Right now you and the guys just finished your match against Date Tech. Since the next match you are up against isn't until an hour, you decided to go to a bench and call your dad

Levi: hello?
(Y/n): hey dad I just finished the match against Date Tech
Levi: how did you do?
(Y/n): Well we kicked their ass that's for sure!
Levi: So you beated the Iron Wall?
(Y/n): yes! How come you sound confused?!
Levi: oh nothing~ I just didn't think you could beat them ( he said while trying not to laugh)
(Y/n): hahaha very funny dad (you said sarcastically)
Levi: just joking, but putting that aside I am proud of you
(Y/n): t-thanks dad (you said while tearing up a bit)
Levi: I have to go, but when you get back I am sure that you will win your next match
(Y/n): Okay bye dad
Levi: bye Idiot
Call ended
You looked at your phone for a minute and shoved it back into your pocket. You started to head back to your team when you hear a very annoying voice calling your name, your eyebrows twitched and turned around to see non other than Oikawa Toruu
"(Y/n)-San~ wait up~" he said while singing your name
"What do you want Oikawa" you asked rather coldly
"That isn't how you should treat your Senpai (y/n)"
"Well you are an exception"
"Don't be so rude (y/n) you're hurting my feelings" he said while pretending to be in pain
"Get to the point Oikawa! What do you want"
"I just wanted to ask you for your number~"
"Like I would give it to you of all people"
"Come on (y/n) pleaseeees" He said while holding the 'e'
"No Oikawa and that is final"
You were about to walk away but he grabbed your hand stopping you in the process
"Please" He said while giving you puppy dog eyes
'I can't believe that this idiot is actually a captain not to mention he is a 3rd year! Shouldn't that make him mature' you thought
"Oikawa for the last time no! And can you let go of my hand" you tried to remove your hand but he still didn't let go
Right as you were about to panic you hear a voice that sounded familiar
"Oi Oikawa! Let go of (l/n) or else" you looked and saw kageyama with a scowl on his face while Shoyo hid behind him
"I was just trying to ask her number" he said while tightening his grip on your wrist
Kageyama went over to you and Oikawa
"Just leave her alone"
"Why do you care Tobio"
He went up to you and snaked his hand around your waist, at first you were blushing but noticed what he was trying to do
"She with me" he said coldly
He let go of your hand and raised his hands in defeat
"Okay fine, but I will still try to ask her for her number"
"You wanna fight or something" you looked and saw Shoyo once again in a weak fighting position
'Why does this innocent child have to do this' you thought while sweat dropping from your forehead
You saw that behind him was Iwaizumi and he didn't look happy, he came and smacked Oikawa's head and apologized and brought him to who knows where. After that Kageyama still didn't let go
"Um Kageyama you know you can let go" he blushed like crazy and remove his hand
"So um (y/n)-Chan how do you know the great king?" Asked Shoyo
"True how do you know him?" Kageyama said while holding his chin
"It's a long story. Do you really wanna hear it?" They both nod, so you sigh and began to tell them
So the story is when you went to the National Youth Training Camp to observe, Oikawa was also there. You already knew who he was and you didn't like him, you thought that he was a playboy. Just as you expected, he immediately went up to you. Thinking he can charm you he went up to you, when he approached you, you immediately turn him down.
After you got into Highschool you one day went to visit Tamaki and to no surprise you bumped into Oikawa, when he went to you; you could feel the glares of his fangirls but it didn't faze you, once again he tried again thinking you will give, but to no surprise you didn't. After that Tamaki told you that the was asking for your number ever since.
"And that's how I met Oikawa" you looked and saw that their faces didn't change
"Mind if I ask how do you guys know him?" You asked
"Well before you came we had a practice match against him" said Shoyo
"I used to be in the same school with him"
"That's so unlucky of you, if I was in your position I would have gone crazy" you laughed while shoyo did the same.
You and the boys went back to where your team was, as of now they are stretching for the next match
"Were have you three been?" Ask Sugawara while helping Noya to stretch
"Long story short, Oikawa wanted my number and those idiots saved me" you said while stretching your arms, while that Tanaka came up to you
"Hey (l/n) let's show them that the wing spikers have it all" said Tanaka
"Let's kick their sorry asses" you said
And with that said you and Tanaka did your handshake that you came up with last week
"Wow (y/n) I wanna try" Shoyo said with sparkles in his eyes
"Nonono this is only reserved for the wing spikers" said Tanaka
"Well why don't you start stretching" said Daichi with his scary aura
"Y-Yes S-sir!" The three of you said
You went back to stretching and saw that Kageyama needed help, so you went to him and helped him go down to touch the floor
"U-um w-what a-are y-you d-doing" He said while stuttering
"Helping you out silly, I am already finished so I might as well help you"
He just nodded and you continued to help. After everyone was done it was time to start the match
You all went and opened the doors, you set your stuff and proceed to make a line.
You looked over at the opponents side and see Tamaki looking at you, she gave you a 'good luck' look to which you do the same.
You all bow and get into positions, as always you are the first so you go to the upper court to the left.
You get into position and look at your team. You looked at everyone of them and for some reason locked eyes with Kageyama.
You gave him a 'good luck' face but all he did was blush. He shook his head and looked back at the game, to which you do the same
'Let's do this guys' you thought while hearing the bell indicating to start to match between Karasuno and Aobajohsai
A/n: hellloooo everyone! Hope you had fun reading this chapter, it's rather short compared to my other chapters but I wanted this scene to have its own chapter. Next chapter will be the start of the game and will probably continue for two and a half chapters
