye for a while" I said
"Yeah, but I promise to video call you everyday"
"Deal" I said pulling her into a hug
We let go and I headed out. We waved to eachother and I got in the car.
The streets were pretty quiet and there wasn't alot of traffic.
I got back home and went up to Archie's room. He was already asleep so I got my nightgown on and hopped into bed and fell asleep.
