You hear the sound of a whistle, you looked and to your shock Sugawara was requesting to switch with Kageyama
You looked at Kageyama and he seemed scared and you knew why..
"Kageyama there's nothing wrong with you, we are probably switching because you need to cool down!" You said to him giving him a reassuring smile which seems to lighten his way of thinking
Before we started Sugawara came up to everyone including you; greeted and gave some encouragement
'He is basically the complete opposite of kags, if it was him he would probably scare you than encourage you' you thought while imagining Kageyama's frown
Before the game started you noticed that Sugawara was whispering something to Tsukishima.
'This is great! From what I heard Oikawa never played with him nether did his teammates this could higher our chances' you thought
You looked at your opponents than realized something was missing
'Where's Tamaki?' You thought, ever since you have been focused on the game you realize that she wasn't playing
"Hey Oikawa were is Tamaki?" you asked him since the match didn't start yet
"She had to go off, she said it was an emergency" he said nonchalantly
You nodded and the match resumes. Iwaizumi goes for the spike right in front of Sugawara. At the last second you noticed that Sugawara moved and changed with Tsukishima making four eyes able to block the spike.
Soon enough Shoyo comes in and Sugawara does the same thing he did with Tsukishima and whispered to him for another strategy.
One of the players goes for the spike and after he delayed his jump to your surprise Shoyo goes up and blocks him.
You and Sugawara followed Shoyo and jumped up
"Good job Sho!" You said while ruffling his hair since you were taller than him
While doing that you didn't notice a certain blue eyed crow watching you and taking notes mentally
The next move, Shoyo made the ace confused and scored a point.
Soon enough you notice that Karasuno's able to lower the point gap to only six points
'Damn it's still isn't enough' you mentally scold yourself
It was Oikawa's turn to serve, before you could react he aims for between the players which causes him to get a point.
Finally after the third try Daichi receives it.
You and Shoyo then go forward, but Aobajōsai sees this through and knows that Asahi will attack.
Asahi's attack is received and the ball goes for you, you reacted and barely manage to hit over the net
As you see Aobajohsai return the attack, but to your advantage Shoyo timed the block and blocked it
'Sugawara probably told him about timing the block' you thought
The ball flies back of the court, but goes out causing Aobajohsai to win the set
You went to the bench and sat down, Kiyoko hands you a water bottle and you thank her, while drinking you looked at kageyama and see that something was on his mind
Like your body moved on its own you grabbed his hand and just held it
He looked at you but you didn't look at him, all you did was just squeezed it, reassuring him that to not think to much
"Everyone listen up!" Ukai said catching everyone's attention "The worst part of Aobajohsai is Oikawa's serve, we need to maximize our defense"
You all nodded, you looked at Kageyama he saw this and looked straight into your eyes
"Let win this" you said to him to which he nodded
Kageyama stood up letting go of your hand and walked up to Sugawara to which you followed. They talked about fighting for a spot blah blah blah
To be honest you stopped hearing when you heard 'competing'
The second set begins and you went back while Tanaka went in the court. You saw Kageyama talking with Ennoshita so you didn't bother to talk. All you did was watch, you kept your eyes on the prize and will not let go

So far we got a point because of Tanaka . You just watched intensely at the game, All of a sudden Ukai calls for you to come over.
You went and sat down. He didn't speak after a few seconds
"How's Kageyama doing?"
"He's realized that he should accommodate for his teammates"
"Do you like him?" This question came out of nowhere, you blushed and started waving your hands at him
"O-of c-course n-not" you said while he just laugh
"You remind me of your mother when I asked that question"
You just looked at him, eyes widening at this
"But putting that aside, we need you and Kageyama in the court"
"Why's that?"
"We need to try the 'trump card'"
"I don't think we are really to do it" you said while starting to get worried
"I know you can do it, you just need to try"
Before you could say anything he called Kageyama over, he told him what he told me and had the same reaction
"we simply can't do it! We didn't even perfect it properly" he said, All Ukai did was answer him the same way he answered you
"Well let's do this" Kageyama said while offering a hand so you could get up
"Let's do this" you grabbed the hand and stand up
You and him both get the numbers of Sugawara and Tanaka and go to the court. Before switching places but not before Tanaka ruffled your hair
You went to the court and got into position. You looked at your opponents and saw Oikawa starting to shake
The reason is that when you look at someone you kind of look like you are glaring at them. You were later told that Levi did the same thing when he played
You and Kageyama are back into the game, Oikawa knows better than the team; he knows that you are way better than what you are presented..
You look at Kageyama and he did something that you didn't expect him to do. He tried smiling but just scared Shoyo at the process while you tried to hold in your laugh.
The game begins and you get ready.

You serve right into their Libero, but still score; To your delight kageyama went up and gave you a weird high five to which you giggled to.
After a lot of trial and error you still tried to keep up.
The next move, you spike right off the libero. You can see that all of the teams you included are starting to show fatigue.
However you keep your momentum showing no hint of giving up. Before you start the serve you look at saw Yamaguchi standing there and it looks like he will play
He looked nervous, so you tried to calm him down with a smile, but to no luck he got more scared
He serves, but it hits the net and Aobajohsai go into their twenties. Yamaguchi switch's out and apologized
Aobajohsai reaches set point and you and the team start to get worried., before you started to panic more someone snaps you out
"Keep looking forward!" You heard Nishinoya's voice which started to motivate you. You all face forward as you begin to serve
You did a jump serve hoping it will not come back but unfortunately it came back.
As it's going over to Aobajohsai, Kageyama runs up and snatches the ball and tosses it to Shoyo, scoring for us.
With this point, Karasuno and Aobajōsai are now both at twenty-four, pushing the game into a deuce. The first one to get two points wins and you all know that.
The match resumes and both sides don't give in. You started to have signs fatigue and it shows, but you kept pushing forward.
Karasuno and Aobajōsai are tied..not until Oikawa goes up to serve
He spikes with full power and the ball heads straight to Nishinoya. But to your shock to flies straight pass him and goes out, but in return Iwaizumi takes back a point.
Both teams take point after point 'it...just...keeps...going...and going' you thought while panting.
The match soon goes over thirty points and both teams are exhausted. Oikawa goes up to serve but was received by Daichi
The ball goes back and Oikawa tosses it, but at the end gives it to Kindaichi, who scores. You start to get worried and that's when anxiety hits you like a bullet train.
