~*~ CHAPTER 1 ~*~
It was on a Saturday, I was upstairs in my room still in my Pajama's sitting in my favorite purple chair reading a book from one of my favorite series "The Vampire Academy" and I had "Corazon" By: Prima J blasting from my purple IPod nano threw speakers on my shelf when my twin came barging threw my door with my laptop balanced on one arm while pushing my door open with the other.
"Violet, what on earth are you doing?" she asked in her Irish accented voice shutting my door and plopping down on my bed and almost dropping my laptop which she was using while hers was being repaired!
"Vivie be careful PLEASE!" I said. "Oh vi it's alright see no harm done" she said holding up my laptop
"Anyways and I repeat: Violet what on earth are you doing?" she says looking at me like I lost my mind
"Umm, I'm reading and listening to music why?" I say holding up my book and gesturing towards my speakers.
"I can see and hear that! But shouldn't you be getting ready we have riding lessons today or did you forget?" she asked looking at me with a raised eyebrow and moving into sitting position I look over at her and finally see her with her long straight shiny black hair that goes to the middle of her back right above her butt hair down, four diamond studded earrings she has two holes in her ears like me, as for a necklace she had on her cross that matched the one I was wearing, an the only ring she had on was her Irish Claddagh, she was wearing her favorite outfit a Green shirt that says DREAM on the front in glittery letters and black jeans
"Oh Crap! That's today I can't believe I forgot!" I said jumping up and setting down my book.
Grabbing her hands and pulling her off of the bed I started pushing her to the door
"Hey! What are you doing?" she asked. "You are leaving so I can get dressed and you can put on shoes! Now Go!" I said giving her one final push "Wait! What ab..." the rest was cut off when I shut and locked the door I pressed my ear to the door and heard mumbling as she walk towards her room.
With that I went over to my closet opened it and pulled out one of my favorite outfits my black hipster jeans along with my purple shirt that had MYSTIC written on it across my chest in very sparkly letters, sometimes when I raised my arms the shirt would show off my midriff I didn't need to add any jewelry because I already had on my cross, ring, and earrings. Then I did my makeup so that my dark brown eyes sparkled and I looked in the mirror at my hair dark brown almost black on top with light brown and a little bit of red underneath with a slight wave to it, but my hair can also be straight, my hair is also the same length as Vivien's I threw it up in a ponytail after all that's done I blew a sigh of relief. I put my reading glasses back in there case and with that I walked out of my room in search of Vivien I walked to her room she wasn't in there or her bathroom.
"Vivien where are you?" I shouted poking my head into the kitchen where my mom was rolling dough for cookies the sun shined on her beautiful dark brown curly hair which brought out the red in it.
"Hi sweetie!" she said
"Hi mom." I replied giving her a kiss on the cheek
"You haven't happen to see Vive have you? We're supposed to leave in a few minutes." I asked walking over to where my black and purple cowgirl boots were.
"Oh! Really where are you girls going?" she asked wiping her hands on her apron
"We are going riding!" I replied pulling on my boots and standing up looking at her
"Well then, I do believe she is outside with your brothers and their friends by the basketball hoop!" she said smiling at me.
"Gracias, mom" I said getting up and giving her a hug and kiss
"De Nada and Have Fun violet!" returning my hug and kiss.
"Oh and give these to your brothers and their friends please!" she said handing me a lot of bottles of Gatorade
"Don't worry mom we will bye!" I said while heading back out the kitchen and towards the front door good thing the door is already open I thought as I pushed the screen open and started towards the basket ball hoop.
Gosh I hope my sister has my helmet and jacket!! Just as I spotted her holding my jacket and helmet while tapping her green and black cowgirl boots with impatience.
Now here something we all have in common we can hear each others thoughts we don't know how or why we just discovered this at a very young age and when we get mad or feel a strong emotion our eyes turn colors depending on the emotion and strength of it. Matthew turn different shades of blue, Mark's turns different shades of red, Vivien turns different shades of green, mine turn well different shades of violet or purple! We can tell when our eyes glowing because the stone on our Claddagh's glow.
Now back to the present: Here I was walking down the path towards the basket ball court arms filled with Gatorades when out of nowhere a basket ball comes flying towards me and I duck and it misses, but I lose a bottle I can't see where it went so I take a step and slip on the lost bottle I close my eyes waiting for the pain, but all I feel is one strong arm holding me up.
Slowly I open one eye and find myself looking at two beautiful brown eyes staring back and with a handsome face very slowly he helps me up, when I'm finally standing again Mark comes bounding up and says " Holy Crap! Vi are you alright? You scared me!"
"Sorry mark! And yeah I think I'm alright thanks to your friend that is." I reply a little shakily.
"Oh sorry how rude of me, let me introduce you." He said waving Vivien over now that everyone was gathered around mark said "Dimitri this is my sister Vivien and her twin Violet. Violet, Vivien this Dimitri and his twin Diamond!" and with that a beautiful girl appears.
"Hi! Nice to meet you!" Vivien and I say at the same time and flash dazzling smiles.
"Ugh! Whatever!" diamond says with a nasty sneer and eye roll, "Diamond!" Dimitri said a little sternly I remember now that my hand is still occupied "Umm... Dimitri?" I say looking at him "Yes?" "Can I perhaps have back my hand?" I ask looking at my hand still in his "Oh umm.... Yeah! My bad sorry." He replied looking slightly embarrassed "don't worry about it.' Oh my god! What time is it??" I said.
"It's 12:00p.m. Why?" Matthew said looking at his watch. "Here these are for you!" I said tossing them at everyone "Vive my jacket please!" I said holding my hand out towards Vivien.
"Violet, What going on?" Mark asked.
"Huh? Oh what nothing!" I replied slipping on my black leather jacket
"Alright, then Where are you going?" mark asked again.
"Oh umm were going riding! Want to come?" I said
"Nah! Were in the middle a game! Sorry twin!" Mark Replied.
"Oh well next time then? Any of you guys want to come?" I asked looking at the rest of the twins. Since, living here we found out that a lot of families have twins most of them I knew except for Dimitri and Diamond. Dimitri is HOT! They both have an accent which I can't place at the moment. He has Gorgeous shoulder length dark brown hair which at the moment was tied back, dark brown eyes that if you look long enough actually looked black that match perfectly with his awesome body which is tan from the summer, but it wasn't a recent tan. Well muscled in all the right places, but not too muscled so he doesn't look bulky it's lean actually so you can't tell he has muscles unless he flex's or you see him naked why am I even thinking about him like that!!! GRRRR... I thought, but right now he has on a simple gold cross under his black muscle shirt with b-ball shorts and sneakers.
Now his sister would be the envy of all girls except Vivien and me, she has a slim waist, big chest, pale skin, she had dyed white blonde hair which you could tell because her black roots were growing out like she hasn't had time to re-dye it and gray eyes wearing a short dark blue denim mini skirt and a light pink shirt that cut-off in the middle of her stomach showing off her belly button ring, with pink studded stilettos. Hmmm..... How do you get eyes like that? I wondered
No one hears me so I have to speak louder "I said does anyone else want to go?" I practically yelled and looked at them.
"Where the loser fair or is it No fashion sense parade?" Diamond Smirks.
"Hmmm... I think it's one or the other, but don't worry you'll win in both!" I replied with a nasty smile
"Yeah and what's that the wild Wild West style?" she asked with a nasty smirk eyeing Vivien and my outfits.
"No I believe it's.....' Vera Wang" My sister and I said at the same time, her mouth hung open.
"Oh sweetie you better close that you don't want to catch flies!" my sister said with fake sweetness. Diamond's mouth snapped shut with a click and gave us the death glare, I turned to tell mark something when out of the corner of my eye I see a pink stiletto coming up right a me I sidestep it grab her ankle of the foot that came up, kicked out her other leg out from underneath so that she ends up on her stomach on the basketball court pinned under me with both her hands behind her back and her wrists in my hands, kneeling on her back "Next time don't attack someone you just met without knowing what they can do to you!" I said while applying pressure with my knee in her back.
With that I flung her hands back at her and stood up to find everyone looking at us, I could tell my eyes were glowing violet while everyone was distracted I took the moment to calm down, breathing in and out deeply with my eyes closed after a few seconds I turned to look at my sister knowing my eyes weren't violet anymore and said
" Do you have my keys?" she looked at me and felt my eyes flash purple once then go back to normal
"Huh! Oh, um no there on the key wall in the garage." She said and with that it seems everyone snapped to attention with Dimitri helping his sister up and brushing her off I walked towards the garage door opened it to see my beautiful black Harley Davidson motorcycle that I got for my Quiceañera, which is nothing more then a Spanish celebration for a girls 15th birthday.
I walked the rest of the way through the door and shut it behind me I've been thinking for awhile about adding purple paint to my bike, but I don't know what to do with the purple paint! I went to the key wall found my keys on their hook, but on the hook next to them which is my sisters hook is where her keys should have been where missing Hmmm Where are her key's? I thought. I looked over my shoulder where my bike is and that's when I realized in the spot next to mine where my sisters bike is suppose to be is gone!
"That's strange" I say to myself. I punched in the code to open the garage Walked over to my bike where's my helmet? I thought looking around then I remember seeing my sister holding it before I fell, I sighed threw my leg over the bike an got on, started the bike, kicked up the kick stand and started backing up out of the garage and onto the drive way.
I forgot to close the garage door so I shut off the bike put down the kick stand and got off, went over and punched in the code to shut the garage door. When I turned back around I saw my brothers and sister walking my way with everyone else. "Here!" Vivien said tossing my helmet to me "Gracias" I said catching it "De Nada" "Vivien, where's your bike at?" I said
"Oh, it's at the shop!" she replied oh, Dios Mio I hope she didn't crash it!!! I guess something showed on my face because she said "It's not what you think, I didn't crash it or anything it just getting a paint job" I sighed "Whew! You do still have your helmet right?"
"Yup! I just need to get it!" she turned to matt "Can you unlock your car? Por favor! "She asked "Yeah one sec.!" he said looking for his keys
"Can you get me out a piece of gum?" he asked unlocking the car with the remote "yeah where is it?"
"Middle console" he said
"me too, por favor!" I called out as she jog towards his car.
"OK!" she yelled back I finally realized that Dimitri and diamond weren't with the group "oh, I'm sorry" I said to mark he looked at me "for what?" he said "for the way I acted earlier" "That wasn't your fault." said Dimitri coming out of nowhere I yelped and jumped back.
"Oh sorry didn't mean to startle you!"
"No, no it's not your fault I thought you left." I said
"I am I have to go home and change my sister's are dragging my brother and I somewhere, but they won't tell us."
He had another sister and a brother I thought I was about to ask him, but didn't get a chance to ask when my sister appeared
"Here, you ready?" she said handing Matt and me our sticks of gum,
"Thanks!" we said
"Yeah I'm ready let's go!" I said "It was nice meeting you!" Vivien said while shaking Dimitri hand "You too!" he replied
"Yeah it was nice meeting you and Thanks for saving me!" I said shaking his hand "Yeah you too and it was nothing" he replied
I walked over to my brothers gave them both a hug "See ya Later!" I said to them while trying to put on helmet then realized I couldn't with my hair in a ponytail on a groan I pulled the hair tie out of my hair and shook out my hair which tumbled down my back in brown waves before slipping on my helmet which was a full faced helmet and a changeable visor which was right now purple.
I flipped it up "I should of just left my hair down today" I said with a little laugh "Hold this please vi!" Vivien said handing me her helmet which was like mine only hers had a pink visor in right now
"Thanks" she said fixing her jacket "Yeah, let's go!" I said throwing my leg over the bike again starting it and turned it around so it faced the gate
"Mark can you open the gate for us?" I said as Vivien settled behind me.
"Yeah" he said walking over to the pad to put in the code "Have Fun!" Matt and mark said at the same time waving at us. "We will! I'll call you later!" I said putting my hand up and revving the engine before I took off towards the stables.
