Thomas exits the van and I follow him. "Y/N?" I hear Newt ask and my heart soars. "Newt?" I say not believing. "What the hell?" I ask my attitude showing through. "Y/N..." I look into Newt's dark crazied eyes with my own, fulled with sanity. "What? I thought you were gone" "I am" He says weakly. "Well what do you want then?"
I ask and Newt laughs crazily. "I want you Y/N to kiss me, not out of pity but out of love" Thomas looks away and I know he is giving us our moment alone. I walk towards him and he grabs my wrists and places them over his shoulders. I leave them there and his lips find my own. I kiss him not caring about anything apart from how i had missed this, him.
He breaks the kiss and presses his forehead to mine. "I love you" He says with sanity in his eyes. "Love you too" He tackles Thomas and I watch as they fight and my heart stops when Newt presses Thomas's gun to his forehead. "Please Tommy" He whimpers and sanity enters his eyes again. His eyes find mine and his mouth forms a word. Sorry. Thomas pulls the trigger and Newt is gone. My blond headed boy with the limp is gone.
